Since you mentioned that you had summer plans that would involve our new players, I wanted to make sure that Amanda’s family doing so wouldn’t interfere with anything. If not, I have a bit of time this week and was thinking about researching a few things they'd be seeing and doing in South America and maybe getting starting writing things up.

The Summer plans are a few Daily Prophet releases, a couple things with Claire and Athene, and the continued harassment of folks by the Lady Red government... shouldn't affect SA plans too much. Parents might even want to take the trip for a break from English nonsense... yeah?
Actually, if anyone wants to establish knowing any of the NPCs from the schools or even the PCs, feel free to do so here where I can see or let me know in a PM so I can okay it, but you are all free to do so. I know and trust most of you well enough to work with the world and NPCs freely.

Most of Amanda’s trip will be spent in other area. But how does this sound for the last week of her vacation and for Liu Bao-Yu’s vacation.
The Fernando de Noronha, an archipelago located approximately 220 miles away from the Brazilian coast, is famous for its pristine beaches, landscapes and wildlife. This beautiful setting is home to a wide assortment of plants and animals, many of whom can only be found on those islands. The natural rock formations have created many natural aquaria and the underwater life is especially diverse.
Muggles would tell you that the archipelago consists of 21 islands, islets, and volcanic rocks, with one main island making up 91% of the total area. This is not actually the case. The archipelago contains another large island and several smaller ones that have been protected from muggle eyes and intrusion by an extensive assortment of muggle repelling and warding charms.
Sao Lourenco is home to an all-wizarding community (containing approximately 1,000 witches and wizards). It is also home to one of the most popular wizarding resorts. The Turquoise Resort sits directly on the beach. The luxurious hotel consists of a mixture of villas and suites and can comfortably accommodate up to 200 guests. It is home to several restaurants and bars and more can be found in the nearby wizarding village. The resort also offers both guided tours of both marine and landbased sites and a wide range of activities including a quidditch/quodpot pitch.

at 04:57 | Re: Still yet another O.O.C. Well Robert will be flying back to the US (southern California) and enjoying a few weeks travel with his family and resting then will be volunteering at the magical ocean rescue for sea creatures based out of Huntington Beach Calif.
While he still has friends back in SoCal i am guessing that he is growing beyond those childhood friends.

Second year finals are the same as they were last year for Kiri and Nik, BTWs.
James will have his up this week sometime. I got Chinese New Year coming up and a ton of free time to kill this cold I got from the cesspit of disease I work in. Kids are cute right until you watch one sneeze into their hands, wipe it on their pants, then come running to hug you... Seriously, you gotta be nice while your cringing and hoping everything you know about microbiology doesn't apply to this case.
Anyway, we get a full on week off for the national holiday in which I will explore by day and try to get some work done on the game by night. I really hope to move us a good ways toward the next year or at least well into the summer.
Hmm, I might post some threads and possible hooks for NPCs to connect with or places for PCs to connect to NPCs.
Lastly, our player from Beauxbatons never logged in again after being added to the game. He is gone as of now and I plan to seek a replacement. If anyone knows someone who would like this game, send them my way. They can fill the Beauxbatons spot or work with me on one of the other schools. That is all.

But a spin off game has just started (same game world playing the children of the characters in my game) and they are all HP-ed out. That games doing the typical '100 posts a day' that some high post rate games get. I get exhausted just watching it.

I'd just post in Looking for Players each week. Within a month I would expect you to get a good applicant. You don't need them to be here at the start: the camera just didn't shine on them...

My Tai Chi lessons are being seriously disrupted by it. The Sifu is also part of a Lion in a Lion dancing team, and they are busy busy busy right now. I occasionally join in as the 'Cheeky Buddha' which is a lot of fun.

I thought only Claire was trying to take that many and it is nearly killing her. If you remember from her earlier posts, she only has time to study, eat, and sleep (and is barely sleeping). Even Amanda and Athene are only taking four electives. I could have sworn that your character was just taking three (Magical Langauges, Muggle Studies, and Care of Magical Creatures).
Btw, James. I think I remember that last year your character was thinking about trying out for the quidditch team. Is he still interested and, if so, is he planning to try out next year. It might affect the gift that Amanda will be bringing back for him from South America.

As for Quidditch, the trials for next years' house team are coming up and as long ad Claire and his friends encourage him, James is going out for chaser or beater. He is vocally on record that seekers are premadonnas and ruin the sport. I will have James' post up in a few hours! Gotta run into work for a bit before the long vacation/holiday.
I like his reaction to the argument... Evil GM ideas are spawned!

Hey now, we were just following the advice of our Head of House and fellow Ravenclaws. =)

Amanda will be happy to encourage him and will even promise to cheer for the Hufflepuffs if he plays, unless they are up against the Ravenclaws. (Of course, she typically does that anyhow. But, she doesn't have to remind him about that part.)
