Re: ooc

21:02, Today: Bruga Honeyfinder rolled 18 using 4d6, dropping the lowest dice only with rolls of 6,4,6,6. Is Bruga Pretty.

What a waste! But if the kind GM would allow me to sub this stat for another...

I think I rolled one other such 18 once.

NEED NEW OOC THREAD.

In reply to Bruga Honeyfinder (msg # 977):

hey, comeliness plays a part.  OK, same deal for all If you do not have a comeliness stat, roll 4 d6 and take the highest 3.  if that roll is higher then one of your lowest scores in any of the other stats replace it with that roll and put that lowest roll in comeliness.  Remember chr can add a bonus to comeliness.  Plus like i said, if you ugly, you ugly, which could play a roll in roll playing :)

Alright, my Comeliness roll doesn't change anything.

Bruga must have some dwarf blood, or he was enchanted. His non-remarkable appearance belies the fact that he is one of the strongest halflings who ever lived.

No problem, it was an attempt to aid your stats if possible but also to gain another piece of roll playing your characters may do.  what ever the bot says will stick.  Only Bruga got the nice bot roll.

Sorry guy's Munchkin madness took over the halls of my DM place.  Though it gives me ideas - Oh OK, I'll keep the Duck out of it and reduce the amount of Orcs.

In reply to Senuviel Alantir (msg # 993):

Just a check up on things:

Is the campaign going to Fast?  To slow?

am I giving everyone enough time to post?

Am I to detailed in each encounter?  not enough detail?

is it still an interesting campaign.   Do you want anything changed?

Do we have enough players?

Any ideas, comments or questions please let me know either PM or OOC - I want this to be a great campaign for all to enjoy :)

Re: ooc

MY thoughts as  a DM and player?

its always fun to have more players...some times you have to move on and NPC them, but in the long  run, most folks  can keep up.

Re: ooc

I'm enjoying a lot so far. Timing is good I don't feel rushy to post. As for players, I'm just not sure how many we are. It's Senuviel, Kree, Bruga and Maki, right? Then Claire is npc'd, is that so? The dwarves have abandoned us, haven't they? I think we are in a good number although we have no single class fighter and only one full healer who's an NPC for now, but I'm ok with that.

To be honest, the only thing I believe could be faster or bigger is the xp, I have this feeling of being stuck in the level, I know we post weekly and it takes more time to get xp in a pbf than at a table game but I think xp could come a bit faster or bigger, AD&D is an xp hungry game and I've just found out that being a multiclass in a pbf can be boring sometimes :p but hey! I love role playing Senuviel. :p

WEll...those are my 2 cents. ;) Thanks for running this great campaign for us, eh!

Re: ooc

Bruga is going whichever way "luck" takes him. The game seems episodic; it may be like starting a jigsaw puzzle that has no edge pieces.

As for XP, Bruga hasn't accomplished much.

Re: ooc

In reply to Maki (msg # 998):

Thanks so far, exp will be awarded as you go, yes i forgot to give you some for the last stuff (I think).

One bonus I will play out is, once you get enough exp, you auto to the next level without having to pay for training and HP will be rolled up to three times taking the highest.  This will compensate for NPC Clair and potential slow leveling.

Dying like I said earlier takes a bit to do that in hopes you enjoy your character and craft it's characteristics as you level.   You do not auto die at -1, you die if no one can stop your bleeding (bleeding out).  By either a cure spell, cure potion, binding of wounds in a timely manor or any type of spell tha some how restors you life or HP (like wish, polymorph ect....

I have more planned put but yes, I have to work through what the past GM set up so the setting flows a bit more later.  Slavers, yes, nasty stuff to come but again, tempered so this size and make up group has a chance at living and gaining much fortune and fame :)  possible war with gods, maybe an invasion of humanoids or even a dungeon crawl or three.  Of course it all depends on what the group decides to do/go.

The Dwarves faded out of your minds soo who know if they are around or not.  Chuckle, Yenchew and other NPC's you encounter should help to either keep you alive in tricky spots or guide you or even make it fun.   You may bump into a Dwarf again or not.

Fare to say that for now, that Spell Jammer ship will be a while if it occurs.
