Aaron James:
Aaron does have some points in drive. But as the only one with any kind of ranged weapon I thought he shoukd be providing support in that form. I figure that having arrows fly at you is distracting in a pursuit situation :)

Makes sense to me.

I had Annabelle volunteer to drive because since she's never driven before and it would be really funny at a time like this.

Corebook states if a character drives an unfamiliar vehicle they get a -2 to -5 penalty on rolls so that will apply here since she's never driven before.  A character can try to drive without driving skill but you need at least one point of driving skill to pass a driver's test and get a license, but that's not really an issue here.

If the vamp cops manage to catch us without any brakes on their car, they're not going be asking for license and registration.

Don't look at Annabelle.  She's keeping both hands on the wheel like a responsible driver. ;)

Re: OCC Thread

Realistically, they'll start their cars. And then they'll run an intersection and cause a major accident, taking shrapnel and massive crushing force damage. It won't kill them, but they'll saw ow alright :P

Re: OCC Thread

I suggest everybody grab a book and make a research roll.  Multiple researches can combine success levels, and higher success levels reduce the time period it takes to find a spell.

Intelligence plus occultism roll (and everybody here has at least one point of occultism).

Re: OCC Thread

(OOC:Not sure you can use a sword in a grapple...at least, you can't in D&D)

That thought crossed my mind too, but I don't see anything in the book that says you can't.

This is what it says about penalties while being grappled: "The attacker has to decide what part of the body to grab:limbs, the whole body, or the neck.  When grappled, the target is at -2 to actions that involve the grappled limb, or -1 to all actions if grappled around the body.  If both arms are grappled by two attackers, the victim is at -4 most rolls and can not Dodge.  A neck grapple doesn't impair the target but sets him up for either the Break Neck or Choke action."

Aaron is currently grappled around the neck, so no penalty in this case.

Re: OCC Thread

Eh. Decision stands. Priority for aid is Aaron, Annabelle, Bot, in that order. Aaron being 'most likely to die', Annabelle being 'alive', Bot being not alive.

But the Bot is powered down. With one demon left this will get interesting. Now I just need to restudy those combat rules and add the relevant numbers. I'm not giving up on this game just yet.

Is Mike posting a combat move this round?

Or is he going back inside for a mug of blood while Annabelle and Aaron finish the last one? ;

We have a new member of the group.  Say hello to Lance Chambers, former Intiative agent.

Buffybot is now back to action as well, so we're back up to a team of five.
