Re: The Orc Leaders camp

Sila found the one that fit her and picked it up and examined it making sure that is wasn't infested with anything and then slung the cloak over her shoulders.  If there was a clasps, she made a point to not lock it.  "Cloaks seem safe enough, If there is a locking clasp I wouldn't think about locking it just yet"

Re: The Orc Leaders camp

Senuviel takes the cloak that fits him, looks at it as if analyzing it then says to his friends: I've already replenished my spells for the day. It would take another couple of hours for me to swap one or more of them for an identification incantation. I have the spells in my book, though. I say we move on and on our next camp I'll make sure I'll identify those cloaks. The elf then stashes his cloak deep inside his backpack. He then turns his attention back to the group: So,  where to now?

Re: The Orc Leaders camp

"It is odd. I can't pick up anything evil about this cloacks. But i do wonder who would want to ask us for a favor, but not want to reveal itself. This group was fooled quite a few times already. My suggestion is to investigate the matter though. If the key is held by slavers, then we shoult take it away from them. But even if we do manage to find all the 4 keys and return here in time, i'd hide the keys somewhere nearby, until the signed person reveals more about why the keys are needed." Maki said, as he picked up a cloack as well.

Re: The Orc Leaders camp

A cloak rises in the air and moves around. Then it goes around and disappears.

A voice says:

I've clasped it; seems ok. Let's go west.

I'm chocking/ burning/etc.

Gaack (Bruga's head and body fall separately).

All seem to have no ill toward them when they pick up the cloaks, Brugas voice hit an octave higher though when he sighs with comfort then gags and thuds to the ground or at least you here that lol.  Then he murmurs, you aught to try them on.

Re: The Orc Leaders camp

Looking at the Cloak in his  hands with some doubt,There is  a good chance the  claoks are to aid us in getting the Key....there is  just as  good chance as marking  us as targets....

He folds  his nicely and  places it in his  pack,..My cloak has served me well..I will use it Until Senuviel can check them...

Turning to Maki,..If i understand the  crypitic message. There is but one key, we needs  find. However..that key could be..a key...a gem..a weapon...even a person..so we will have to pay attention as  we travel to the West....From there?  we shall see what needs done..

"Well we were heading west... i say we check it out, if we find any clue there. But i'm not sure we should waist our time with this. I mean if whoever gave this note didn't have a decency to show himself, and explain a bit more.... why should we do any favors."

Maki puts the clock he was given into his backpack. "I'll wear this once i know more."

Get out of the rain; wear your cloak. And should we meet our benefactor, as I hope he or she is, we should talk.

kree shurgs,...as soon as someone can tell me the cloak is safe? I shall wear it. Or...if  we come upon some  enemies, I may try it.

whether  Trap or Nay? This , will lead us to slavers, or  other Dark Folks. Thus  we may be able to prune away more of them from these realms. We just need to be on guard...

In reply to Maki (msg # 142):

Clair, Yenchew and Snare also agree with Kree though Clair and Yenchew do not put on the cloaks but they both state that they will try them on later tonight after we are done for the day.

OOC - there is a cloak for Snare to :)

It is raining hard and vision has been cut to a couple hundred yards as the group starts off.

Everyone roll D10' and yes D20's as you go forth walking in the down poor West.

In reply to Maki (msg # 148):

So far so good, you travel the wet rainy daytill the afternoon where you cross a road, small and rough.  Does the group follow the road or continue into the trees.

OOC Cloak has a hood and goes down to your shins and overlapping pieces to cover some of your arms to your elbows.

Kree will call the others in and ask to se the Map. He will compare the map to where they are. if the trees and road  take them to the same place, he will suggest taking the trees  to keep them out of sight longer.
