"There are three bedrooms upstairs and one downstairs."The chief looks at the other three cops.  "Rivers, you stay here and guard our guests while the three of us fan out and check to be sure no one is here who shouldn't be."

Five minutes later, the chief and the two cops return.  "It's all clear. There's food in the kitchen, at least enough to get you through the night  Rivers and I are leaving now, but these two officers are going to stay here with you all night.  Try to get some sleep."

The chief and the other cop depart, leaving the four of you and two cops in the house.

Emilia looked around the house "Two cops a damaged android and a member of the fang pack." She sighed, "Right well food it is, Annabelle what would you like?"

"Probably asking too much for them to have some fresh blueberries with low fat yogurt which is what's on my mind right now."Annabelle said following Emilia into the kitchen.  "If they have any kind of real fruit, I'll take that. After our late night snack, let's grab two bedrooms upstairs. If two policeman are guarding us for the night, I see no reason to sleep in shifts."

She shouts in the direction of the living room"Michael, are you going to sleep now or stay up for a while longer?"

Mike says about what one might expect him to say, which is, "I'm not gonna be all that sleepy till the sun rises. Of course, when that happens, I'll want to sleep till sunset if I can."

"Right then.  Emilia and I are gong to retire after we have our late night snack."she shouts back in Michael's direction.

"Feels more like a lite breakfast, it's morning London time.  I'm all messed up."she says to Emilia.

Meanwhile in the living room, the two police officers grab a chair, one closest to the front window, the other on the opposite side of the room.

"You two want go get some rest?  We've got this place covered and we're going to stay up until sunrise."one policeman says to Mike and Buffybot, somehow managing to keep a neutural expression and not comment on Buffybot's exposed circuitry.

Mike smiles at that.

"Well, I always worked the night shift myself. Kind of annoying, being a grave shift worker. But I agree our...top secret project here should power down so she can repair her circuitry."

Mike makes it sound like he's just got a job that forces him to work nights, and makes no comment on what it really is.

Buffybot looks at the rooms and picks one out for herself. Of course she traveled light she could've gone to her 'house' and got some additional outfits. The two other ladies needed to eat and sleep. Part of her was concerned about that. But that would wait because she wasn't in the mood to talk to the Chief. At least not yet but for now even when she sought out the Turok Han and met her current team. She knew that she couldn't be the real thing for long. Hopefully she can become her own woman. But for now she hears Mike talking about the 'Top Secret' she knew what he meant. It didn't matter to her. They have a mission and she'll see it though. She goes back to her room and to reflect on what is happening.

Emilia prepared the late night snack and ate sparingly, she had to watch her figure, mind you she was getting a good work out over the last two days. As an after thought she took some spoons and knives from one of the draws and took them up to the room. "Just a little precaution" She said as she got to the bedroom door she hefted her rather heavy suitcase with her and laid it on the bed, "Annabelle sweetie take your pick" She smiled as the suitcase almost exploded from the clothes packed inside, "Just going to have a little precaution." She said selecting one of her bras she walked over to the bedroom door an hung it precariously off the door knob then proceeded to put the knives and spoons she had collected in one of the cups.

"Doorknob turns, cutlery falls out, we wake up." She said with a simple smile to Annabelle.

Annabelle raises both eyebrows."Clever."she said with genuine admiration.  "I'll take the next bedroom and rig my door the same."

Annabelle grabs a blue top and black pair of pants from Emilia's suitcase.  "Thank you kindly Emiila.  This will do for now. Looks like you packed enough to stay on holiday for a month."

Annabelle steps out in the hallway, then sets up her homemade doorknob alarm the same way Emilia did before stifling a yawn. "I'll see you in the morning Emilia.  It's been a brutally long day."

Annabelle and Emilia retire for the evening.

Buffybot shuts down.

Mike stays in the living room with the two cops.

Hours pass, nothing happens.

It's now 1:30am

One of the cops gets up to head for the kitchen.  "I'm going to make some more coffee.  You guys want some?"


OCC: Mike and Buffybot's life points have been adjusted to reflect the hours of regeneration/healing.

As one cop goes to make coffee, the other looks out the window. "Oh ****!  More of those weird looking Nosferatu type vampires coming this way!  One, two, three, four!!  There's four of them!!"

The other cop rushes to the living room, and both then rush out the front door.

There are four ubervamps coming up the walkway towards the front door.  Both cops draw their pistols and open fire.

BLAM!   BLAM!

Two ubervamps take a hit, but they all keep coming, they're about halfway down the walkway to the front door now.


Meanwhile upstairs, everyone has now been awakened from the sound of the gunshots.

OCC:Combat thread time for Mike. The cops will get to shoot again first before he attacks, then he's got initiative over the four ubervamps.  Everybody else is now awake on the second floor, and will be able to join in the fight next round once they get downstairs.

Woken with the gun shots Emilia pulled her eye mask off quickly, shdashing to the window she saw the ubervamps approaching, she rummaged through her bag and pulled out her sand and the tomb. "lets hope this works." She said to herself quickly reading through the spell before the vamps arrived. "Hope I got it... ANABELLE!" She yelled,

Annabelle springs out of her bed at the sound of the gunshots.  She was wearing nothing but her underpants and the Sunnydale PD t-shirt.  She quickly looks out the window to see the incoming Turok-Hans, then hearing Emilia call her name she rushes out in the hallway, but not before grabbing her wooden stake and holy water filled syringe.

"Curse us for not setting up this spell before!  We've could of taken some of Michael's blood and made the circle, now we'll need to procure the blood of a Turok-Han if we want it to work!"Annabelle shouted.  Seeing that Emilia already had the sand and the book, she shouted "Let's go!"as she lead the way downstairs.

Both girls made it to the living room, to see Mike standing in the doorway while the two cops were already outside opening fire.

Right behind the girls was Buffybot who was reacctivated by the sound of the gunshots and also made it downstairs.

Each cop fired on a Turok-Han.  BLAM!  BLAM!  Both bullets hit, but did little to slow down the ubervamps. Each vampire reached the cop that fired on them and nailed their respective cops with a kick.

Mike's strategy, for the moment, was fairly simple:Take point at the doorway, and make sure the Turok Han couldn't get around him. Using the doorway as a chokepoint would prevent them from using their superior numbers against him, and from there, he can simply punch the lights out of whichever one of them decided to try their luck first.

It'd be nice if this house counted as inhabited so they couldn't actually enter, but Mike wasn't about to rely on that. There were too many ways around the invitation rule.

But Mike's punches failed to connect with the other two Turok-Hans, these seemed a bit more skilled then most he had faced.  His usually impressive defense also failed him as both Turok-Hans each grabbed one of his arms and did a double ubervamp toss, that sent Mike doing his Superman impression as he traveled six yards in the air,finally crashing on the front lawn.

OCC: Mike takes eight points of damage from the double vamp toss.  He can snap back to his feet quickly with no penalty (usually takes two success levels with a dex plus acrobatics roll which he can accomplish before the dice is rolled).  I covered for Buffybot this round since all she can do is wake up and run downstairs.  Emilia's roll failed but it doesn't matter since you've already found the spell, but Emilia and Annabelle are missing one key ingredient; vampire blood which they must get before trying the spell.

"Stay here Emilia!  Start drawing the mystic circle on the floor with whatever you can find to write,  I'll get you some vampire blood to trace over it!"Annabelle shouts as she runs out the front door.

Seeing the two officers plagued by Turok-Hans, she turns to her right and stabbed her holy water filled syringe at the nearest ubervamp just as he was grabbing an officer by the neck, and injects the deadly liquid into is veins.

For a second it seemed nothing happened.  Then the Turok-Han let out an unholy scream that could be heard on the next street.  You can see the smoke coming out of the creature's mouth, and his undead flesh sizzling. He dropped to the ground, writhing in pain, but did not turn to dust.

Emilia grabbed her least favorite lipstick, vamp black Ugh... what was i thinking she muttered in her head as she could hear the melee going on downstairs, she drew the circle as best she could. Then as an after thought she ran to the door and quickly made a cross on the door with the lipstick she wasn't sure if it would do any good.

Buffybot powers up and she gets her barings as she got online. Once downstairs she sees the Turok Han overpower the cops.  She attempts to blindside them."So much for any additional beauty sleep. Ok Turok turkeys lights out!" She manages to nail the undead beast as his attention was focused on the policeman he was about to bite.  The ubervamp then drops the cop and gives his full attention to the artificial slayer.

Mike found himself being grabbed and thrown, like he typically did to his enemies. And he was most displeased when they used his favorite trick on him.

"Using my own moves on me? That's just not according to Hoyle."

But this was no game, for he redoubled his efforts against the Turok Han pair he was dealing with, succeeding in decking one and had a solid defense that enabled him to avoid both their attacks this time.

OCC: Back to the combat thread.  Two THs engaging Mike, one engaing Buffybot, one down but not dusted.  Both cops still alive so far. No roll necessary Emilia, you succeeded in drawing the mystic circle.

Annabelle steps back to the doorway and tosses the now empty syringe at Emilia."There's one down but not dust right here Emilia, get his blood!  I'm going to help Michael!"she shouts as she charges down towards the duo attacking Mike and misses a  kick at the nearest one as the Turok-Han evades her attack.

Buffybot is going to be the backup whatever the others are planning they need to do it soon. Her attention turns on the Turok-Han that dropped the cop nearest to her location. "It's showtime!" No, it's not as the primitive vampire easily avoids her attack, but she manages to evade his as well.  Both cops are now back on their feet and open fire on the ubervamp attacking Buffybot.  Blam!  Blam!  Both bullets strike, but don't bother the creature much as he remains focused on Buffybot.

Getting up and running down the stairs she saw the feral beast, fighting back her personal fear she grabbed anything sharp she could find and made a stab at the beast prepared to defender herself against the reprisals of the creature. But this one was still incapiciatated from his ingestion of holy water and offered no resistance to Emilia's blood procural.

Mike did his best to continue to deal with his two opponents, but perhaps he was thrown off a little this time, for it wasn't as clean and crisp as his last attacks. Perhaps it'd be enough anyway.  But it wasn't as both Turok-Hans avoided his attack, then one moved in with a judo flip that sent Mike to the ground again.
Both vamps looked down at him and seemed to be snickering.  They think it's really funny putting Mike on the ground repeatedly.



OCC: Back to the combat thread.  Mike takes 7 points of damage and is on the ground again, but can jump to his feet again with no roll.  Emilia no has the blood she needs and can put the vamp blood on the symbol this round.  Still three ubervamps up, the fourth still on the ground from the internal holy water attack.  Good guys have initiative.

"Scream like banshee when the spell is ready to go Emilia!  We really need it now!"Annabelle shouted as she kept her eyes on the Turok-Hans, just trying to stay alive and keep the undead duo distracted.  This is the first time she had seen two of the ubervamps handle Michael in such fashion.  That spell may be their only hope as she dodges a kick from on Turok-Han

Emilia ran back up the stairs to the symbol, "Bugger got to do more cardio, she said to herself as she panted at the top of the stairs, she ran to the symbol and placed the vamp blood in the correct place then looked back at the book to see what to do next.  Now that the circle was made, the next step was to get the vampires to stand in the circle.  Then you throw the green sand on them and say "Dust to dust" in Latin.  If it works, the vampires will be dusted.


"Yeah, yeah. Yuk it up. Let's see you try THAT one again."

He was so fully intent on making sure they couldn't get any kind of attack past his defense that he was a little too careful on offense. He instantly stood up again, and continued. The Turok-Han seemed to snicker until he failed to nail Mike, but managed to evade Mike's attack.

Up on the porch, Buffybot also failed to score a blow, but managed to not get hit by the ubervamp.

The cop next to her, figuring out bullets weren't doing much, pulled out his baton and swung at the Turok-Han, missing as well.

The other cop was the only one to nail a bad guy as he smashed his baton on the still downed Turok-Han who is still recovering from the holy water ingestion.

OCC: Next round, no damage to the good guys who still have initiative.  Three Turok-Hans still up and fighting, one still recovering from internal holy water attack.  The spell is now ready to cast, but you have to get the vamps onto the mystic circle.

Mike's perfect defense last time gave him the ability to counterattack extremely effectively, hitting hard with furious punches and not leaving himself open much at all. It's one of the more graceful combinations he's done.

Both Turok-Hans feel their jaws crack as the ensouled vampire's fists connect and they fail to return the favor.  Mike is in the zone now.

Ok we need to aim this just right Mike!" Buffybot hitting another ubervamp to weaken him more for someone to toss them in to that circle.

Emilia ran back up the stairs to the symbol, "Bugger got to do more cardio, she said to herself as she panted at the top of the stairs, she ran to the symbol and placed the vamp blood in the correct place then looked back at the book to see what to do next.

"Annabelle sweetie get your bum up here!" She shouted down the stairs

"Right then. On my way."Annabelle shouted as she took off running from the two Turok-Hans and Mike, and stopped halfway down the walkway.  She then raised her shirt and ripped off her blood soaked bandage and waved it in the direction of the ubervamps, letting them catch the scent of what was on it.

"Here boy! Here boy!  Get the blood!  Get the blood!"Annabelle shouted as she then bolted like a bat out of hell towards the house.

The two ubervamps immediately forget about Mike and blast off after Annabelle.  She moves in a flash through the front door as the two primitive vampires are in pursuit, followed by the other two, who caught the scent of the blood and join the chase.

Annabelle pauses as she reaches the mystic circle where she drops the blood source, all four vampires dive into the circle, fighting over the blood bandage. All four of them playing a macabre game of Twister as they get tangeld in each other's limbs.  It won't take them long to figure out the better source of blood is Annabelle herself. And Emilia too.

OCC: Vamps are in the circle.  Spell casting time for Emilia.  Casting roll is willpower plus occultism skill.  Need at least four success levels for the spell to work like it supposed to. May want to spend a drama point.

She began chanting trying to ignore the gradmelee going on infront of her.

"Ohomona ratha usta venusta vympyr incendum!" She chanted reading from the worlds her Latin a little foggy as she hurled the green sand at the group of Turok-Hans in the circle.


Mike knew what the plan was, and he wasn't about to follow the enemies into the circle that was drawn. All he was going to do was set up a blockade (and push them back in) if they got enough of a clue to try and jump out.

But the ubervamps were still too busy fighting over the blood source to think of anything else. Then it happens.  The Turok-Hans all freeze and let out a howl of pain as if someone had staked them in the heart.

FOOM!  FOOM! FOOM! FOOM!  All four explode to dust. Then both the vampire dust and the green sand turn to mist and quickly evaporate into the air leaving nothing behind except the magic circle.

OCC: All Turok-Hans dusted by the spell.  Back to the main thread for everyone. 

Emilia looked at her hand then at the circle her heart began to flutter as she felt a small rush of power. "Cool Beans!" She said with a slight amount of astonishment, "Mike are you bleeding? Really want to try that again on the next group." She giggled a little hysterically.

Mike shook his head.

"Can't say I am. The turok han thought it was funny to try their new jujitsu moves on me. Not so funny anymore."

Emilia smiled at him "Well next time please just put some in this and give it to me." She said handing him the small syringe. "Right better look after the cops are they alive?" She asked

Mike shrugged, and poked himself with the syringe, siphoned off some blood, and left it with the two magettes. It's the least he could do to keep them safe when he couldn't be pounding the faces of their enemies in.

Emilia smiled as she took hold of the syringe "Perfect." With that she went to the book to see if she could find some more cool spells to use. "Annabelle do you know of any other spells... or where we can learn about them?" She asked.

"Oh crumbs.  My bandage disappeared like a fart in the wind along with everything else."Annabelle headed for the nearest bathroom, then returned moments later having found a fresh one.

"Good show with the spellcasting."she said to Emilia."If you want to find more spells, the first thing we need is more occult books.  We had a nice supply of occult books collected from the Slayer's house, but they were stolen along with the only set of presentable clothes I had by the imposter police department."

"Well Michael, you must admit Emilia and I leaving to procure the magical supplies was a good thing. Without that spell we would be dead, and you would be filling someone's dust pan.  This was a superior breed of Turok-Han we faced tonight. And an inferior breed of Turok-Han is formidable enough."

Mike shook his head. "Oh, I wasn't as outgunned as all that. I'd say the Turok Han were individually about as skilled as I was. We must've been facing leadership tonight. Still, I've been surrounded before. Left to myself, I would've gone for a chokepoint, then taken them one at a time."
