Re: Episode 1-10

One lone Turok Han? He should be able to handle this. Learning from his last mistake, however, he waits, not AT the door way, but a solid 4 feet away from it. He wants to see if this guy can enter. There'll be no reaching through to grab him this time.

Re: Episode 1-10

The Turok-Han charges towards the front porch.

BLAM!  BLAM!

Both officers shoot (thus waking up Emilia upstairs).  Both bullets hit.  The ubervamp shrugs them off, and continues his charge, making it to the porch.  He's still alone, no other Turok-Hans appear.

The monster quickly glares between Annabelle and the cops, deciding who go after first.

OCC:Combat thread time for Annabelle and anyone else who wants to join in.  The Turok-Han is on the porch  and focused on Annabelle and the cops, he hasn't tried to enter the house yet.

Re: Episode 1-10

Mike tells the rest to, "Get behind me, and stay there. Also, if you haven't notices, bullets don't do much to vampires."

Mike continues taking point...no matter which way he goes, Mike is ready to intercept him and continue the battle. However, he wants to see if this Turok Han can actually enter uninvited...

(Essentially, once he tries to enter, I'm going to switch to combat thread. If he can't, blocked by 'invisible walls' of the invitation rule...at that point, killing him is optional.)

Re: Episode 1-10

Annabelle decides to take Mike's advice.  She tries to stay of of the Turok-Han's reach and get inside the house.  Hopefully everyone can stay alive long enough for another spell casting.

But the Turok-Han has other ideas.  Batting his right arm out he punches one cop, knocking him over the porch railing, he lands on the ground.  Then before anyone can register that, the primitive vampire bats out his left arm, punching the other cop and sending him over the opposite porch railing.  Both cops are unconcious, possibly dead.

The Turok-Han then reaches forward, grabbing Annabelle by the throat.

Then pulling the captive Slayer in training with him, he steps through the doorway and into the living room with no trouble whatsoever.

OCC:Combat thread time for everyone.  The Turok-Han is in the living room, holding Annabelle by the throat.  You'll get no help from the cops, they're out of this fight. Turok-Hans aren't bound by the invite rule (I think it was ep 7-11 where one crashed right through Buffy's front door and was stopped in the middle of the living room by Willow's magic forcefield.)

Re: Episode 1-10

The Turok Han decided to grab Annabelle. Mike decided to make him unhand the lady and toss him out of the house. Literally. Grabbing the turok han from behind while he was busy with Annabelle, he then sends him FLYING out the door, to land unceremoniously on his hind quarters several yards away out on the front lawn.

Annabelle's strategy was painfully simple: Get the blood hell out of the monster's grasp.  She grabs the Turok-Han by the wrist, trying with all her might to pry his hand off her throat. She has no luck, but the creature released his grip on her as he went flying out the door way.

Mike follows the vampire's flight path, and meets him outside the house.

"Now that we've taken it outside, let's do this properly."

"So much for additional beauty sleep. Buffybot took a quick glance at the cops. ".............."Why would a lone Turok-Han would want to come out here? Clearly with the sunrise appearing soon. A deathwish? Maybe however action first and questions later. "Right behind you Mike." the robot says as she follows him out the door and lands an easy blow on the downed primitive vampire.

Meanwhile upstairs, Emilia jumps out of bed at the sound of the gunshots and looks out the window, seeing another Turok-Han.  Time to get the spell set up again, luckily she already had that vial of blood Mike donated.

OCC: Back to the combat thread.  The Turok-Han is down on the fron lawn, Mike and Buffybot out there with him, Annabelle is still in the living room, free of the monster's grasp. I covered Emilia's move since her having to get out of bed first is obvious.

Re: Episode 1-10

They're going to need some extra firepower on this one, this Turok-Han may the most powerful one they've encountered.

"Hold on!  I'm going to get some weapons!"Annabelle shouted as she ran upstairs; her objective to get the flare gun and their last grenade to use on the monster. She reached the top floor, found the grenade and flare gun, and raced back downstairs and outside.

Getting out of bed Emilia looked around, "How you doing down there?" She shouted down the stairs as she rushed to pull her tee shirt down. Grabbing her fabulous black lipstick she looked around the scene she could possibly make the sign by the door, "Mike can you hold him out side a moment?" She asked

Running to the most accessible place she tried to start drawing on the floor.
She quickly drew the symbol again, now she just needed to coat it with Mike's blood supply to be ready.

Mike grabs the downed Turok Han before he has a chance to stand up. he then throws him straight up. As far as he can manage. As luck would have it, that's AMAZINGLY far up.

And then he tells the bot...

"If you can stake him before he hits the ground again, you win the prize."

"Now THAT I can do!"Buffybot grins at Mike as she attempts to position herself between the Turok-Han and the ground. "That is going to be interesting."

The Turok-Han travels several yards up before maxing out and plummeting back down again.  The roboslayer plunges her stake into his heart before he hits the ground and..........

He crashes to the ground, still solid.  This Turok-Han doesn't stake easily.

Back to the combat thread, Mike and the Bot are in the same position: standing over a downed but still solid Turok-Han.  Annabelle is back outside armed with the flare gun and grenade.  Emilia has the circle drawn, now she has to cover it in Mike's blood.

Re: Episode 1-10

Mike frowned.

"Let's try that again. Stake him harder this time. Or better yet, stake him while he's falling. Gravity might help shove the stake in further."

And with what he thought was an expert grab, he tried to grab and give the Turok Han another mighty toss into the sky.  But the primitive vampire has other ideas as he rolls out of the way of Mike's grasp, and snaps back to his feet.

He evades Buffybot's attempt to put another stake to his heart as he reaches towards Mike.

He grabs Mike with both hands around the neck, then with all his Turok-Han might, twists Mike's neck. CRACK! Mike feel the most pain than he ever has in his undead existence.  The ubervamp releases his grip on Mike and turns to Buffybot.

"Got the grenade and the flare gun Emila!  Scream when you're ready to cast the spell again!"Annabelle shouted on the way back down.

Reaching the front lawn, Annabelle prepared to pull the pin on the grenade and hurl it at the Turok-Han, but realized that would be impossible with all three engaged in closed combat. She stayed back a few feet, waiting for an opening, othewise ready to dodge if the vampire came her way.

Once Emilia called out the spell was ready, they would have to lure the beasty inside.

Emilia squirted the injection of Mikes blood around, 'Mike once i'm done here you better get clear, Buffy get ready to lure it over here." She said in a commanding voice, she then stepped back and got ready to cast the spell

"I'm ready when you are!" She said ready to start the spell as soon as the vampire was in place.

OCC:Back to the combat thread.  Mike takes a whopping 38 points of damage, but the vampire has released his grapple hold on Mike.  This vamp's not a lightweight. Spell is ready to cast, you need to lure the vampire into the magic circle.

Re: Episode 1-10

"Hey big boy over here!" She yelled at the ubervamp, waving her arms

"Oh my God."Annabelle whispered.  She'd never seen Michael take an injury of that magnitude.  She gave in to her fear.
For about 1 second, then pulled herself together.  Time try the bait, it worked before.
She quickly put the grenade and flare gun in her pocket, then once again she ripped off her bandage, waving the blood in the ubervamp's direction.
"Here boy!  Get the blood!  Get the blood!"she shouted as she bolted off at top speed towards the house.

Mike first had to painfully unsnap his neck back into its proper position. He had to make sure it'd heal correctly, as it soon would.

Once his head was sitting properly on his shoulders again...well, he knew about the spell that might vaporize this guy, since...he KNEW he'd done very close too his best, and the turok han had shrugged it off like it's nothing. Mike prepares to throw him into the circle of death once he's close to it...

"Sometime when it rains it pours...."In Buffybot's case she attempted to weaken this super-sized headache of a Turok-Han. Planning to toss him into the circle. Might end up being a tall order even for Buffybot.

The Turok-Han blasted off after Annabelle, not paying any attention to the others.
He was faster than the others of his kind.  So much faster that Annabelle never made it to the front porch.  The ancient vampire wrapped his arms around her neck, then he went after the blood.

No not the blood on the bandage, after all the girl had so much more blood in her body.  He sank his teeth into Annabelle's neck and began to drink as she screamed at the top of her lungs.

OCC: Annabelle takes 33 points of damage.  Emilia, you can have your drama point back since your roll is void, the vamp never made it to the circle.  There will be no attempted tossing of the vamp this round since he is nowhere near the circle (he's on the front lawn, circle is in the house) Oh and by the way;SAVE ANNABELLE!!!.

Re: Episode 1-10

Emilia stumbled at bit seeing her friend being devoured by the Turok-Han froze for a second still ready to cast but not seeing how she could.

Seen only one way to get the vamps attention she dropped the book ran forward and  kicked him in the fork before running from immediate vicinity.  The ancient vampire stopped feeding on Annabelle as he howled in pain.

Mike threw caution to the wind, dangerous as it was, and everything seemed to narrow down to his target and staking him. Pulling out his wooden stake, he shoved it good and hard through the back of the ribcage of the turok han who'd just tried to snap his neck...THOK!  The vampire growled in pain, but offered no resistance, he was an easy target since Emilia's attack left him frozen in pain, but he didn't dust.

Mike drove the stake in a second time.  THOK!  Once again, the ubervamp growled in pain but didn't dust.

Mike drove the stake in a third time.  The charm.  WHOOSH!!  He exploded in a cloud of dust, leaving Annabelle bleeding but alive.

OCC: Vamp is dust.  Back to the regular thread.

Mike acknowledged Emilia first, "Well done. Not sure I would've had the opportunity I did if you hadn't done that. But Annabelle's in a lot of danger still. She could still die..."

He also felt a rippling of some kind of mystical energy...

"I have no idea what that was, but some sort of magic just rippled."

"Wonder why that one was so tough...obviously, he must've been a leader, strength tends to rule, but...for all that, he still wasn't intelligent enough to talk. Well, I know there's about 20 of these guys left, from the fact I saw 50 in the gym, and we've killed about 30. So we're far from done at wiping this threat out."

"Well, that's progress.  Perhaps you can find a Turok-Han detection spell to confirm that estimate."she said to Emilia.  "Someone should really see about the policemen.  In fact, just call for some emergency medical personnel to attend to all of us. You should still be able to ring them inside of Sunnydale."she finished, her voice seemed to be getting stronger, rather than weaker.

Emilia smiled "I'll begin looking but haven't found a reference to these Turokan's the closest I've seen has been a reference to very old vampires, there was one a few years ago apparently called Heinrich Joseph Nest, who's features seemed to have altered similar to those of the Turokhan, it's possible that they are just really really old vampires, there is another reference to a vampire that could withstand staking called Kahkistos, but I don't really have enough information or Knowledge yet. Let me sit down with this book, and any more we might be able to find might have a few answers for you."

(OCC: got 2 exp can i spend them on Occultisum since Emilia has spent most of her time since the start of this learning more about the Occult world.)

At Annabelles suggestion she left her wounded friend and went to look at the policemen.

As she inspected the police Emilia countered "Yea but this Vamp your grandaddy was the only one to look like these guys, he's one of the oldest vampires on record according to this book, he started to look like the Turokhan, and from what I'm given to understand these Turokhan have been in the Hell-Mouth since the dawn of time... so.... maybe that's what happens to vampires when they live for ever, I doubt there's much good conversation in the hell-mouth so they went feral same way a human would left in a isolated environment for a long time although in this case we are looking at thousands of years." She shrugged "It's just a theory"

Half an hour later, the paramedics were called and have now come and gone after collecting the two wounded cops, and doing some more first aid on Annabelle.

The police chief also arrived and said he couldn't spare any more men at the moment, but they should be safe for now since sunrise is coming soon.

The four of you are now alone.  Less than five minutes until sunrise.

"I'm in the same boat more or less as Mike."However the Police Chief's news wasn't reassuring at all. But Buffybot understood the need for his officers to attempt to stabilize Sunnydale even if it a losing cause. She did assist in assisting any of the injured cops before they made their 'strategic withdrawl' but like it or not they are on their own. Hopefully with the rising sun in play Buffybot thought about making a couple of stop to a couple of the old stomping grounds....
