Chapter 4-B: Moving In

The road trip is uneventful in the sense there's no danger involved, really. On the way there, Timothius chats with Mittens about how worried he is about the others and that maybe Liberty is putting on a tough act to cover up how traumatized she may actually be from that capture.

Meanwhile, Liberty is hugging Michael from behind and "Woooohooo! This is so fun! Heehehe!" Well, if she's traumatized, the motorcycle is taking her mind off of it for now.

What happens between Angel and Emerald is anyone's guess. But whenever she's at the stop light and happens to be next to Mittens or Michael, she'll smile over at, bounce her eyebrows up and down, and then salute when she takes off.

Re: Chapter 4-B: Moving In

"Well you know me," Mittens answers her bro, "Only reason I can smile on the same day my BBBFF was kidnapped is 'cause I set my mind on the fact that you're still alive."

Her eyes tear up and she swallows the lump in her throat.

"Thanks for not dying.  I'm sorry this happened to you.  And for sometimes acting like it's all a game when it's not.  It helps a lot knowing you understand.  I can't fall apart.  If I did, you...  everyone might be dead right now."

She grips the wheel tight and totally misses Angel's salute.

"Lib sounds like she's doing alright at least."

Re: Chapter 4-B: Moving In

Michael can't help but smile as he hears Liberty enjoying herself. Each time they stop next to Angel and Em, Michael nods back and guns it a bit, having some fun with a little racing. Of course, nothing to dangerous. While Liberty might not get hurt if they crashed, he certainly would. Plus the bike would be expensive to fix.

Re: Chapter 4-B: Moving In

Timothius says, "Thanks for saying that. It helps to hear that you took it all seriously, even if I already know you did. You keeping a positive attitude is also helping me. But above all, I'm glad you aren't giving up. The fact Harry, Liberty and I were kidnapped is all the more reason for the Citizen's Patrol to exist."

Angel is more than happy to be playful with Michael while not breaking any laws or causing danger. And soon, the bunch arrive at Michael's place.

Re: Chapter 4-B: Moving In

Michael stops his bike in front of a four story apartment complex. It is not overly elaborate, nor is it completely run down. The neighborhood is civil enough, as he feels comfortable parking his bike in front.

"Well here we are. Third floor is me," he says, thinking of how it will be such a pain to get the bigger furniture down.

Re: Chapter 4-B: Moving In

Angel exits her car and asks, "Just a curiosity, did you rent a U-Haul last time? Or do you have a large vehicle of your own? 'Cause if you need to haul furniture, we'll need something larger than the cars and bike we all used."
