Aaron nods. "I'll come along. As you say I need some more ammunition, and maybe I'll be able to keep you out of trouble." When she leaves he follows heading out into the daylight.

Episode 2-10
A few minutes later, Lance, Aaron, and Annabelle make it to the supermarket without incident.

A half an hour later, they arrive at back entrance of the nearest sporting goods store, leaving the two carts full of food supplies they just gathered out back. The police radio has been quiet, the vamp cops are apparently staying indoors at the moment.

The back door is locked, but nothing Annabelle's Slayer strength can't handle.

A moment later, they are inside the store.  There are the sleeping costs they need along with bows and arrows, crossbows, pistol crossbows, and plenty of knives of various sizes (no swords or axes, anything from pocket knife to big knife size).  There is also lighters, matches, and lighter fluid if anyone is planning on starting a fire.

OCC: Go shopping, you can grab anything you want from what's available from the above list.

After finding the cot section, Annabelle grabs a shopping cart and fills it with two cots, and some pillows and blankets.

"Now then, we've already got two cots at The Fish Tank, so everyone will have a place to sleep.  I wouldn't  recommend sleeping next to Michael though.  He'll be a pill about you snoring loudly when in fact his enhanced vampire hearing is just amplifying normal breathing."

She's heads over to the crossbow section.  After comparing the normal sized crossbow and the pistol crossbow, she shrugs and grabs them both.

Episode 2-10
Aaron quickly and knowledgeably selects appropriate arrows from the selection in store, enough for at least a few more encounters with the forces of darkness. Then he takes a crossbow for himself and enough bolts to last a long while. Figuring that having some backups is always a good idea he picks out a pair of long bladed knives with belt sheaths and attaches them to his belt. He places all the rest in one of the carts they have brought with them. With all the weaponry in it it looks like thy are trying to stock their own armoury, which isn't too far from the truth. "Are we all done here? I think the quicker we get finished the better. There are too many supernatural creatures running around Sunnydale these days for me to want to be out for too long."

"Right behind you!" Lance calls back as he is feeling the edge of a particular large knife he found that has a dragon carved on the handle.  He smiles and sheathes the knife and puts it in his jacket pocket for now.  As he is exiting behind the others he also grabs some lighters and a can of fluid.

"I think it behooves us to move on the vampire police force while we still have the daylight. Once night falls, they will be out in force and hunting us." Annabelle said, while sitting at the bar and loading an arrow into her newly acquired crossbow.

"Attacking police headquarters is out of the question.  If we attempted to set it ablaze from the safety of the sunlight, the vampires would almost certainly shoot us from the windows."

Lances listens intently as he goes through some knife exercises where he sits. "Just testing the balance." After a twirling movement of the new blade. he smiles and sticks the knife back in the sheath with force. He smiles toward the others. "I wouldn't mind getting some violence in before sundown."

"They can still travel in the underground tunnels.  If only we could set up a trap underground and lure some of them into it and reduce their numbers."  the Slayer says as she sits down the crossbow, and picks up the smaller pistol crossbow.

Hmm.

"Ideal would be a place where there's a fairly large gap in the underground to the sun above. Then, you cover that with a tarp or something and lure the enemy in. When they enter the killzone...block the exits and remove the tarp."

Buffybot glares at Lance. "Slicing and dicing isn't everything. Nor the only thing." While she was grateful for the spirit of the venture. It did have its downside. She went to sharpen the stake with one of recently procured knife. "Now with proper stakes we got an even stronger chance. I think the tunnels need exploring if their are gaps exploiting them should be the first thing."

Lance nods in agreement with Michael's plan.  Then he slowly turns to the bot.  "Yes your are correct. It isn't the only thing. However since you all are using stakes, I AM the only one to slice and dice. Is it a bad idea to try and use different weapons?  After all I think decapitation is on the table right?" he makes an indifferent look towards the bot and nods to the others. "So where are these tarps you speak of?"

"You're the Sunnydale tunnel expert Michael.  Can you think a moment, see if you can remember any underground locations that might be used for a suitable trap? The underground tunnels are a maze, we don't have the time search them one by one." Annabelle said, looking in Michael's direction.

Mike thinks about all the tunnel systems in Sunnydale he's been through, then it finally hit him which one they could use:

Not too far from the waterfront is a section of a storm drain tunnel without a roof which would make for a perfect trap if they can lure some vamp cops there.

Episode 2-10
Annabelle drums her fingers on the bar for a moment, then.....

"I've got a plan.  I'll be the bait.  I'll be at the the trap zone and I'll call from one of the police radios that I got lost in the tunnels and am now surrounded by a band of demons and am calling for help from the rest of you. I'll scream loudly that I'm in trouble.  The mayor indicated he wants me alive, so he'll immediately dispatch a team of vamp cops to save me then bring me back to him alive. Once the enemy arrives in the tunnel, you all pull the covers off and let the sun in."

She looks back in forth between the three men.  "One of you can be the bait if you like, but unless you can scream like a teenage girl, I'm the best candidate for making the threat seem real."

Buffybot shakes her head. "Yeah....it might be too convenient. Too much can go wrong. Wrong bait but right plan. I'd volunteer to play the bait if no one else step up. Sorry Annabelle you're too important for this."She then looks to Mike. "Ok Mike show me the trap zone. At your earliest convenience."
