You guys do have various radios. Peter and Crichton's IBS helmets and Trask's Wolverine have tactical radios, Smoker has a hand radio (in a baggie to keep it dry).

It would take a few hours, half a day at most, with a work crew equipped with a couple cutting torches to free the hulk from the remains of the CSS Kidd. The undead need to be sorted out for safety's sake.

I...don't think any of the remaining PCs have Drivin'...Hoverbike? Or whatever the specialty would be, but I could be wrong.

I think it's 2 Bounty to gain the Hovercaft specialty for Drivin'. You've seen Rowan ride it and it doesn't look hard. In other words you can pay the Bounty now if you like.

You have two townspeople in a flatboat for transport back to town. They are waiting at the end of the bridge you climbed up. There are a couple more flatboats tied off on the Queen.

I think that would be wise unless the group disagrees.

I was about to ask if the hands would be targetable that are shaking the boat - but realizing the very precarious position that would put someone in to make that swing WHILE the boat is being shook seemed like a very dumb idea, hahaha!

Does it FEEL like they are going to be able to get up the momentum to actually overturn the boat if something's not done? Kind of at a loss of what to do other than maybe shoot in to the water.

  Yeah 6 of these bloats. Not a huge threat unless they flip us. And then that could get bad quick. Good news is we know we are on the right trail so to speak. But shooting seems a bad idea in case we miss and hit the pontoons.

Do we have anything like a boathook? That we could stab with without having to get too close...

Would he have his normal armor (and therefore the nightvision), or did they have to put on something specific in case of going diving underwater today? I can't remember.

I don't know if I mentioned this but the first time I read the term "torch" was in the Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe. I remember thinking, man, those British kids were running around with flaming torches, that's so metal! (Or rad, or boss, whatever.)

What's funny is the name is a reference to neither. The Tech Sgt was just because I was tired of military noncom being Sgt or Pfc so for flavor looked at the list of ranks of the US military and that looked right. As for Chricton I was reading a Micheal Chricton book at the time iirc.
