Re: On the way there

Kree nodds Grimly,..If I am wrong, I will apologize to them, and we will be on our way...if i am wrong, there  will be  2 less slavers in this world, and  we may save whomever...or what ever is in the wagon..

Looking at Snare,...If you wish to come, You best keep up...you started this..... after he ties down his sheath, and tighterns the staps on his pack and quiver, he begins to Run  down the road, in the direction the wagon took....

In reply to Kree Quickshadow (msg # 267):

Clair shrugs looks to Bruga and Groddam, well I am not splitting this group up and runs after Kree n company.  Snare stays with Clair.

Remember the 1/2 ling and Dwarf are a bit slower and those in full armor are even slower so let me know how fats everyone is running and or if every one is running at the slowest one's pace (Clair)

Maki feels the hike was quite long, and he has his armor on, so he joins with Clair as they run after Kree.

In reply to Kree Quickshadow (msg # 274):

Kree and Senuviel catch up to the wagon.  no one is guarding the rear as you approach.

What are your actions.  It is still just ambling along at a slow pace.

You note the back does have double doors for easy opening and loading/unloading.  Chained up but no lock.

Kree says to Senuviel,  Stop them  , or walk along side..ask them questions...find out  where they are ehaded..whatever it takes  to give me time to look in the back of this thing....

The others, Kree hoped, would be  coming shortly,, He shouldered His  bow and  Crept  up as  fast as he was about, to latch onto the back, and begin to work the chains....

Senuviel cleans his throat and says: I'm looking for a man, an elf to be more precise. It is said he employs adventurers to secure his caravans, do you know such an elf? His name is Astar.

The elf  manages  to hang on, and tries to move the chains  about...a thought  crosses his mind as the wagon moves, and the voices  talk, he will use part of the chain, to pap on the back of the wagon.. two taps...three differant times..to see if there is  an answer..

oh my, protection for us?  We are just farmers bringing goods to market, why would someone want to broker a deal protecting us?  looks to the driver and back.   No, no Elf or that matter anyone but now you had offered or asked for giving us protection.

Chuckles,

Where is the rest of your group?  Or did you draw the short straw on this quest.

Kree you get a hold of the wagon enough to hang on but fail to get much of a grip on the chains this round.

Roll another d20 and 2 d100's for next round.

The group is about 4 rounds back yet, though visible if you looked.

he hritted his teeth as he hung on. All he wanted was to see inside, to make certain they did not make the same mistake as before....the thought sent the urgency through him , to hang on and fuss with the chains,..dammit...get them to stop!  he  grumbled to himselve.

Re: On the way there

Senuviel smiles a friendly smile. They're coming down the way, good sir. You see...there's a holy man with us in bulk armor, so he moves a bit slower due to the weight of it, also, there's a dwarf and a halfling cleric of Tymora, their short legs give them a hard time on a sprint, eh. I am Senuviel Alantir, their envoy for diplomatic matters, there's also a ranger with us, a fellow elf but he's probably around in the woods checking for enemies and scouting the area. Senuviel pauses a bit and then lets a smile go again. So you know nothing about this Astar os his business, well...I guess I just took your time then. I don't recall offering you any protective service lad, but if this is the case, I'm sure our holy champion will promptly agree in case your business is honest.

Next round - ding ding

Yes, that describes your bunch though you forgot about the dog sighs, I like dogs, well, we do not need any protection unless some crazed hungry horse or wild animal wants our grain n corn in the wagon.  He looks to the driver and back, smiles, Some ways back, there was what looked like a fight, bunch of blood and scattered remains of broken weapons and such plus some large tracks of something dragged about.  you might want to check that out smiles and shrugs his shoulders

Kree, you can try to get back on the wagon again

D20 and 2 d2100's please.

The group is 3 rounds away.
