"Guess I'll find out how much of a hit it's taken. If it's completely empty, I won't be having breakfast, I guess."

Mike goes to check on whether or not the blood supply of the hospital still exists.

Re: Episode 1-7
Emilia and Annabelle make it to the hospital cafeteria and find both the refrigerators and the dry foods well stocked.

Meanwhile, Mike finds the blood bank has not been touched. The remaning vampires in town haven amazingly not raided it yet.

Re: Episode 1-7
Mike helps himself to one of the freshest bags, by labeling.

Then he takes more with him. He'll want a steady supply till they get out of town. Even for one with a soul, the hunger was NOT to be taken lightly.

Re: Episode 1-7
Annabelle takes stock of what's available in the hospital cafeteria.

"Right then, let's get something to eat.  But we'd best take it on the run, we need to get out of town before sunset."

She glances at the book in Emilia's hands.

"And don't lose that book.  It's our entire occult library at the moment. We had a nice set earlier, but the police confiscated it."

Re: Episode 1-7
Emilia took stock of the supplies, Hospitals clearly were not designed for those on a diet, she looked through the supplies and started up the stove, "Annabelle sweetie just put about a dozen eggs in some boiling water." Boiled eggs served a double purpose, one they were fairly nutritious, secondly they would bung everyone up so no uncalled for bathroom stops.  She removed a couple of tins of tuna, and started to slice a lettuce that didn't seem as brown as some of the others she added a tomato to the mix. The bread was serviceable, although it looked a little processed, "I'm not sure this bread has ever even seen wheat before." She said as she was preparing a dozen tuna mayo and salad sandwiches. She looked up at Annabelle "Can you see if they have any Tupperware or clingfilm we can use to wrap these up." She moved to where the fruit was stored, she always wondered what hospital food looked like before the kitchen got hold of it... apparently it was usual food, probably through some dark mystical arts they turned it into the sludge they gave the patients.

Re: Episode 1-7
Annabelle looked disappointed.  With no watchers or slayer to monitor her, she was looking for an opportunity to break her strict SIT diet.  But this was no time to argue, she did as Emilia suggested and boiled a dozen eggs.

"Graham should have no complaints, this will be a king's feast compared to his usual meal.  What's that thing that passes for food that soldiers eat out of a plastic bag?  Oh yes rations, that's it."

After a couple of minutes of looking she finds the suitable packing supplies.  "Here you are dear, tupperware containers, and I found some large paper bags to pack it all in. No if we can find some beverages, we should be all set.  This should be plenty for Graham, you, and me. If we're lucky Michael found his brand of nourishment in the blood bank."

Re: Episode 1-7
"So what's the deal with Michael how come's he's not trying to bite our necks or anything?" She asked as she started to pack everything away, she shuddered as she thought about the vampire gobbling down blood bags, he was probably rolling around in it or what ever vampires did.

Re: Episode 1-7
"He's a vampire with a soul, so he realizes biting humans is wrong."
Annabelle said as she helped Emilia pack the food, then found a few bottles of juice to add to their supplies.

"But he still needs blood to survive. I wouldn't recommend cutting your finger in front of him.  The sight of fresh human blood may make him lose control.  It would be like waving alchohol in front of someone trying to stay sober. Come on, let's get going."she said as grabbed a couple of bags of the now packed food and headed towards the cafeteria exit.

"Yea had an uncle like that." Emilia says helping Annabelle with the food, "Right I'm going back to our room to get changed, especially if we are going to be running heels aren't the best" She said with a smile...

Once in the room Emilia changed into a loose short skirt to allow for ease of running and some white trainers she had brought just in case she got any chance to go to a gym... fat lot of luck... and a simple pull over. Then repacked her clothes "Are we moving out guys?" She asked packing the 'apparently' only mystical tomb they owned into her handbag.

Re: Episode 1-7
"Wish I had something to change into."Annabelle said, thinking out loud when Emilia went to change clothes.  She looked down at her trainers, the only thing she was wearing that was actually hers.  The clothes she wore to Sunnydale were in bad need of a washing and also in the hands of the police, along with everything else the group had previously gathered.

Emilia stepped out a few moments later and shouted if they were going.  "You heard her people!  Time to go!  Sunset is fast appoarching!  Emilia and I are going to our car.  And we've got food!"she said as she started in the direction of the parking garage.

Re: Episode 1-7
Fifteen minutes later the group is out on the road and approaching the Sunnydale city limits.

Graham, Mike, and Buffybot in the lead in the police car, with Emilia driving her and Annabelle in the rental car behind them.  Mike is sitting up in the back with the blanket covering his head and shoulders, sunset is just one minute away. Graham tossed some first aid supplies in police cruiser trunk along with a cooler containing Mike's blood supply, while all the food Annabelle and Emilia packe is in the back seat of the rental car.

Next turn will take them to the city limits and likely a police blockade.

Mike muffled out...

"Don't engage the cops till sundown. I'm probably going to have to take a lot of bullets once we get there..."

Unfortunate, but he can see no way around it.

Both cars turned the corner and slowly approached the Sunnydale city limits.

And as they approached they saw nothing blocking their path.  Not a single police cruiser much less a blockade.

The sun has now set.

Re: Episode 1-7
Mike tested a hand to make sure the sun was really down. He wouldn't come out of his blanket till he was SURE he wouldn't get burned...

Once he could wave his hand around without that stinging sensation of 'oops', he'd take the blanket off.

"Head to Los Angeles...keep going straight through..."

The Turok Han, without them, would probably defeat the cops sooner or later...cops weren't equipped for 'gang related, PCP' on steroids...

Re: Episode 1-7
Annabelle stared in disbelieve at the lack of resistance in front of them.

She reached out the passenger window to shout at the police cruiser in fron ot her."Watch for booby traps!  There may be land mines in the road! Or snipers hiding on the side of the road!"

She quickly put her head back inside the car and rolled the window up. "Stay as low as you can while watching the road in case someone starts shooting at us."she said to Emilia as she slid down low in the her seat.

'Sweetie don't be so paranoid, I drove into town with no hitch, while it seems all the cops in town have gone a bit mental I'm pretty sure they wouldn't set land mines!", She said as she adjusted the wheel a little sharply, "You know I think I'm getting the hang of this driving malarky"

Re: Episode 1-7
Graham hits the pedal on the police cruiser and travels just a few feet before the trio are jolted he smacks into a wall. Luckily they were going slow enough that no one was injured.  Emilia hits her brakes in time to keep from slamming into the back of the police car.

As they look out the front window, there is still nothing there but just the open air.  But another attempt to hit the gas pedal only causes the wheels on the police cruiser to spin.

There is an invisible wall in front of them.

Re: Episode 1-7
Thinking they did run into a booby trap in the road, Annabelle climbs out of the second car to investigate.  Seeing nothing, she turns and bumps into the invisible wall.  She puts both hands up and starts to feel around, touching solid wall while seeing nothing.

"What the.....................it's a force field!!  A bloody invisible force field!!!!"she screams at the top of her lungs.

"...I don't even know who could've had the magic to put up a forcefield like that. The most surprising part is that it's keeping humans in too. I'd understand if it just kept me in, but..."

Hmmm.

Actually, he tries to feel the forcefield himself. Maybe supernatural beings can pass through?

Mike touches the forcefield, and it feels like he's touching solid wall.

This supernatural wall is keeping everyone inside.

Re: Episode 1-7
Emilia got out of the car, "Darling this sucks! Seems things can get in but not out," She picked up a stone and threw it at the invisible wall, "Well looks like we are stuck in Sunnyville" She sighed, "SO what now? I would rather not be stuck against an invisible wall and a monster." She said with a sigh, mean while her head was calculating something.

Re: Episode 1-7
Annabelle pounds her fists on the invisible wall.  "Let us out, blast you! Let us out!"

Finally she stops pounding, her hands very red.  She looks at the rest and says suprisingly calmly;"We're trapped in here with all those Turok-Hans which now have the run of the town.  We'll be dead before sunrise."

At the high school:

Pan the camera on the front entrance to the high school.  All is quiet.  Then you hear a growling, it gets louder and louder until......

Turok-Hans come pouring out the front doors.  Lots of them, no longer trapped by the
and they are looking for fresh blood.
