Kree wipes  the dishes and stacks them,... over the last week or so, we have dealt a few blows to the slavers, a few got away...something that does  not sit well with me....

We ran into an area or soemthing , that caused Great fear..people Goblins were sent  running, and so we some of us..i was one of them.... we found two of  our friends dead  near some odd creatuire....our path seems to be elading  us to the Mountains..perhaps...you might continue  with your tales?

Bruga whistles, enjoying the fresh air and the countryside. He espies a fitting rock, picks it up, and then another. He tries to juggle them.

In reply to Bruga Honeyfinder (msg # 115):

Slavers story it is, trust me I do not know a lot from the past, just some of the stuff happening now.

There is a group of Orcs hooled up near here that we let stay if the behaived them selves due to the fact that they kept the other humaniods in check and we could keep an eye on them.  Welpo they started working wit the humans and traficking but once we found out about it, we reduced there number and drove away the humans - or we thought.

There was another group of Orcs further away that the 1/2 Orcs were able to take over and strenghtin there numbers which kept up the trade heaviiy though we have beaten them back a bunch with some losses.

Now most of the villagers and farmers are made up of a mix lot of settlers, adventures and common folk so they have been able to keep at bay most activities until recently when the humans came back in force. Now we are hard pressed to control the lot.  that is until they awakened a dragon  oh now that is another story.

Oh, I foget one thing, there are two factions of religeion here, no offense to your preists but one church is lead by normal means and the other is lead by other means, not dark but different,   unfortunetly my husband deals with thelater instead of the church folllowers but they have both been a good addition to the area heoping with godly support.

She smiles, and yes my husband is a Dwarf and he is mining a large vein of ore, we are not just above ground farmers.

So tell me more about this strange creature and the activities, strengths and so forth of the slavers you are dealing with, maybe they are connected.

coming  from the kitchen, Kree  opens his pack and draws out the strange  cloak, we were given these..with a cryptic saying about  wearing them?... I did not wear mine for a while, then when the fear took me, i  wore  it the next night and after....the creature that appeared to Kill my friends?..was like a mixed Beast?

In reply to Senuviel Alantir (msg # 121):

Kree describes the beast -  a creature like no other, part man, part horse part snake part bird.   It turned to dust so we could not check it out further.

She looks at Kree, that is a most interesting beast, was it very tall and a male or female.....

Kree answers (OOC - Male and about 8' tall) OOC - Sorry Kree, I took the liberty on that one.

She asks, did it speak to any of you at any time???  Were you there at the battle?

She seems a bit at odds and fumbles he cleaning rag a moment,

Actions???

Kree watched her, he said slowly, When  I fled from the  magic, or what ever it was.. I needed up near the beast... I did not see my friends, But  I did  fire a few shafts at the beast..at least one hit, I am unsure of the other... then I went to seek my comrades....

..then, as we  sought out  our  two missing friends...and found them , thus...

In reply to Kree Quickshadow (msg # 123):

A shame your two comrades, I lost many of friend to foes and natural disasters,

So, the cloak, I would wear it, it seems a good fit for you all.

She puddles around some then sis and says, maybe I should send you all to Horace Pie, a Bard of confusing nature that lives near here in a secluded spring.  He may be able to help decipher the riddle.

Looking about, best get yourselves packed up then, unless you wish to stay another night and smiles.

She shakes her head a Bruga, I have enough supplies to feed you all for another two days without having to go to the town for supplies.  Now, if you need more supplies then the town further along the pathway you came is your next stop.

Now let me see what gear we have available, if you feel the need to purchase it instead of allowing me to help you outfit yourselves properly, I can work out an arrangement.

She heads off into the tree line following a well worn path.

Do you all follow?

In reply to Senuviel Alantir (msg # 137):

OK the grup is lead into a rough area and you see a hole in the ground surronded by rokcs and dirt mounds.  As you approach the hole you see that there is a pully system set across it and setting by the hole is a wolf.

The lady sighs, Gretchen is guarding that darn hole for him.  Never saw such an attachment as thouse two.

Chuckles, stay here, I'l be right back with that gear and some other stuff.   She moves to the hiole, the wolf just looks at her then at the group but just sits there.

she pulls out a harness and attaches her self to the rope and slides down the hole and disappears.

Anyone doing anything or just waiting???
