Michael, Aaron, Buffybot, and Annabelle get 3 exp points this episode.

Lance you get 2 exp points since you joined mid-episode.

No DPs this ep.

Heh. Just occurred to me...

I hope everyone has nerves of steel advantage. Otherwise, these things can be quite...scary. ;)

Re: OCC Thread
New episode up.

Mike and Aaron, you guys can continue talking amongst yourselves and post in the main episode thread since you're not involved in this fight.

Rest of us need to post in the combat thread.

Lance, this how we do combat here: everybody involved in the fight posts their attacks in the combat thread, then once everybody posts, I copy and paste everyone's moves and resolved the round with your posts slightly edited to reflect the success or failure of your actions.

First thing you do is roll the dice, you should have at least two rolls, one for your attack, one for your defense.  Don't forget to make a defense roll, otherwise it's usually an auto-hit for the bad guys if one is attacking you.  Once you make your rolls, copy and paste them in the combat thread along with what you are attempting and any snappy lines you want to throw in.  If you read through some previous combat posts, that should give you an idea of what to do.

Everbody in the fight does.  Underwear will remain clean.

Heh.

Nerves of Steel is one of those 'every PC has that' type things.

Re: OCC Thread
I am still waiting to see if Lance needed to act first or is it going to be a three on two. Tried to add more maneuvers but my Ipad gave out. Lucky for me I find the Buffy 2.0 quick sheet. I just need to find out if Buffy had only the stake as her melee weapon. (during the show's run) :(

Though he might not know (or remember) IC, I'd like to point out bullets do 1/5 damage to vampires of any sort.

Lance probably just learned that when his bullet didn't slow the Turok down much. ;

I don't recall Buffybot ever using any weapon other than a stake on the show, but that doesn't limit you here.

The only weapons she would have at the moment is either a wooden stake or a regular knife (X 2 damage) since she wasn't carrying anything before and knives and stakes are the only things found in the supply stash.

Mike knows the underground tunnel route to a magic supply shop if he and Aaron want to go get magic supplies without him bursting to flame.

Is Buffybot going to post a combat move this round?

Does Aaron have anything to add before I reveal what happens to him and Mike next?

Sorry. Been a bit busy lately. I've got nothing profound to add to the tunnel traveling experience though.

If Michael and Aaron want to search the store for a key, they can each make a perception plus notice roll.

Do we need to?

I'd think we'd have at least one spare car key from all the stolen vehicles...

Yeah, that makes sense.  You can just grab an extra key from one of the stolen key rings.

Re: OCC Thread
...I'm surprised a taser works as advertised on the bot. Guess it depends on how insulated bot is to electrical discharge.

For similar reasons, I wouldn't expect a taser to work as advertised on me, either. Or the enemy, if the taser rifles get taken away and turned on them.

Re: OCC Thread
Nothing in the taser rifles rules that says it affects different types of beings a different way.

In fact it states: "fires an electrical charge that does little damage but knocks out most targets, even vampires."

There was a season four episode where Spike gets zapped with a Initiative taser which left him lying helplessly on the ground as they dragged him away.  That's how they captured him to put the chip in his head.

Fish Tank:

The spell is a power level 5, will need five success levels to succeed on a willpower plus occultism roll.

Lay out the moss herbs on the floor, put the key on top, drip Mike's blood on the key, walk a circle around it while doing  a chant.

Supermarket:  Annabelle and Lance are knocked out.  Buffybot is the only one still up who can act  this round, she is at -2 penalty to any rolls and the two vamp cops have initiative and will be able to fire on her first.

Re: OCC Thread
Hmm. Think re-trying the spell is going to have to wait. Even with spending a Drama Point the chances of success aren't favourable. I really should have put more into Occult than Knowledge.
