Re: OCC Thread

In response to the Unisystem in the dice roller statement.  It uses the rules of 1's and 10's Mike.

Eh. That's not a terrible thing. Though it might not be what this GM wants.

Re: OCC Thread

It's not a bad thing.  But it's actually only an optional rule when it comes to cinematic games classic uni uses it by default.  And since the GM said rules were basically the default minus the stab/slashing house rule I assumed it's not his intention.

Re: OCC Thread

I just figured out how to adjust the dice roller so it defaults to d10, won't have to worry about the d20 mistakes anymore.  It also now inserts a +0 in the modifier section for some reason, but you can just type over it with your appropriate stat number with any modifiers.

Not very experienced with the 1s and 10s rule, so I'd prefer not to incorporate that.

That thought crossed my mind, but I figured Mike would prefer to stay indoors and not burst into flame. ;)

"Live or die by her own choices, Mike said."

Pretty sure that came down pretty firmly on 'die.'

Re: OCC Thread

Everybody gets two experience points.

And everybody gets 1 heroic drama point for the Bringer battle.  Bringers aren't the strongest enemies out there, but they are no slouches in the combat skill department.

Re: OCC Thread

Before we move on to the next episode, does anyone wish to spend any experience points on attributes or skills ?   Not allowing any spending on qualities yet.

Let me know, skill and attribute costs are listed in the combat notes and rules thread.

That's okay.  And May is right around the corner.

Unfortunately it appears Merry and Daniel are no longer with us, I've advertised for two replacements.

Re: OCC Thread

Not necessary in this case.  Sneaking past someone is a dexterity plus acrobatics or crime (whichever is higher)then gets compared to the brains score of whoever you are sneaking past.

Even if Mike rolled a 1, he would sneak past an ubervamp under normal circumstances since they're brains score is nothing to brag about.

Re: OCC Thread

So I am a little confused on where the cops and police come from. In the series I thought the town was deserted by all the humans except for Buffy's group.  Hence Andrew and Anya raiding the abandonded hospital.  No complaints, I just might have suggested a different course of action if I thought we needed to worry about the police and stuff.  For future reference, is everyone still in town?

Re: OCC Thread

Well, apparently, the change in history didn't bury the entire town like it did in canon.
