Re: Die Roll, Card and Chip Draws/Awards II

Hello everyone!

Time for a chip/grit audit.

Following are the chip totals I have for all PCs (including blood type) arranged from White, Red, Blue. LC = Legend Chip:

Increase Trask O+ 2/2/0
Jason/Crichton A+ 0/0/0 +2 LC, 1 Bounty
Peter Firecrow B+ 5/2/0
Smoker Nix A+ 0/2/0
Brother Edgar O+ 3/2/2 +1 LC
Cannibal Jack B- 1/1/1

Jack drew one White, one Red and one Blue chip.

The Posse has prevailed over three Fearmongers: The Anti-Bishop of Wichita, Modeen and Baphomet. Characters that have faced all three (Peter and Smoker) have 3 Grit. Jason has faced two (Modeen and Baphomet) and so has 2 Grit. Trask has faced one (Baphomet) and has 1 Grit. I don't think Brother Edgar has had the chance to be a part of any of those? And Cannibal Jack just joined the posse.

Three Fearmongers means three Legend Chips. Al these have been drawn at this point. (Brother Edgar gave his up a while back when he was NPC'd but gets it back now he's rejoined.) Remember, if you hoard them they can't be recycled and reused! I don't think anyone's ever used a Legend Chip before now? Correct me if I'm wrong!

As well, you are now down a storyteller, as Rowan is no longer a part of the Posse. Fortunately you have Brother Edgar back, and he's not too shabby!

Thanks,

Tony

I am sure someone counted coup on Baphomet, I am not sure who. did anyone count coup on Modeen?

Sorry for missing this. I couldn't find any Bounty for Legend chips. The mechanics don't seem to account for this (with regards to how it's recovered or put in the pot). If you'd like to convert it to Bounty 5 should do it and it goes back in the pot.

Did we ever figure out what the Coup was for Baphomet and Modeen? I can look at our PMs to figure it out.

Modeen is just access to anti-Templar powers. Baphomet we never sat down to figure it out.

I was just curious as to what you would say on the BP. Might spend them for a check for Chricton to build something.

The Marshall:
In reply to Gilles the Driver Bot (msg # 337):

With the rig not slowing them down they made good time. Over the next hours the Posse had good luck and high-balled it south down Confederate Interstate 49. The tracks became fresh with splash marks and tire tracks charging through streams and puddles scarcely dry in the humid heat, and broken vegetation was still fresh.

Their quarry turned east towards the Mississippi river and continued along a stretch of Confederate Interstate, CI-19, that had been abandoned and deactivated even before the war to become part of the Atchafalaya Nature Reserve. This was very unusual as they seemed to be trapped, there were no other side routes through the wild overgrown forests and the stub of abandoned Interstate even ended short of the Mississippi. Not that there were any functioning bridges left over the great sludgy river at this time.

OOC: Everyone can make Cognition checks.

'Cannibal' Jack rolled a 3,2,and a 5 on cognition

Sometimes I forget that a 9 is actually really good to get in a system like this one (as opposed to say, rolling a D20 for a skill check heh).

21:29, Today: Peter Firecrow rolled 9 using 3d10, keeping the highest dice only, rerolling max with rolls of 9,6,7.  Drivin' roll for Shortcut!

Re: Die Roll, Card and Chip Draws/Awards II

I'm going to rule that you just take your full actions. The enemy will not react further this turn.

Bear in mind that the technical is parked just out of sight in the treeline to avoid any chance of being spotted before the ambush is sprung.

The good news is Peter has 5 Actions. While Crichton and Jane have 2. (Cannibal Jack has acted already.)

To pull out Peter must spend an Action (to start driving, but after this he doesn't need to spend additional actions to drive as it's a "continuing action"). Plus, due to the timing of the attack, he must spend another Action (to delay his initiative until after Jack).

Thanks,

Tony

Re: Die Roll, Card and Chip Draws/Awards II

So. I PMed the GM with lots of questions (sorry Tony!) and made a called shot to one of their front tires. After a crappy initial roll and 3 chips later, I think I hit (assuming I can keep the 7, which I think you can pick the highest with White Chip rolls). If not, I missed, lol.

17:40, Today: Peter Firecrow rolled 8 using 3d10, keeping the highest dice only, rerolling max with rolls of 1,5,8.  Drivin’ if needed.

10:27, Today: Peter Firecrow rolled 3 using 4d10, keeping the highest dice only, rerolling max with rolls of 3,2,2,1.  Shooting (called shot to tire, -1 to total).
10:30, Today: Peter Firecrow rolled 7 using 1d10, rerolling max with rolls of 7.  White chip.
10:43, Today: Peter Firecrow rolled 1 using 1d10, rerolling max with rolls of 1.  White chip.
10:43, Today: Peter Firecrow rolled 8 using 1d10, rerolling max with rolls of 8.  Red Chip.

10:46, Today: Peter Firecrow rolled 21 using 3d8, rerolling max with rolls of 7,7,7.  Damage (if I hit).
