Still O.O.C.
This is for, still, Out Of Character banter and discussions.  Keep it OOC and remember that it is not a chatroom.

I love that I had to make a second one!  This game is successful beyond my dreams.  keep it up.  I love everyone of your guys' RPing.  Each and every one of you has brought something unique and interesting and colorful.  Please, keep it up so we can have a wonderful second year.  On that note...  we are getting close to the first full actual year of this game!  I'm so excited!

Re: Still O.O.C.
Let's call it a Merit roll, with a bonus from any skills that apply or sight related bonuses.

That's for sorting the keys.

A scan with detecting magic requires a Magic roll with bonuses from transfiguration.

Go ahead and run George Weasley and/or his wife and children yourself Damina.  They have a write up in the History thread.

Room four is open.  Sorry for the delay, was at my mother's for a few days.  Feel free to open the door and move into it.

Note; it is probably on page two of your links, again.

Re: Still O.O.C.
Since we are trying to identify the potions would it be Int plus potions skill?

Either Int or Merit, merit if you have skill that you think applies.

Re: Still O.O.C.
Please remember, any spells used in the game can be added to your list of spells known if you are involved with them.  Thus the alarm charm and Vapors charms that James has used are fair play for anyone.

Also, if you have an idea for a charm run it past me and Lady Red, an 'ok' from either of us is good to go.  We are usually, between us, very prompt in responding as many of you have noticed.

Our glorious GM is sleeping the sleep of the dead.  He was up for 27 hours straight and can't think, well straight.  However, room 5 is now open on the second page.  ^_^

LOL...  I was wondering how long ti would take for people to figure it out!  Room five was a play on that old trick teachers do to students.  AHnd out a paper that says to read then follow every direction.

The last of which is to ignore all the other directions, write your name on the paper, and turn it over!

Re: Still O.O.C.
I'm sorry Claire and Serena.  It wasn't fair for me to post quite so many times in one night; especially since Claire mentioned she would be away until Tuesday or Wednesday.  I just got a bit too into the game and wasn't thinking about the fact I wasn't giving you two enough time to respond.

Sorry guys.  I got the next arc of plot planned, but I don't have time to write it.  Look for it this weekend.

Claire Cowlings:
OOC and yes, there should have been alarms, Harry shouldn't have been facing quirrel alone in the first book, even if Dumbledore wasn't in the building.

I think there might be some merit to the speculations Iíve seen in some fan fiction and discussions that the whole sorcererís stone incident was deliberately set up by Headmaster Dumbledore as  training and/or a test for Harry and his friends.  Either that or Dumbledore was certain that Quirrel would never be able to get the stone out of the mirror and the rest of the challenges were just meant as distractions/to slow him down a bit.

Re: Still O.O.C.
Mold Voldy might be unheard of in the muggle world, but as Lord Voldemort he overthrew the British government.  Whether your character knows of that is up to you.  It was around a decade ago.

Also, I am working on the last bit of the rooms.  Should be up tonight or tomorrow.

I'm going to presume Evangeline is clueless.  I remember being totally clueless about world events until i got older and got to put them in historical perspective.

It's something she'll try and look up google when she gets home, but is clueless about for now at least.

In reply to Evangeline Kapelhoff (msg #20):

well, claire wouldn't have a clue who hitler was, but the recent war between lady red and voldemort is recent enough to have had a huge effect on more than one of the kids here.
