Team Battle #138 - Survival - Solitude vs. endless Tel'adrel

Solitude (CR 19) vs. Tel'adrel (CR 15) ad infinitum (Final CR to be determined)

MAP TBA

Rules: Solitude must defeat 4 consecutive Tel'adrel clones for victory. Match continues thereafter until Solitude dies or both parties agree to end. Tel'adrel's equipment and spells are locked after prep rounds.

The O block's are  15 foot tall stone horse statues.
the #'s are chair's that count as difficult terrain for movement.
The ='s mark a long table.
The table can be hopped on (DC 10 jump).  To jump over the chair on to the table it's DC 15 jump.

The hooded sorcerer steps into the arena through an ovular disk of shimmering silver/white light, in the background of which can be seen the exterior of the Garrulus Pub and Winery, a translucent armor-like field already visible about his person and a pair of large dark, metallic wings sprout from his shoulders. The disk vanishes a moment after he steps through it.

He makes his customary nods to the crowds, wherever they may be, and then calmly sets to completing a series of incantations, weaving a web of wards about his person.

OOC: Round 1 assumes Tel'adrel does not see a spell effect that would prevent his spell from working. See PM thread.

Tel stretched before poking himself with a wand to take flight. Tossing the twig, Tel made his eyes glow blue and began to blink in and out of existence.

"Let's see how you fare!"

With the start of the match, Tel flew out and tested Solitude's defenses by firing a cylinder of emerald at the mage which then burst into acid!

Tel stole a moment to interrupt Solitude's deflective sphere but both beams of acid failed to meet their marks.

Clearly having anticipated this particular incantation, the hooded sorcerer stand unmoved as the swarm of biting jaws of arcane force shatter against his wards, leaving him completely unharmed. Clearly they were unable to pierce his resistances.
Calmly, he weaves another enchantment to enhance his perception even further, clearly preferring not to waste offensive spell bolts on a foe that is hard to pinpoint...

Tel's reappearance triggers the conjurer's held incantation and another, large disembodies hand, this one clenched like a fist, coalesces next to the sorcerer. One attempts to grapple him, while the other tries to clench him in a tight hold.

Tel must make an opposed grapple check, DC 64, or be grappled and he takes 12 [Force] damage from the attack by the other hand.
