Re: on the hunt for slavers

He starts as he is  awoke, But  smiles  sheepishly,Aye, would be nice to have a quiet night. I still fret over the orcish leaders  walking about...I am Hoping they escaped, and used the wagon as a lure to take  us off thier  scent.

He  shifts on his pack and quiver  and Covers   himself  with his  cloak as he  moves out to start his watch.

Psst, Kree. It's Bruga. Hope everybody's okay. I brought something. Two orcs are camped about 20-30 minutes away. Drow-looking female named Sila find you guys?

Re: on the hunt for slavers

Here. Give this to Sila. Coming from behind a bush, Kree sees a simple leather box or maybe a bag.  it is ornate and of course locked by a odd metal banding around it.

I'll come with you, I'm tired, hungry, and thirsty.

Kree Nods, as he picks  up the  PAck.Come then....  They  move into the   Camp site,  Giving Senuviel a gentle   nudge, the elf  then Moves to Sila, and does the  same.

Sila...awake...Bruga  has  found something for You... keeping his Voice low  he says to the others  as they GAther,Bruga  has  found two orcs  camping, they would have to be the leaders.....we should  go to them..and Kill them..perhaps  leave one alive   for me to....talk to.The last 2  words  are said in a cold  voice.

Turning to where Bruga is,Let Bruga  have something to eat  and drink before we leave...  he   will hand  Bruga  a wine skin he has taken from the Slaver's  site.

"Two orcs, and that's why you wake us all up." Maki said a bit grumpily. "I guess we better go and deal with them quickly. My watch was soon to start anyways, might as well do something in the meantime." He said with a slight grin.

Sila came round and nodded her her in acknowledgement and sat up and rubbed her still sore wrist.  It took some moments longer for her to fully come to her senses.  She took the offered leather case and started examining it in earnest. She checked it for locks and and possible runes or wards  "thank you, how did you happen to come by this?

He jerked a Thumb in Burga's Direction, Bruga  found it, and returned it  while i was on watch...he also seems to have  found to two Orc leaders...

Standing, his  head turns as he looks at the others,we only need one alive...and that one...I am going to talk to...using some of the slavers  own methods to get them to chat....I do not expect all of you...or perhaps...any of you to like that...But one needs to do..what one needs to do..

Re: on the hunt for slavers

The agitation clearly heard in her soft voice as she lifts her head to look in the direction of whoever it was to disturb her; "Dam it... I'm tired... five more minutes..." she lays her head back down hitting the hard ground where a fluffy feather pillow should be, the events returning her to the front of her mind.

she sits up and looks around, clearly this would not be enough time for adequate sleep and rest for studying her needed spells. The anger in her young eyes burned bright as she gathered herself and went near the fire to stay warm while studying her spells to see if she can manage to pull forth the spell's energy. She did manage a giggle with Kree's openness in torturing the Orc. It did not bother her, in fact she like the idea of these creatures suffering.

She does speak up, "I need a few minutes to study before I can go."

Re: on the hunt for slavers

Senuviel wakes up, shakes his head a bit and then speaks.

Ah! So dear Bruga's been busy, hasn't he? I suspected those two orcs would stay around, glad we have you with us mighty Honeyfinder.

Says the elf in a relaxed tone as he taps his halfling friend on the back. The warrior/mage then shifts his gaze to Kree.

So...what's the course of action? Bow and arrow ambush followed by melee charge backed up by spells? I've run out of spells already so I'll stick to the bow and arrow but I can get into melee in case things get awkward.

He then looks at the other spellcasters.

Has any of you any spell left? What kind of spells are they?

The elf then goes around checking his equipment, strings his bow and checks his swords and shields.

Sila lookd over to find her firend Bruga, "Thank you yet again, you are quite the resorceful one.  Before I open this, may I as how you found it.  Was it aready closed or did you have to close it?"

Silla felt that she add to the conversation, "They are spell casters, if given the time to recover their spells they would be much more formatable.  They must not be allowed to recover spells if the role was reversed they wouldn't allow you time to recover spells.  Sending arrows at them from a distance would certainly, keep them from having the time to recover lost spells"

After recovering from the back pat (and the feeling around to locate his back), Bruga nears fullness. His voice responds to Sila. You're welcome. It was in one of the wagons. All I could come up with. Don't know it it's yours. If it's locked, I can try to open it.

Kree listens to the others , then adds,Senuviel  and I will send in the arrows  from Opposite sides of thier  camp...we  surround them...is they do not  fall to the first three flights of arrows  we send  In, I will charge in with My Blade. If  we can bring them to the ground..either  with  shafts, Blades, or  bodies...they cannot cast spells.

..Keep in mind. It would be...NICE..to take onbe alive. If it comes down between them or Us? They die...

Responding to Senuviel question about spells, her voice hinted at feeling almost ashamed for not being more useful at the moment; "No I used all my spells already."

she put her nose back into her book. Without even realizing someone new had even joined the group.

Clair wakes and sighs, No, I have only rested a mere 4 hours so not much spells this night.

Yenchew just sites and sharpens his blades.  Attack them now but I do not recall they casted any spells?  looks at the group, we have odds but?

OOC - 4 hours at max.  means all can have 2 1st level spells IF you study/Pray at least another 10 - 20 min Without interruption :)

Sila replies to Bruga's offer of attempting to open the case, "It is not mine, but if you can opened it I would like to see if some of the contents within may belong to me."  Sila inspects the case trying to determine if there are any magical wards protecting locked case

She speaks to the group, " I realize that I don't know the area around here, but if the orc leaders are nearby, would it be possible to attack them and chase them into some sort of trap or snare?."

Snare looks at Kree with that look, sure and I'll sleep with a cat in the morning too look.  then moves over next to Clair and sits in a hurumph fashion.

Clair chuckles, Kree, I think Snare is not in the mood to charge headlong into to Orcs then have you shot arrows while he is still in the midst.  The sneaky sneak charge and attack might work but they will hear us coming.   Looks toward the case only one of us is still invisible and smiles when the case clicks open.

The case comes to Sila. It's unlocked.

I checked for traps; pretty sure there are none (or I've disabled any).
