Not bad in hand to hand though.

As I said, fair not to include him in the ambush plan, being that he is not a shooter.  So I suggested a good, hopefully useful spot for him.  If there's a better place, let me know.

No I agree with the location. Just that Chricton is basically a walking armory of pistols. Everything from cap and ball to plasma it is kinda of funny.

The box is the ice cream truck. The green line is where an ambush line would normally be. In cover or concealment parallel to the enemy line of travel, which is the red line.

Sorry everyone! I've been distracted by home troubles. We had a problem apartment on our floor. Since then we've dealt with a wave of bedbugs and now cockroaches. (To hide this from our too-smart daughter so she's not icked out we refer to them as "Bandits" and "Charlie".) Truly, 2020 is the year that keeps on giving! But it's made it very hard to concentrate on this and other games. I haven't lost interest but am just taking it easy for now.

We've had bedbugs before, about six years ago they infested the entire neighborhood including the library next-door. Roaches ick me out a little more because I used to work in pest control decades ago (long before the bandits made a reappearance) and I did some treatments, I therefore tend to associate them with run-down shabby dwellings. Bandits are a little more impersonal; before, we could at least say that "the bedbugs can affect everyone no matter how clean; cockroaches are a sign of squalor". And our daughter Gianna isn't bothered too much by Charlie. The Bandits are (probably) gone now and Charlie doesn't bite. The nicknames are more so that Michelle and I can deal with them. At the school where I work we had a problem with Charlie, some foreign students (I can't recall if they were from India or Mexico) wondered what they were and were surprised because back home they are much, much bigger.

Actually it is... đi đi mau literally translates as "Get lost" in Vietnamese, and was adopted by US troops serving there as "Let's get out of here" :)
