RP Introductions: Challia and Mandy

(OOC: Bluntly named for ease of reference. This is a thread to help Challia and Mandy get acquainted with the setting. It's optional, but Challia expressed interest today, so I thought I'd get it started and if Mandy wants to join in, they are welcome to. So is anyone, really, but remember it's not required. :) )

The setting: East and Main. The usual generic city corner full of hustle and bustle. People so busy they wouldn't notice much of anything except one of the non-human looking mutants maybe.

Liberty, a human-looking mutant, just got a bag of groceries from the local mart and is walking along the sidewalk of the city streets. She is using both hands to hold the bag, mostly to make it easier.

Re: RP Introductions: Challia and Mandy

Being as strong as a full grown man doesn't eliminate the peskiness of being little.  Grocery bags don't tuck under little girl arms too readily, so one handing it would likely have been an issue.  Mittens is merrily marching along side Liberty, texting away with her new and improved high-end touch screen cell phone.

"I wonder what the statistics are for accidents caused by texting while walking," Mittens muses aloud, "But I'm counting on your extra pair of eyes to keep me safe, Lib."

Re: RP Introductions: Challia and Mandy

Joe's greatest aid in not attempting to roofhop everywhere is the fact he is often lazy.  So, while this does increase his on foot travel times it also prevents him from looking like a nineteen year old spaz (or losing the contents of his pants pockets again).

He's just got an iced tea, because they also sell those where they sell groceries and hey, what's one more coincidental tag along?  "Bonus irony points if you walk into traffic while watching that video of the texting lady walking into a fountain.  Not that we want that."
