Kree  nods once  more to Elric,We shall give  our new  friend some work...aye? He will take Point, with Bruga   trailing, I will take the Left flank, Senuviel will take the  right Flank..everyone  else travel together... As i said, Snare will be   a real guard of  sorts.

..see what spore you can find of these  Slavers...so we might   end a few more of them..

Re: on the hunt for slavers

Elric nods agreement to Kree, and begins to look around. "Ok, so which set of prints do we want to follow" He states, more to himself then looking for an answer. He looks around for some that are made by heavier boots and by a man of greater girth. Either would be easier to track, and the latter easier to catch up to given the head start.

Re: on the hunt for slavers

In reply to Bruga Honeyfinder (msg # 7):

There are now four main tracks Elric finds.  The wagons track getting to this spot, a wagon track heading out toward the mountains, another track going to the ambush you encountered and a final track you think may be from another group on foot but foot prints go in both directions.

The wagon track heading to the mountains seems the most logical if you are tracking a headquarters operating for the Orcs.

Tracking is easy once Elric finds the tracks.

Following the tracks the rest of the day finds you passed two resting spots - abandoned but well set up with lean too's and fenced area for horses.

It is after supper - do you push on into the night or camp?

On Kree's watch as Maki settles in for the night, two humanoid figures rush the group.

Kree you are partially surprised or in fact struck dumb at who is attacking and you.

The two slavers who ran away - good but bad :)

Everyone else is asleep - Maki you are awake but not able to do anything.  Even Snare is taken back.

Defend yourself as both slavers over swung there attacks, Kree Action please ;)

Maki was expecting something like this might happen and had his sword and shield ready by his side. Still he had just fallen a sleep, and it took a few moments just to realise what was happening.
When he realised there were two opponents only, the two slavers that eluded them he said. "This two must be stupid or something. We delt with their whole group and now they charge us.  Be careful just in case they have friends in ambush waiting.
And if you can let's try and capture one once more."

OOC - Kree he is at point blank melee range if you use your bow he get's a +4 to hit you but you get two shots to his one.  this is true with any bow/crossbow/sling ranged attack.

"Hail friend! You do not look like the sort that would associate with Orcs. Please say you are friend and not foe."

You can tell the man walking out is finely dressed in clothes, not armor, with a fur cloak and wearing a turban.

Maki, after hearing the man speak will break off his search to walk closer to him.
Stumbling into traps often as of late makes him cautious. He inspects the man for any concealed weapons he might have, and also the man's surroundings. He wouldn't want to be suprised by a few more armed friends of his.

"Helo, for now i'm sure we can be on a friendly turn. We're not associated with the foul orcs in any way, but do want to know what happened here. Might you know anything?" Maki asked as he aproached slowly.

OOC: Maki will try and detect evil in this newcomer. Hope you aren't evil, or else roleplaying with you character will be extremely short :D

He looks over to the bodies and gags, then steadies himself. "Apologies, I have never seen so much carnage before. They killed all the armed guards, pulled the priest from his bed, and the three drivers were forced to hitch up the wagons and drive them back out with the Orcs leading. I was considering tracking them down but alone I fear it would be suicide. Oh excuse my manners, the name is Dixon by the way." Dixon takes a step, extending his arm for a handshake.

Then he turns back, his face more serious now, and says, "If you all had any interest in tracking down those murderers the wagon tracks should still be fresh and easy enough to follow, for this happened not more than an hour ago. If not then... well.. this is embarrassing." He chuckles. "Would you all consider having me along with you anyway?   as they come up  and see the  fires in the distance, Kree  keeps his Voice  low  as he  waves the others in.

..There is  a good chance, there are  slaves   with this group. They should be tied, much like the horse, away from the wagons  , until morining.. The Darkness and surprise  is in our favor...the campfires as well..they will light up those in the  area, while hindering them from seeing us...as long  as we do not  get too close.

What we need to do, is  set fire  to teh wagons...it will destroy there way of moving thier....goods....and cost them a bit of coin in the process....while they try to Put out the fire, those of us  with bows and such can attack from outside the fire's Light..Killign those who try to put out the fires....They will send a scout or two into the trees,, those who are not using  bows and such, can meet them, and take them down

he looks to Bruga, while the 9 hells  are raises, you can  try and reach the  slaves...either  Cutting the ropes, or Picking the locks, if they are shackled...

then he  looks around  and asks, who here has  spells of fire? My arrows  may start a fire, but we cannot be sure.

While setting out on the trail Dixon warmly meets each adventurer and explains that he has practiced the arts of magic for nearly all of his life.

Approaching the camp fires Dixon falls in to Kree's position and adds, "Those three wagons are most likely the caravan taken from my group by the Orcs so there will at least be the three drivers and the priest if they have not been killed. I care not for the wagons and agree that a fire would make for a good distraction. I am of the magical type but unfortunately I don't posses any spells of fire... But I can cast a spell of invisibility if you think it would benefit this situation." Then he gives a cunning smile.

"Invisibility might be very handy indeed. Someone could take a better look, before we set fire just in case we don't catch the priest or one of the drivers in it. Causing a commotion is probably our best bet. If all of them search us and try to deal with us, we might get overwhelmed.

My suggestion is as follows: We split in two groups. Bruga, Dixon, Senuviel and Yenchew one group, the rest second group. Bruga goes to scout out, and Senuviel sets the fires if it is safe. That will be out sign for all to attack. One group from the south, the other from the west. We stick to range weapons as much as possible. This way we might confuse them a bit more and we'll be still close enough to aid one another if needed. If too many come at us we retreat so we might make a new plan."
Maki said, while already prepairing his crossbow for the attack.

Kree, Maki, Clair and Elric, you move close to the wagons on the opposite side of the other group and move in some, Elric steps over a trap, alarm snare but does not set it off, Elric can trace the line to an Orc sitting watching out, oddly he has not seen you all though Maki has made a little bit of noise in his armor.  Your group stops at the trap line.   Maybe there is another 2 Orcs in guard positions Kree thinks but No activity near the wagons yet.

Senuviel returns to where Dixon and Yenchew are, the elf gently whispers: Keep quiet, I'm right behind you. The thing is more complicated than we've thought. There  are 4 orc guards on this side and about for orcs per camp fire sleeping. There are also 2 heavily armored men sleeping and 3 light armored men also sleeping  who look like pretty tough on my account. There's no one in the wagons and no signs of the priest nor the wagon driver you told us about, Dixon. Where are the others? I think we should regroup and plan better. We're far outnumbered. This incursion is going to be a tough one. I'll go fetch Kree and Maki so we can decide what to do.

The Orcs chopping the Orcs out of the webbing succeed in freeing them

You here barking coming from a wagon as one of the "leader Orcs is standing by assume opening thee back

Next round actions ding ding ding

OK, the group did bad missing but the Orc did better, one actually hit Dixon - no wait - updated news as the DM threw out the replay flag and instant replay says That that Orc hit an image of Dixon.  Oh the crowd goes wild and the Orc throws a temper tantrum and glares at all of 4 Dixons now.

As the 12, yes 12 Orcs rush onto the playing field the Washington Redskins scream and yell in fear oh wait that is another story line : )

As the 212 (he he typo only 12) Orcs from Camp rush out to help the fight, branches and weeds and such rise out and about the rushing Orcs, ensnaring 2 of them right out, tripping another 4 and making 3 other stop and go around the new growth yelling and curing at it as they go leaving 3 free to continue the bum rush.  since Elric casted entangle there fore catching 2 Orcs, tripping 4 and 3 go around the mess leaving 3 Orcs to charge at the group which by the way have noticed Clair and Elric standing there casting...so they change course and charge them - for next round

The two Orcs Kree let go are aiming for Dixon and his array of images yelling evil magic must kill

Clair casts and you think a chain mail human stopped running about - leaving one sole chain mail human to ponder his three fellow held mates.

Maki pulls his Morning star out but all he can do is fend off two Orc guards that rushed him neither gaining an advantage

Yenchew attacks the two Orcs not held as they attack him back each side exchanging air swords shots (the crowd chants air sword air sword).

Senuviel swings his mighty two handed sword and the Orc ducks it laughing but slips as he tries to strike at Senuviels unprotected legs, we will not show footage of what he slipped on :)

in summary ----------------------------------------------------

Dixon has 3 Images left and 4 Orcs to fight now
Yenchew has 2 Orcs fighting him
Senuviel has an Orc on him
Maki has 2 Orcs on him
Elric has and Orc on him
Clair has two Orcs on her
Snare is attacking one of the Orcs on Clair
Kree is now at point blank shooting range on the Orcs - just do not miss Kree.

Bruga is well Bruga and still unaccounted for ....

---------- info

2 Orcs are held, 2 are entangled, 4 are now 2 rounds away after getting tripped, 3 Orcs are in camp helping get the wagons hitched and one has been killed = 24 Orcs

3 Chain mail humans are held as one is now dragging them toward the wagon = 4 Chain mail humans

1 Leather armored human is held and 3 are rushing about helping with the horses totally ignoring the held one.

2 very large leader type Orcs are ordering everybody around making teh usual Orc chaos but they are organized =  2 very large Orcs

6 horses being hitched to three wagons   what a wedding this will be....

A partridge and a pair tree - darn there I go again... lol

A natural 20 roll (rolling a 20 on a D20 lol) equals double weapon damage plus to hit bonuses.  remember, the enemy also get's it.   A 1 is a total miss but not a fumble.
Dixon damage would be 9.  4x2 +1 = 9.  I used to add everything up then double it like thieves do but this helps balance missile weapons double base damage since most missile weapons do not have added damage modifiers.  Sorry no triple damage for missile weapons.

shooting arrows into melee can be bad, if you miss you may hit someone else.

Hearing the voice of the cute elf caused her knees to feel like they were about to give out. The confusion she felt overwhelmed her for a half second. One the one hand the sudden appearance of the darkelf scared her, on the other hand the cute elf had noticed her even though he'd been fighting the orcs.

However the split second passed and the giddy side of her was barely contained as she practically skipped to join up with Kree and the others forgetting the Dark elf in the mist. With an excited high pitched voice she replies "oh yes good sir, I'm with you!"

She stays behind the warrior of the group as it is clear she lacks any type of protection. Her big lavender eyes blinking dreamily as she smiles at Kree, lost in the moment.

Still observing the battlefield, Senuviel gives the party a worried look as he says while deep breathing: Has anyone noticed the big orcs moving into darkness? Although I share your preocupations, my friend, says Senuviel to Yenchew the wagons seem to be moving slowly, too slowly I think. They might be trying to force us to give chase and then retaliate. Looks at Kree. Your eyes are kinner then mine for such things, Kree, what do you think? The elf then looks at Maki. What do you think, Maki? The warrior/wizard continues on his strategic thoughts without taking much heed on the newcomers for the time being. Whether Bruga had been made prisoner or not, it's not prudent just charge the enemy now. They have the upper hand on knowledge of this terrain. They might have been here other times, I'm bruised and wary and too many things are fastly happening at the same time. I wouldn't risk being ambushed now. We can chase them at any time now. Those wagons seem heavy and akward, they might be easily tracked down. Do whatever you need to do, I'll keep watch. I don't trust those orcs. Saying this, Senuviel walks to the place where he had left his bow, takes it, knocks an arrow to it and keeps his watch on where the chief orcs have entered the darkness. And please, keep an eye open on the half-breen, will ya? Maki may have not detected any evil on her but she's drow anyway and the last holy people that joined us, except the big paladin here, stabbed us on our backs.

Kree   Looks at His  Blade and wipes off , what blood there is on it, in the Grass.
He sheaths  His weapon as  Senuviel speaks ,  all the while his eyes are on the  New comers.  Taking his Bow  from His shoulder and Giving it a  spin, he walks over to the two new folks. His  Smile is friendly enough, but still comes off a bit stern, until it grow a bit  and his teeth show some ease in his being.

Well Met....  He Offers His hand in a warrior's Greeting, I am Kree...Qucikshadow, Late of the RAzorhawk Clan ....I am a Hunter...I seek out  Slavers and those who aid them, and...most things of Darkness, These are  My comrades, who have fought the same since we came togther... he Points  with His Bow to them as he says their  names,..Clair...Snare, Yenchew..Maki..Dixon is  new to the group...and My Closest of  friends  Senuviel... Our  comrade Bruga is the one who  aided you  in your Escape....

His eyes  pick up on the Rope Burns as he nods to Sila,..My people have  fought  clans  of  your Dark cousins more then once...we have also allowed those  of   Goodly nature to pass through our forests...I i am not  mistaken , there is  a small clan some miles to the South of  My Village...They worship ellistrae ( sp)..I believe..and a few have  aided  my people in attacks on slaver camps...

To Amarisa she  smiles and Give a bit of a Bow, As  the Drowess gave timely aid to Yenchew ...Your aid  by spell helped turn the tide...You have My thanks...and  you too, are welcome to  come with us, should you feel the urge?  his smile grows a bit  wider, But it  fAdes  as  He turns back to Senuviel, speaking to him, but for all to hear,

..At worst, Bruga  is dead...and we can do nothing...if you think back on other  battles we have had, I feel the fellow  is  still hidden out there, doing what he can, for all we know? He may have  even Cut the  harnesses on the  horses..a favored  tactic  of ours to slow down..or even stop the   slavers  from getting away with thier...'goods'

Turning back to the Others   as he stands  a few feet behind  Senuviel,Unless  we were dead...the wagons cannot escape us.... we can trail the wagons, and a Blind farmer  could  track them...I also think, if he is  not harrassing the  group, Bruga  will make certain we are able to track them....so it comes to this...

He turns  back and Points to where the Orcs were last seen,..if they  intent to attack us...they will have split up, perhaps with a few men at arms, to try to catch us in an ambush....the other thought is, they are runnign away to speak with thier MAsters, over the loss of thier goods? This will have been the second shipment, in a few days, they have lost to us....it is not going to make  the evil folks  happy... As he says the last part a grin spreads across his face.

The smile stays, but his voice is just a bit somber,  Maki, and Senuviel have said it...we .....dislike....betrayal. We had  2 Holy warriros  with us once, the fools  turned us  in to the local watch, because of   some...rather...less-then-legal things...we had  done , or were going to do.. One is Missing, I assume those we hunted took her...the other did a foolish death..I am thinking Tymora or Beshaba handed him that reward for his betrayal. The Goal here is to stop the slavers, whether we kill one at a time, scores of them, or wipe out a compound...we...try..to free or save as many slaves as we are able, sometimes...we fail.   he shrugs,The end goal is important, any good we can do between here and there, The sisters will smile on us for that...

he levels   his gaze at the two women,so? there you have it...if it is something you can  do...that you wish to do? You are welcome to join. after your experience, none here would think the lesser of you, should you decline...

..everyone?  check  your wounds... we will MOve on this  side of the PAth, but well within the trees..Just enough to keep the wagons in view, but we will watch out  backs. Our friend who cast spells   Must rest..or pray..we will do that and try to  keep up witht he wagons, and Guard from the orcs.

Maki shrugged. "Drow or anyone else... to me it makes little difference. I only care if Pelor tells me the person is evil. Although i believe the laws of the land should be obeyed, i can look the other way if it really serves a higher purpose. There have been cases, where laws were written by corrupted nobels or politicians. I guess that's why I could get along with this group of slaver hunters without any problems. At least for now." He smilled,
"My name is Maki by the way. Nice to see Bruga did something right. And i agree with Senuviel. We caused them quite a bit of loses lately. We need to be careful, and if you travel with us you should be able to hold your own ground in a battle. While i do believe they ran because they thought they were outnumbered, i don't think we'll catch them of guard again like this. But we did reduce their numbers considerably..." he thought out loud.
"We should definately follow them, as there's more slaves that need freeing. But i'd like to go over to the camp, just to check if there are any signs of battle or struggle there."

Wide eyed she instinctively moves away from the approaching dark elf using the others as a barrier. Despite her keeping her hands open she did not trust her. Drow priestess had spells to. An a spy could easily play the good guy, girl. Her shock was clear on her face as Kree shook her hands and welcomed her to the group.

However the thought was lost as soon as he bowed and gave her praise. She returned his bow and when he smiled at her she blushed and smiled in an almost dream like state. And she had to bite her lower lip to contain herself when he extended the offer to her to join their group. Suddenly sadness over took the happy expression. She turned her head away from the others.

She listened to the others respectively before composing herself and speaking. With a wide sweeping bow to the group at large with a big warm smile. "My name is Amarisa the red heart." Twirling sending small colorful sparkling lights that fizzle from her fingers as she spins. She stops placing her hands on her waist and her expression becomes stern; "I have no love for the slavers or the nasty orcs. If I don't agree with what you are doing, I'll go do something else. As is a mages right. I do not betray my friends"

spinning around yet again she smiles once more. "I want equal amount of time with any spells we find and a equal share of any other treasure we acquire. Do we have a deal?"

Then we destroy what  tents  and such might be there..take what sup0p0lies we can use.....Any Dead  there...take there heads  and we will burn them, we need not fight them againb as Undead....seems to be a popular tool of late, to use the dead against towns or settlements.

I will take the Left flank, Senuviel the right, the rest, stay together to protect... as we Move out..check the Dead for anything of use....

Noddingto Senuviel he moves off to the Left, Stopping at the   orcs they cut  down..he will search them quickly, take anything of use, then  use his  hawkshead-hilted  blade to cut the head  from the Body,...he tosses  each head  as  far , towards the  Camp as he is able, then  moves on with his Bow ready.

Senuviel watches all the presentations patiently and quietly, as it is usual for him on a first contact with strangers. Only after all the newcomers have made their acquaitance, the elf speaks in a polite but straight to the point tone.

Hail! I am Senuviel of the Alantir clan, warrior and arcane arts devotee, freer of slaves and slayer of orcs, be sure we'll share magic evenly as long as you remain loyal to this band and be sure there'll be plenty for any of us, for I myself enjoy mostly the spells that are usable in direct and face to face combat as well as those who hinder or enhance speed and improve melee combat. I have a book in my possession that has been acquired from the sorry carcass of a slaving agent, I've already overcome its protective charms as well as translated its content, you are welcome to give it a look as soon as time allows. For the time being, let's hunt some slaver filth.

He then nods at Kree's command, Aye! bow and arrow in one hand, long sword sheathed on his hip, shield and his gigantic 2 handed sword on his back, the warrior/mage takes the right flank and does the gruesome beheading ritual with the enemy bodies he finds.

Her ill feeling for Senuviel vanished the moment he offered the chance to study the captured spell book. Her excitement overwhelmed her and she actually jumps up and down giggling as she clapped her hands dropping her staff. She squealed in delight; "Oh yes!"

After several long seconds she calms down, reaches down and grabs her staff and hurries to catch up with the others. Trying to stay behind them and as close to the center as possible. She whispers to Kree and any who might be close enough to hear; "Hey, this maybe bad timing, but I used up all my combat spells already. I need to rest and study soon, if we are Gonne hunt them down." she gives a half smile and clutches her staff with both hands.

They took me in after what I can only assume are the same orcs attacked a caravan I was traveling with. After this fight it seems like we could use some more help if we are to take down this slavery operation. On that note, I also have a few spells in my spellbook that I am willing to share, maybe when we have time us magic users could teach eachother something."

Sila was new to the group and was good with the decision to remain and check out the camp, there was always hope that some of her stuff had gotten left behind in the slavers haste to leave the area.

She made no attempt to try and force any confrontation with Amarisa, as they were both she new to the group and she noticed that she was obviously uneasy about Sila's presence a conflict between them would likely get them both booted. She was thankful that most of the others seemed at least be neutral to her.  It would take time to gain their trust she reminded herself.

Sila helped check out the vacated camp site, looking for any tell tale signs of Bruga.  She seemed to have no interest in talk of group leader, instead she checked each of the fallen.  She paused over each one of them and saying a quick prayer for each.  She was still trying to get her bearings, "I'm curious to know, How long have you been tracking this group of slavers?  Are there any nearby towns are villages that they could be heading to?  Have you lost any of your friends?  When would we be planning on continuing on after the slavers?  If it is to be a little while, can spend some time on mediation to regain some spells"

Sila cast another healing spell upon Yenchew as he appeared to be the one that was still in the most need of healing.

Senuviel shrugs at Maki's words and answers Sila's quetions as he rests a bit, arms crossed on the hilt of his gigantic sword which is firmly planted on the ground. We've been chasing and hunting slavers for a while now, ins fact, our very first mission together was meant for us to serve as guards of a caravan, one we found out to be a slaver wagon as soon as we left our hometown, Lotan, we dealt with the slavers, saved the people and got a new companion, Snare, who was locked in the wagon as well. The elf points to the dog. We then chased and tried to eliminate the one who first hired us, an elf named Astar. Senuviel spits. A traitor of his own race...well...we tried to chase him, found some clues, crossed swords with his agents but we were betrayed by our holy warriors an then we immersed in a wild and strange adventure which we were able to deal with and then return to our usual business: bring freedom to the poor people who can't raise arms against this filthy slavers. So, if you want to help people, you're welcome, as long as you remain loyal to our cause. The warrior/mage then returns to his grim job.

Smiling and blushing a bit from the acknowledgement that she is is the defacto' party leader or at least the one who helps make most of the decision Clair sits down on a patch of clean grass.  Yes, Senuviel has it right, we have been through a lot, even dealt with some odd magical ring freeing some Gypsies too.

We all came out of Lotan looks at Kree and Senuviel we knew each other near say a couple oif years before we joined as a group.  Bruga, looks toward the retreating wagons also was one of the orginal's.  Miki joined us after a bad spell with some other members who made some odd choices.  Lady Luck was not on thier side that day.

Yenchew came to be with us while we had a side adventure that was crazy.  We had some Dwarf friends but lost them when they did not resurface  from that said adventure.

Pets Snare who has come and sat down besides her.  Snare - he is a part of our group to, smarter then you think.

We ran into Elric while out chasing these guys then Dixon and now Sila and Amerisa you two from this day.

Looks to Kree and his actions.   Kree is our dedicated hunter, glad I am not against him, fear not about his actions, we ran into undead and he likes to cleanse the bodies and leave a message for other slavers.

I would have liked to chase down those wagons and finished the job sigh but right now i am for locating Bruga - he is missing.

Go ahead and search the camp area, I'll take Snare and see if we can find Bruga's scent - Clair get's up and pulls out a cloth or napkin obvious from Bruga and let's Snare siff it.  then sets out walking the camp with Snare....

Yup, Clair was the guide/defacto leader of the group before said Player took over DMing.  I have kept her laid back letting the rest make decisions with her only helping as needed.  Playing Clair NPC style.  i never retired her as the original DM might come back to retake the rains for a bit - never know - but it is good to have an NPC to run still with the group.  And Lady Luck never let's you down :)

He then puts his hood on waits for Sila and the others to go to sleep and then readying his bow, he merges to shadows on the edge of the fire and using all his elven skills in the woods, goes as silent as possible around the camp, always looking around and about for any signs of danger.

Re: on the hunt for slavers

Sila didn't offer any objection to Senuviel for he and the others to stand watch for the night, she simply said, "Thank you".  She went over to what remained of the orcs gear and found herself a usable bed roll, well at least something that could be used as a bed roll.  She brought it back close to the fire and shook it out before laying it down on the ground.  She sat down on it facing the fire and extended her arms and hands feeling the warmth of the fire.  "Funny how we sometimes take things for granted, it's when it is gone that we realize that we should have appreciate it more"    Sila stared into the fire for a while longer, before saying a prayer to her goddess for enlightenment, guidance & the save return of her small friend Bruga.  Shortly after she laid down and was fast asleep as the exhaustion of the day overtook her

Your turn on the watch, my friend. Everything went smooth and quiet on my watch, I hope your ladies luck grant you the same fortune. Call me if you need me.

Saying this, Senuviel sits below a tree in a position he can see the camp, especially the half-drow. He then puts his hood on, rests his bow on his legs and goes into his elven reverie.

The agitation clearly heard in her soft voice as she lifts her head to look in the direction of whoever it was to disturb her; "Dam it... I'm tired... five more minutes..." she lays her head back down hitting the hard ground where a fluffy feather pillow should be, the events returning her to the front of her mind.

she sits up and looks around, clearly this would not be enough time for adequate sleep and rest for studying her needed spells. The anger in her young eyes burned bright as she gathered herself and went near the fire to stay warm while studying her spells to see if she can manage to pull forth the spell's energy. She did manage a giggle with Kree's openness in torturing the Orc. It did not bother her, in fact she like the idea of these creatures suffering.

She does speak up, "I need a few minutes to study before I can go."

Ah! So dear Bruga's been busy, hasn't he? I suspected those two orcs would stay around, glad we have you with us mighty Honeyfinder.

Says the elf in a relaxed tone as he taps his halfling friend on the back. The warrior/mage then shifts his gaze to Kree.

So...what's the course of action? Bow and arrow ambush followed by melee charge backed up by spells? I've run out of spells already so I'll stick to the bow and arrow but I can get into melee in case things get awkward.

He then looks at the other spellcasters.

Has any of you any spell left? What kind of spells are they?

The elf then goes around checking his equipment, strings his bow and checks his swords and shields.

Try as she might as she finishes memorizing her second spell, she cannot resist looking at all the shiny things that Silas removes from the bag. She has to bite her lower lip forcing herself to remember that the stuff belongs to the half drown. It  only at this point she finally realize that there is a halfling amongst the group. She studies the reaction of everyone trying to judge how long he may have been there, while trying to act like she noticed him the whole time.

she rises and stretches her young firm body showing off a bit and smiles like only the mischievous thinking young girls can. She brushes off her cloak and clasp it back into place.
Looking towards Kree and Senuviel, her smile widens with almost a glow; "Well I think that I am ready. I can give you two set of magical arrows to whichever of the orcs you desire. After that i'll be down to just my staff. And I should let you know, I'm not very good with it."

looking towards the halfling, she smiles warmly before speaking cheerfully to him; "that was very nice of you to return Silas's stuff to her. My name is Amarisa, its a pleasure to meet you." despite her upbeat attitude and desire to see the items being pulled from the bag, she does not move towards Silas at all.

Re: on the hunt for slavers

"We attacked a whole camp of this beasts earlier... i'm sure we can handle just two. They won't get away again." Maki reassured Kree. "If they don't prove that strong, we can try and capture one. If not their fate is already sealed."

Senuviel keeps silent as focusing his mind. He prepares his bow, knocking an arrow to it.

Re: on the hunt for slavers

Maki moved with the others, slowly. Bruga mentioned fire. Although possible that they pout it out, not to attract any unwanted nightly visitors like them, it was also possible .... that this was about to become an ambush.
So Maki remained as quiet as he could, and alert to any unusual movement. His shield and weapon were ready for anything.

07:53, Today: Maki rolled 69 using 1d100. Enemy camp.
