Re: So it starts a new

In reply to Kree Quickshadow (msg # 57):

Every one else can also roll a D20 if they run up the steps after Kree but no matter what Bruga you will be a it behind the rest.

kree, you hit the top and keep going as you are right on his heals as he runs out the front into the ally way.   He is a fast bugger for as old as he looks.

To continue chasing him roll another d20 to see what happens.

The rest can too if they are still following you at a run.

since his boiw , doesn't  require   knocking a real arrow?..Kree will judge  if he can get a shot into him, if not   he  will chase more...

If Bruga knows the local layout, he attempts to go around where the old man might run to. He'll guess the old man will turn to his left.

In reply to Senuviel Alantir (msg # 61):

Kree, You can always shoot at the man, it will slow you down though if you stop aim and shoot else it is a -6 to hit shooting while running.

Bruga, roll percent to see how well you know the area

Senuviel, Bruga darts up the steps, catching up to you as you casually stroll up them.

Bruga pauses a moment to get his bearings at the top of the steps.

Kree is off chasing the old man though he looks to be fumbling with his bow as the old man who in fact turned left but is heading further into the ally way.

Actions, rolls.

Kree's bow, in his left hand  as always,  when he turns the  corner, he will  take a deep breathe   and raise hos  bow, he will try to bring the man  down by aiming  for his waist, the one part that  it will not matter  if he  ducks, jumps of  twists....and fire...

20:39, Today: Kree Quickshadow rolled 15 using 1d20. Bow shot.

In reply to Senuviel Alantir (msg # 64):

Kree you only fired one shot?  You could either fire another this round (bow has 2 shots/rd) or start running again.   I need damage rolled for the first arrow, it hit his back.

Senuviel studies the ally way and the builds once out

Kree sees his  arrow  Bite into the felow's back, he fires  another, then uses his well honed  running skills to  run down the wounded fellow ( or try to!)

Re: So it starts a new

In reply to Kree Quickshadow (msg # 67):

Kree's arrow bits deep into the old man, he stumbles a moment but continues on.  He runs into the third building down the ally way - the door was open.  It shuts as Kree rounds on the door.

-  Kree, you can try to charge and shoulder ram it, Stop and try to kick it in, stop and wait for Senuveil who is right behind you, keep running to the next building, give up and go home?  Ask Bruga for some tea :)

- Senuviel, the old man, wounded, makes it through the door as it closes in front of you and Kree.

You ran past a building on the right and one on the left.  there is, yup 10 buildings within this ally way before it ends at another main road.  For ease of Dming :)  you went into building #1 first, then out and chased the old man past Building #2 and #10 and #9 is across from you as he is in #3.

Bruga, what are you doing?

Kree  stops  at the Door  and tries to give it a  kick open, if it opens he will go into the  door, but he  will be stalking...not rushing in like a bull....

Re: So it starts a new

In reply to Bruga Honeyfinder (msg # 70):

Kree roll a d100.

Bruga, you are about a 1/4 way through the round about streets and you realize that it will be a bit longer to get "around" the block.  there are tiny passage ways a child, skinny teen or a 1/2 ling could fit through between each building but also you recall kobolds, goblins, even some elves and the rest of the "humanoids and monsters you do not want to mention" also could squeeze through these passages.

a 1/2ling jogging, now that will get some odd looks:

As Bruga jogs along, two halfling lasses come walking his way. He puffs out his chest, drawing their eyes, and eliciting sniggers. Chestfallen, he continues on his way.

Senuviel draws his sword and readies his shield, he nods at Kree, as soon as the elf kicks the door open, the warrior/mage carefully steps inside.

Re: So it starts a new

In reply to Kree Quickshadow (msg # 76):

Kree kicks the door down, not just open and as he steps aside to let Senuviel through two arrows fly out just missing both of you.

Senuviel you enter to hear a door close on the far side of the large room.   Obviously whoever shot those arrows knew you where there and ran after shooting them.

The room is large 20x20 making up the whole first floor.  there is a door to the right that the shooter may have run through (was just slammed shut) and a set of double stairs that wind up to the 2nd floor from the far wall (think The Clampets on Beverly Hillbillies front inside steps that hugged the wall going up).

Actions?

Kree runs to the door, nothing happens.

Senuviel guards the stairs looking for blood.  No blood.

Do you open the door, go up the steps, leave???
