Sorry, Jade, big feet might be an excuse, but half a world away definitely works, not that I am not regretting the situation. Ohhh, I wish I could dance like that, You will simply have to teach me when we get to that clammy Scottish place, Hatwards or something. I will teach you other things, like always. We always trade skills right? Humm, of course, I cut my hair last year so that won't be a good trade, any interest in guitars anymore? COuld you imagine how I'll drive all those British girls nuts if I could make my ass move like that?

So, even though I’m planning on breaking it up into pre and post South America sections, it may be a day or so before I get my first missive up. Since we are getting out of school on June 5th and will probably want at least a week or so to finish travel arrangements. I’ll probably be in South America from late June to mid-July. That means that I’ll be at the wizarding resort from July 12th – July 18th.
I should have my saying goodbye in the Great Hall post up today and others will follow.

The spin off game (I'm only in it as Aunty Jade and OOC stuff at the moment) is almost all sex as far as I can see *rolls eyes*
Tell you what though, in a few months I'm getting married in game. I can't remember if I've asked you to attend the wedding.

There was four reports in the Prophet about the real Mrs. Duckworth being found, some scandals surrounding Hogwarts, the Festival being announced. Nthing major though I tend to like to hide plot hooks in such inconsequential posts.

I'll look at vacations, although as I say I'll post mine after I've RPed some in the exotic locations (where I am now is pretty exotic!... kind of wish I was there IRL)
I read the Prophet, but my view is that my character at the moment could care less about scandals like that (are they about important people like movie stars???), so I'm deliberately not putting my 'detective eye' on them. I'll go back if/when I get sucked into 'caring actually quite a lot'!.

1. Would you prefer that I hold off on my second Vacation thread post until after you've had a chance to respond to the first portion? (Regardless, it will probably be at least a couple of days before the second post).
2. Is the end of the year dance an end of the school year dance (in May) or an end of the calendar year dance (in December)? Either way, I think it is very evil of the headmaster to make us spend months trying to decide who to ask and when to ask them. =)

She's probably mention getting makeup to cover up tattoos given the unusual nature of the color to be covered.

Amanda and her mother probably thought the reason that people were staring when they checked into the hotel was because of their clothing or just a fear that Amanda might be contagious.

I noticed that you were planning to have your parents be acquainted with the Carrorws and assume that you meant for them to be the parents of Thomas Carrow. However, Thomas Carrow is an orphan and lives in the magical orphanage with Athene. If you were wanting to select a family that lives in Hogsmeade, your options are Amanda’s family, Claire’s family, and Roran Thomas’ family or if you want to go with a student that is one year younger than us Cynthia Potage’s family. Rolf MacNair’s father lives in the groundkeepers hut near Hogwarts (which is within walking distance).
If you were trying to select an NPC that is not particularly fond of the PCs, your options would be Regulus Avery, Lysandra (who now lives with her Lestrange grandparents), and Dolores Yaxley. Per Snape: “Lysandra's core are Regulus and Rolf while Dolores and Tomas are more toward her than the Twins.”
