Chat with Liberty

On the day appointed for Mittens to meet up with Liberty, she gives her a call to see if there's anything preventing her from showing up at the rendezvous place she picked.

((OOC: Leaving it up to Liberty's player to pick a place and time of day she'd want to meet with Mits. ))

Re: Chat with Liberty

Privacy was important. As much as Liberty likes to speak out, she knows it is important in this case. Because of this, her home was picked as an ideal spot. When Mittens is ready, she would be let in by Liberty's parents and then directed to the girl's room. Which is very 12-year-old girl with tomboy streak. Makeup kit at a desk with a mirror. Clean room with red linens and curtains. But what's different is the corkboard with newspaper articles and to-do lists pinned on it, the posters that should normally have some pop-culture sexy man instead are posters of American heroes such as George Washington, Ben Franklin, and she even has a framed Constitution and Bill of Rights hanging on her walls.

When Mittens comes in, it seems Liberty has already set up a second beanbag chair next to the one she's in. Liberty is playing a video game while waiting for Mittens.

Re: Chat with Liberty

Mits of course would have thanked the parents for directing her to Lib's room and gives the girl a smile and wave.

"Hey there, superhero," she says, eyes focused mostly on the blond.

She's wearing tennis shoes, work jeans, and a Superwoman T-Shirt.  http://www.staticvariable.com/...81416_superwomen.jpg

She has a backpack slung over one shoulder.

"Hope you like sweets!"

She jiggles a bag in her left hand.

((OOC: Before the meeting, Mittens would have done a quick google news search of Liberty and may have found articles about her heroic past.  Up to you what she found.  But I figured it very unlikely she wouldn't have found something amazing about Lib. ))
