Sound's good.  Although Amanda will be with her housekeeper rather than her parents.  It's a weekday, so her Mother will be in the Netherlands and her father will be quite busy as well.

Snape, could you please remind me how many people can comfortably sit in one of the train compartments.  If I remember correctly, it was 6, but that may have changed.

Also, does it seem as though Beth, Jade, and Akane are basically just stopping by to say hi before heading on to another compartment or are they actually coming in, sitting down, etc?  If they are in the corridor, Amanda had been planning to make an excuse not to invite them in since she still hasn’t had a chance to ask James about something she doesn’t want to discuss in front of the visiting students. But, if they are in and sitting, that would be quite rude.

Ah, since Robert had posted walking past our compartment twice, I’d gone with the assumption that Amanda, Athene, and Claire had started the conversation on the platform and then it had extended into the train.  But, having it take place on the platform does make a bit more sense and I’m certainly fine with going with the majority and modifying my assumption.  I don’t think I’d even need to edit any of my posts.

Thought I'd go ahead and give my usual heads up.  I'll be going home to Colorado on Monday and staying for approximately two weeks.  I'll have access to my Mom's computer of course.  But, I may not be checking in as regularly (or at all on the days I'm actually driving to and from Colorado).

I'm traveling for the next few days (lots and lots of planes, trains and automobiles) That's why I haven't been posting much this week.

Woo, train event officially started. See about that. I a also being inspired to try a different setup for the IC threads this year so that we can have a slightly less linear story that allows for a bit more fluff playing on the side. We'll see how the idea works.

First, we gotta get to Hogwarts!
