Re: On the way there

Senuviel looks at Clair and then says: I have run out of spells for now, but tomorrow I'll have the means for it for sure. The elf then moves towards Kree. I've found this parchment inside the spellbook I took from their mage. Senuviel hands Kree the parchment.

OOC: scroll up a bit, eh! I've posted what's written in the parchment earlier today.

Kree...being  5'0" cannot wear any of the 'good' armor. He takes the Parachment and reads, his eyes  narrow as his teeth clench,..I am going  to make him suffer a day...for each day it takes for us to find him....

Re: On the way there

In reply to Kree Quickshadow (msg # 143):

OK so i can updates character sheets, Maki and Groddam have a really good looking in shape shields (magical per Clair)

Bruga has the glowing dagger (yes magical)

Senuviel took one of the really nice looking suites of leather (clair says is magical)

Left is one really good looking suite of Leather 9Clair says is magical)
and
2 beat up suites of leather and 2 beat up shields, about 6 swords and daggers and some coin.

Kree, at 5' you are to small to wear the leather "magial" (sorry) but you can sell this gear if you get the chance.

Now, is the group going to continue to the map makers shop?

Kree takes up the other  suit of Armor, bent on selling it for  something of good use. He holds up the sheet and asks. So? What of the   Payment?  Did  we  find anything?...If Nay? Show  me where the barrels were, perhaps there may be  a hidden place?

then shrugs,Unless we be moving on, I do not think we should be bothered  again this night...at elast, not in this alley... he flexes his  arm abit  and looks to his slight wounds...I  am well..and  fiot   enough to be bringing a beating to anyone else who wishes to cross us...I am growing weary of Dark folks  beating on us, then running away!

In reply to Kree Quickshadow (msg # 146):

Bruga reminds you all that there is a section of wall behind the barrels that looks messed with and new.

Anyone investigating that???

It is now fairly late, you think the scribe is closed but the night life is awakening soon.

Groddam walks over to the walk laying a hand on the wall where it looks freshly repaired and gives the whole way a good once over.

Re: On the way there

In reply to Kree Quickshadow (msg # 149):

Groddam and Kree - DM chuckle, please roll a d100 then a D20.  Kree when you added your weight to the ground next to the newly repaired wall, the ground gave way.

Groddam you realized too late that there was a soft spot in the earth you where standing on and unfortunately Kree's weight was enough to set the "trap" off.

OOC - yes, this is considered a trap by means of the construction.  Bruga could have detected it and Groddam alone given another round or two (Dwarf thing with stone and ground work) (he had stated he was checking it all out) would have found it.

The ground gives way as Kree walks up next to Groddam acting out swinging a weapon or wnating to dance with the Dwarf?  You see them both flail there arms and knee jerk in an attempt to jump away but alas the ground is too quick and starts to swallow them up.

OOC - just awaiting on those two's rolls for results of a hungry ground.

Re: On the way there

In reply to Kree Quickshadow (msg # 152):

The group sees Kree just drop like a rock out of sight, the ground giving way completely took him off guard.

You all see Groddam desperately grab the edge of the now forming pit and look up with that look of oh bother now what and looses his grip and falls in.

Kree, you dropped in like a rock but you where able to nimbly land and roll which was lucky because as we all know Dwarfs are not the most graceful when they fall.  Groddam lands with a thump where you just where at.

Though bruised and very dirty, you two seem no worse for ware.

OOC - Kree, your 100 was bad but your 6 was good as you where able to avoid any damage landing since you went quickly down you avoided a Dwarf thumping damage.  Groddam, your hanging on saved you from falling fast like Kree did though your landing was not one to write home about, because you hung on your drop was not a bad one plus you avoided thumping Kree.

Kree and Groddam, you are in a dark room except for the small amount of dim light from the hole you fell in.

Bruga finds nothing in the barrels.

Clair moves close to the edge of the pit and examines it while looking in.  The edge of the pit looks sturdy and if the group wants they can attach a rope n grapple and climb down.  It is dark but the moon is out full.

Maki rushes to the hole, though he stopps about 1 foot away from it, and carefully looks down. "Are you guys ok? What are you doing?"

He looks at the others: "Does anyone have any kind of rope or something, to try and pull them up again. "

So much for "payment" Bruga observes. Seeing the accident, he moves to help but realizes he's not in the best tof shape...nor did the potion of healing do much to help. He checks; and, if there's another potion, he drinks it.

Re: On the way there

In reply to Bruga Honeyfinder (msg # 162):

Kree, as you look about you hear the chatter above about a rope and Bruga not feeling well but then you also hear a slight movement and a soft rattle of chains.  Groddam, you notice thr ground is not freshly dug but a nice solid dirt floor and you see three heat images in the dark against the wall each seperated by about 5'.  Groddam, the room you take in is about 15x15.

Kree, you smell what you think is a human bathroom over by the noise.  You also here a slight hiss behind you on the other wall.

Maki, you do notice that the ground looks solid past he hole, Senuviel and Bruga 9though sheepishly) confirm it.  you can attach a rope and lower it there is enough things to do this.
