Tetris: Stickman vs Blanka
Tetris
  Origin: Alexei Patinov
Description: Come on...you all know this one!
In this stage the characters are transported to an enormous tetris game.  The blocks are slowly falling and filling up the screen!
There are only 5 turns to finish the fight before the players are squished*.  If a player rolls a critical, one of two actions can be taken:

  1) Hit an opponent normally.
  2) Negate your attack against your opponent by eliminating a few lines of blocks instead with your directed critical.
This extends the turn limit by 3 and nets the player $5.

If there are no turns left then all players are squished*.

*If players are squished, there are NO rewards obtained.

Rolled: 1,91
Attack: "Is this really a attack?" : 1 * 4 = 4 Damage
Evasion: Failed

Stickman appears in a quite... interesting world to say at least. It was like he had been teleported to a big, wide platform to fight his opponent. Well that seemed simple enough. Without any to hide behind it didn't take long for the ink fighter to find his oppoent. Stickman wasn't quite sure what to expect of the green skinned street fighter, but he was certain that it wouldn't take long for him to find out.

As Stickman prepared himself to launch the first blow, the ground shook violently beneath his thin legs. Confused he looked around, seeing a massive sized block behind him. Only now did he notice the many blocks in the sky that slowly dropped down towards them and realized what kind of platform they were currently standing on.

Even a 2D fighter like himself wouldn't survive being squashed by that, so he didn't waste any more time. He had to finish this fight quickly. However, he couldn't just recklessly charge in. Last time he did it he had gotten a hadoken to the face. To see how the other fighter would fight, Stickman created a small black ball, that looked like it was made out of ink, in his hand, before throwing it straight at Blanka.

HP Level 2: 120
SP Level 2: 30
Power Level 3: 3
Speed Level 3: 3

Passive Ability:
None

Active Ability
Electric Shock
Cost: 10 SP
Description: Blanka has now learned to manipulate the flow of electricity into his fists. His attack roll for a turn is increased by 1 (a 5 becomes a 6, not a 7).

Rolled: 4, 34
Attack: 3*4 = 12 Damage, evasion fail

Blanka let the ball bounce of his tough hide and ran towards the...thing.  What was he fighting?  And where the hell were they?  Massive blocks were falling everywhere and he was fighting a cartoon?  The creature shook his head and growled.  What a weird place.  As the beast made contact with his opponent, he punched and clawed at the object, hoping to determine exactly what it was and how to hurt it.

Evasion Fail

Blanka knocked his opponent back a step and started to glow.  Sparks flew from his body and danced across the ground in an arc towards Stickman.  He hoped that he could fell this strange thing with a combination of brute force and electricity.  It always seemed like the sparks helped move the fight along.

Rolled: 2,71
Attack: "Is that even a attack?" 2 * 4 = 8 Damage
Evasion: Failed

After being knocked back a few steps by the attack, Stickman lunged forward to deliver a solid punch and kick combo at the other. His plans however where cut short when he got electroduced midway, causing him to merely crash into his opponent while the blocks kept falling around them, one after another.

Attack: Martial Arts!: 3 * 4 = 12 Damage
Evasion: Failed

Now more or less on top of Blanka, Stickman didn't give the other any time to recover, as the black fighter got up and reached out to grab the others leg, before he would spin several times and throw him away, preferably beneath one of the falling tetris blocks. Looking upward, he saw another block coming towards him and as swift as he could he tried to wall jump his way up to the top to give him a little more time. However, during this action he would be open for a blow from his opponent though...

Blanka was tired already.  Or maybe the fight didn't interest him?  For whatever reason, the green creature couldn't seem to be bothered with giving a damn.  He let loose a small, half-hearted punch, hoping to send Stickman away with his ambivalence.

Blanka growled and stood up a little straighter.  What was he doing?  Why was he going to allow himself to be crushed by blocks and beaten to a pulp by a drawing?  A shitty drawing, at that.  With more energy, the beast punched, kicked and clawed at Stickman in an attempt to send the odd creature into the nearest block line.  He wanted to end this match now.

While he was being beaten by Blanka, Stickman noticed that he was being pushed towards a line of blocks and in this world, blocks meant death. Thanks to his odd dimensions, Stickman managed to make himself as flat as a line, before he tripped Blanka to stop the chain of attacks and get away from the incoming blocks. Looking around he noticed that there wasn't any space left and that the next round could very well mean the end for both of them.

By throwing another ball of ink right into Blankas face, he tried to blind the fighter momentarily to find a place to hide. Unfortunately two four-panel line blocks had cornered the two of fighter, leaving only room upwards.

A massive shadow as black as himself was cast on the little place the two had left as a huge block started to descend towards them. The sides of the massive blocks fit perfectly with the two blocks that cornered them, leaving no space to escape, even if Stickman made himself as thin as a line.

For a 2D - fighter like himself that said something. The block was clearly aiming to squash and end the fight without a real conclusion and unless Blanka had any tricks up his sleeve this would end as a short and purposeless battle.

Re: Tetris: Stickman vs Blanka
Forgoing attack due to lack of purpose...no crit

Blanka ignored whatever attacks Stickman launched at him at this point.  He was more concerned with the line of massive blocks growing ever closer...

As the blocks reached a few inches above the creature, it sighed and closed its eyes.  What a horrible match.  He didn't even lose to his opponent...just some stupid game...

Pity present: $10 to Stickman (good effort!)
