I missed out on the last couple of rounds (must have misread it again) so HOPEFULLY this post would make it up. A very angry Buffybot and one wimpy vamp cop. Not good. LOL

We still aren't going to want to take on the elite 4 as a group, though. One at a time on those guys. Ideally.

12 to go.  The chief, his 4 elite SWAT vamp henchman, and an assortment of 7 SWAT vamps and beat cops.

Please post a combat move as soon as you can.  You've got one miquot demon coming at you, last round I posted for you and had you attack him with your big knife.  Mike has the other demon on the ground and is trying to twist his head off.

Yeah, don't let the GM roll for you. He makes you roll all 1s. :P

As a side note...I might note that next time the GM lets you spend XP, Hard to kill only costs 1 XP per level. Given this, it would be prudent for everyone to have all 5 hard to kill levels humans can have. Vampires and Slayers can have up to 10, of course. I'm saving up for one more con boost before I buy the rest of mine, though.

Aaron, I had Annabelle grab you and dive behind the table, her intent being to use both the table and her body to protect you from the blast as much as possible.  If you wanted to run, just post you dodged her grab attempt and ran and I'll edit her post.

Nope that works for me. You get to be all heroic and I get to be thrown around like a fish :P

Sounds like a fairly standard Watcher/Slayer relationship to me.

Okay troops, I predict lots of fighting ahead.  To improve your odds of survival, I've restored everyone's life points to your full life score.

As for the vamp cops' next move, I considered having them find you at The Fish Tank (the mayor cast a special locator spell, but with a rare ingredient so he can't use it again). But some of you may prefer to stay put. Or some may want a change of scenery.

So what would you prefer?

Option 1) Vamp cops find you at The Fish Tank forcing a relocation after the fight.

Option 2) Vamp cops investigate the building where the fight with the mercenaries happened (the sound of gunfire drew their attention, but they had to wait for the sun to go down).  You go after them there and The Fish Tank remains a secret.

I'd prefer #2. After all, the locator spell is looking for our current location, not our base.

That is, it's probably looking for Annabelle in particular. (locate the Slayer is a lot easier then 'locate a vampire')

So we can lure then to wherever she is.
