Re: Episode 2-6

This was want Buffybot favored. Hopefully the Police Chief would be here. She wanted to know everything and take revenge on the good cops that were wiped out. Perhaps here she can found out who or what was responsible for the barrier and destroy it so Sunnydale can be repaired. "Let's get to work!"

Re: Episode 2-6

Mike was careful to be stealthy himself...he was usually better at hiding then his friends, and there was always a chance he'd avoid detection while they did not. He was prepared for that too.

(If stealth is required, I'll roll when necessary)

Re: Episode 2-6

Even though they are being careful to avoid attention Aaron carries his bow with arrow nocked and ready to shoot. That there are only 2 police cruisers left at the station bodes well for their chances. "Ok, so our first priority is the supplies. Other than that I think we should keep an eye out for information on what is happening here. We could also consider sabotaging those vehicles, so they have less mobility and flexibility." Aaron just reminds them, as it is best for everyone to know what the objective is. "Anyone see a good way in? The front door seems like a bad choice."

"Aaron has a good idea.  Let's sabotage those two police vehicles. If we have to make a quick escape, they'll have less chance of catching us.  Annabelle whispered as she changed direction and headed towards the two police cars.

Re: Episode 2-6

As the foursome approach, you see no side entrance to the station.

The only two ways in are to go through the front entrance, or circle around the back to check for another entrance there.

The two police vehicles are unlocked and easily accessible.

OCC: No stealth rolls requried just yet.

Mike thinks a moment, and...

"Cut the breaklines on the police cruisers. The car accident probably won't kill a vampire, but they'll definitely feel it for a while."

"Right then.  I only have a wooden stake, not suitable for cutting brake lines. I'll stand watch. I think Aaron brought a sword didn't you? Annabelle whispered.

I also have no idea where the blooming brake lines are, but they don't need to know that. she thought to herself.

Re: Episode 2-6

"Good call. I've got my sword, true. But I think that this may be more useful under a car." He pulls out a small pocket knife puts down his bow and slides under the car. He feels around for the hydraulic cables and carefully cuts them. One for the rear wheels and two more for the front. Pulling himself out from under the first cruiser he quickly moves over to repeat the process on the second. "Ok. That's all I can do from here. If you want something more complicated, you'll have to get a mechanic." He keeps his voice low the entire time, so as to avoid calling attention from inside the station and slips the pocket knife back into his jacket.

Re: Episode 2-6

"Good show Aaron." Annabelle whispers, looking in the direction of the front door.

"Well now, do we go through the front entrance or sneak around back?  Or split into two groups and cover each?  We'd best decide quickly.  This isn't the time or the place to hold an extended debate."

"Back entrance first. The worst case scenario here is the remaining vamps calling reinforcements. We want to kill these quickly and silently."

Mike starts looking for exactly that.

Mike leads the rest of the group around the back and does indeed find a back entrance to police headquarters.  The back entrance is unlocked.

There is also a back parking lot with three police cruisers.

Mike nods.

"Cut those brakelines too. Even if they catch on, it's still one less car to use."

Aaron nods his reply curtly. Carefully placing his weapons on the ground this time he removes his jacket as well. Don't want to scuff it too much. It doesn't take him so long with these three vehicles, as he is starting to get to know the layout of their undersides.

Once he has finished the work, he grabs his jacket and weapons. "Shall we go in then?"

"By all means." Annabelle says in reply as she opens the back door and steps in.

She freezes for a moment, listening for any alarms going off, in the event they have to make a hasty retreat.

No alarm goes off as Annabelle enters the police station.

No sign of video cameras either.

Mike says, "Let me take point. There may be magical alarms in here that react to normal people...but they won't react to vampires."

Mike, on that theory, leads the rest of the way.

Aaron follows Annabelle and Micheal through the doors into the back of the Police Station. His eyes roam around the room before him searching for threats.

Re: Episode 2-6

The four inch their way down the hallway with Michael in the lead.  No traps of any kind set off so far.

Then as you approach a corner, you stop at the sound of a noise.  You realize it's coming from a TV from somewhere around the corner and down another hall.  You hear some laughing and talking.  At least two presumably vampire cops (maybe more) are watching TV in a room down the hall, maybe a lounge or someone's office.

You also notice a sign on the wall with an arrow pointing straight ahead marked
"propery room".

OCC: Time to choose what way each character wants to go.  You can proceed to the property room where your supplies are likely stored with no problem.  No roll necessary if you do this. Or you can creep closer to the sounds coming from down the hall.  If you do that, you need to make a dexterity plus acrobatics or crime roll to sneak closer without being detected.

Tempted as Mike is to engage in battle, they sabotaged the cars. Let the car accidents soften them up first. He heads straight for the property room. Again in the lead, on the theory that magic alarms won't trigger for vampires like him.

Breathing slowly to try and force his heartrate down, Aaron follows Micheal towards the property room. He keeps checking over his shoulder though, just in case any of the TV watching vamps appear.

Annabelle headed towards the property room as well.  Thankfully, everyone was in agreement on which action to take.  Her wooden stake was in her hand ready for action, things were going smoothly so far.

Which of course means something's about to go wrong. she thought.

The group sneaks up to the police property room with no interference.  The door is unlocked, and they find their confiscated supplies in the middle of the floor.

Most everything else has been processed and sealed away in envelopes, bags, or boxes so you can't readily tell what else is in there.

Aaron looks around the room, taking in all the sealed boxes and bags. "There must be a sign in book around here somewhere." He immediately begins to search for some sort of sign in book, how else would anyone be able to find something in this?

Considering the nature of the Force, Mike checks to see if the Blood is still there. He figures vampire cops might just drink it all.

Buffybot inspects their now regained suppiles and makes sure nothing was tempered with. "If this place was totally empty we can confiscate THEIR stuff for a change. However I have the feeling that it won't be happening anytime soon."She did hope that someone can add something to the mix for her sake.
