Jack swung with his other arm with the farming tool. The added range to the hoe would help out, but he wondered by how much. If only he could get to some of his finer equipment, this would be going better for him.

1 * 4 = 4 damage (Jack)
Evasion failed
As EDGE-01 continued to fight against the farmer known only by the name of Jack, he could feel the nanomachines working underneath his armor slow down and finally stop working. His sensors indicate that his energy is not sufficient enough to continue the operation of his automated repair system. With his body low on energy, EDGE-01 could only muster a swift jab at his opponent in order to buy for time to recover enough energy and fight back.

Evasion Fail
Jack shrugged off the feeble attempt at an attack. He was growing tired of this fight and wanted to bring it to a close. He would have to bring the animals in from the pasture soon; this battle was wasting his time.
With an evil grin, Jack produced a glowing axe from the infinite confines of his pouch. The silvery weapon glinted and sparkled as it caught rays from the sun. With a grunt, the hardened man swung the weapon in a vicious arc at his opponent. Several pounds of metal were on a collision course with EDGE.

EDGE-01 was sent staggering back as the well-crafted axe managed to cut through his protective armor and damage some of his inner systems. This will hurt his fighting capability by a great deal, and the android needed to work fast before the farmer dishes out some more.
The blow rendered his left arm inoperable, hanging limply without any response. EDGE-01's energy supply has started allocating some energy to get the arm functional, at least to keep his combat capabilities at satisfactory levels. While his body works on the repairs, the rescue android stepped up on his attack by rushing forward and delivering a swift tackle at his opponent. Hopefully it would help buy him some time and gather up energy for a stronger attack.

The best EDGE-01 could manage for now is a feeble punch in order to keep his opponent off his feet. He did not even have the energy left to maintain the power behind his attacks, while the farmer is likely to still have surprises of his own other than the incredibly sharp axe from earlier.

Jack shrugged off the punch and smirked. He was beginning to get the upper hand in this match. From the infinite confines of hammer space, he pulled out an iron hoe. This weapon was not as powerful as the axe, but it would do. He slammed the weapon into EDGE's armor, hoping to tear a huge hole in it.

How the farmer could fight so well confounded EDGE-01 - what manner of training did the android's opponent go through in order to achieve this level of strength? He was even able to anticipate EDGE-01's attack and avoid the incoming tackle.

For the time being, EDGE-01 maintained a hit and run approach that involves dashing in for a tackle that is combined with pushing away to put some distance between him and the farmer. He needed to buy himself time to recover his strength.

Jack accepted the blows and shrugged them off. He seemed to not care much about the constant attacks thrown his way. Being a farmer was hard work. His body was tough and most things didn't bother it anymore. With a small grin, Jack pulled out his steel watering can and swung it at EDGE, hard. He was simply enjoying putting all his wonderful farming implements to new and exciting uses.

Jack abruptly dropped his watering can and reached deeper into his infinitely deep pockets. This time he tugged out a shining and lovely looking item: a golden hammer. With said item in hand, he swung back and forth in front of him. He had no real aim in mind; he simply wanted to enjoy the feel of the heavy item in his hands and to marvel at the way the sun played off its polished surface.
OOC: Why are the "best" items in these games always golden? Gold is so soft? It would be a horrible tool!...okay, too much logic in a game thing...

Whatever the farmer is doing, it was keeping EDGE-01 from making any decent progress in the fight. The android is having trouble getting close to land a decent blow.

Attack 8*3: 24 DMG (EDGE-01)
Evasion Failed
A good farmer always tested his tools meticulously before he put them to use. The issue here was that Jack didn't seem to know whether he was actually using his hammer for the right job right now. Did 'knocking someone's lights out' really apply to HIS hammer? He didn't think so.
So, doing what any other competent working man in his position would have done, Jack whistled as he tested the weight of his Golden Hammer, swinging it once in a wide arc and watching the fine work of craftsmanship glitter in the sunlight. Well, what was left of any sunlight that happened to fight its way through tens of thousands of fathoms of dark waters and peek through the dirty glass that kept the surrounding ocean at bay.
Whatever the case, the glint of the unblemished metal pleased Jack, and he replaced the tool, content that it was fit to be put to use later. Maybe he would build a new barn?

EDGE-01 is literally out of his luck, with the consistent blows he has been taking over the past few minutes in the battle. Did something go wrong along the way that kept him from landing a solid hit on the farmer? Probably. He would not be able to figure it out at this point though.

Attack: Silver Sickle: 21 DMG (EDGE-01)
Evasion Failed
Jack was beginning to grow tired. This much physical exertion could be likened to a hard day on the farm, sure, but it didn't bring him any sense of accomplishment. Drawing a long, silver sickle from his pouch, Jack charged at the rescue android, swinging hard and fast. He wanted to end this battle so he could get some rest. After all, a farmer always rises early.

EDGE-01 did what he can to fight back against his opponent, the mighty farmer only known as Jack. Try as he might, the damage he received was too great to recover from. It gave him an idea of what he needed to improve on, at the least. But now, he is very much overpowered by the farmer's diligence and hardiness.
The rescue android would have lost this battle, but have learned how to get better in the future.
