Joseph shoots out the lights where he is and finds cover but leaves the lights around the front door burning.  He shoots anyone coming through the door.

   Shadow loked around   quickly, there  was a small hall, of sorts.. on the  west  wall..there   were   4   door  ways    on this  level two  on either side of the door way..on the east wall.

  .. Shooter... you said  one person on the roof?

  with no visible  stairs,  the  door to the roof , had to be  down that hall way.. but there were  4  rooms  with Doors  closed  Up here...

 ..Ok?   Patchwork  and PIntsize...  get up to the  thrid  floor, search the rooms.. I'm going on the  rood.. ignore the  2nd floor.. if things  go well,  we'll come back..

 he moved   as  fast and quiet  as he was  able, to the HAlway.

  Fires were starting in the   consoles  and    Vid screen banks... Melia  couldn't  get the disc out, the   machine  was  already  flaming on the inside.

 Roy   saw the    Shuttle.. the gleam off the outside  spoke of  Military Grade  metal the woman  franticly waved it to come down.

  at the  door,  the   troops   ran   two  at  a time towards the  door

    "Ay Captain my captain." Joseph says and rushes up the stairs.

Roy grunted at 5he question.  "Confirm...one, female, with a briefcase, waving the shuttle down.  It looks to be military grade...but based on what I heard about Koffel's birds at the Proving Grounds, that may not mean much.  I can prevent her boarding, but it means leaving the front door vulnerable...if you're ready for them inside, that shouldn't be a problem...they won't all make it in there, even if I take time to drop her..."

He kept the rifle pointed at the yard, relying on his peripheral vision to alert him to motion around the vans, and watched the roof.  If the shuttle got within twenty feet of the roof before Shadow caught up to her, he'd take action...or if it appeared the shuttle had gunners aboard that might try to open up on Shadow.

Melia stalked out of the comms room and headed to the stairs. Wary of any of the response teams that may have made it inside. She takes the stairs two at a time. Comm room may be a bust. Clever bitch managed to self destruct the system. Moving to floor 3 now. she calls over the comms. A wave of fresh anger rolling over her at the failure.

    Shadow  was   at the  Door to the Roof  top.. he  had the  sanri  ready,..I'm about to step out on the  roof... Shooter?  Patchwork  and Pintsize  are headed to the third  Floor... Your  choice....as long  as you are  dropping someone you made the right  choice.

 Melia  and Joe MAke   reached the  send   floor as they went   past the smoking  remains  of the  door there.  down to the North,  the LAst dorr way opened  and  2 Black  uniformed  Guards  came Out.. they  had thier  weapons ready.. but  were surprised  to see Two people in the  hall..

 Roy   saw... what looked to be another incoming shuttle, that also came from the  direction of the Stem... it was also dark in color.

 The  Shuttle at the  roof   was  comign  down away from the frantic   woman, as  not  to   land on her she picked up the 2nd  brief case  as  starte to   walks  csarefully to the Landing spot.. that would be  , right over the dead Guards... The  shuttle  face  towards the west..  a back ramp  was  comign  down as the shuttle  lowered .

  The first two trooper son teh  ground  ran   hard  for the  doors.. the  other   3   crouched  behind the   GAte Van..

   The   western most  VAn  was now  rising into the air..

 there      kitchen staff  were moving along the   south  fence and were 50 or so  yards  away from the  gate. moving  fast.

Melia was nearly as surprised as the guards at the sudden appearance of the enemy right on front of her. The guards were a bit quicker than her on reaction and opened fire, Melia reacted by diving taking two quick steps and dropping into a power slide reducing her profile and returned fire from her more stable position, her fingers worked the triggers as quickly as possible. Emptying the .45 hard ammo mag at the guards she drops the weapon in her lap shifting to a two handed grip on her pulse .45 hoping to drop both guards before they hit her.

"Don't be in such a hurry," Roy muttered under his breath.  He shifted the rifle, putting crosshairs on the woman, and fired, aiming just below the knee of the leg carrying her weight as she took another step forward.  The shock of such a wound might kill her, anyway, but it should at least give Shadow time to catch up with her, maybe even get some questions in.  But after seeing the damage the Largran rounds had been doing, he was expecting her leg to be amputated by the round.

At the very least, he was sure she wouldn't be walking to the shuttle...

"Heads up, there's another bogey inbound.  Haven't gotten a good look at it yet, but given traffic patterns, looks like it's headed this way."

 Roy's     round   dropped , just a  tad,  hitting the Woman   in the   right   calf, the   Leg Tiwisted  away   as she   screamed  like an angry Pirloc . the  Briefcases  Fell   as she   tried to  grab  where her  Lower leg  used to be..

 Shadow oepned the   Door, seeing the  Leg rip away...

    some one  came out of the back  of the   Shuttle..    , the LC burst from the  dor   Sprinting  at  Full speed  The  fellow  , looking at the woman, looked up  Just in time to see the Flash from the sanri at about  10   Yards..    the Blast   burned  away    the  front of his   face  and  Neck  and Left hand  ..he  couldn't even scream  right..

  Another Fellow  was    comignout of the  ramp, Shadow had  Never  stopped  his   sprint, slamming itot the  Man as he was shocked to  see the attacker  , on top of  Hin, the  Left  had drew the trench  Kknife   and  it   slammed into the man 5  or six  times, with the  quick hands  of  a  Reciver  driving the BAlde in again and  again.. He  could see the Driver  Looking   Back...better   part of Valor and all he  Lifted  Off.. the Sanri  fired again, but  just took some  paint off the Belly of the  small shuttle..

 the Incoming shuttles   suddenly  turned on spot Lights  and   tried to sort out the people on the  roof.

Roy aimed at the spotlights...they wouldn't be flimsy, mounted on a shuttle, but they were likely armored a lot less than anything else on the exterior.  He wasn't about to test rounds against the cockpit metaglass unless shooting started...but putting out the lights might be enough to unnerve the pilot, at least long enough for Shadow to get back inside.

  Roy  fired.. the  First   shot hit  Right  Above the  port side  Light.. the Second  shot was  easier  as the    shuttled  turned towards him a moment , and the   spotlight shattered...

 the   Shuttle  when  up  and to the North a bit.., most likely looking for  Movement.., the personal  shuttle Moved off to the North to wait..

  Shadow  stopped at the LAdy, picked up  both cases...  and   ran  towards   stairs.. she  screamed for Him to help her.. even as  rounds  stiched a trail Up , Just behind  him  and he dove  into the   stair well opening..

 The shuttle collected itself   then  moved   to land   again.. the personal shuttle  staying  behind.

 Inside the  Cover,  two steps  down, Shadow    began to  fashion  his  Powercell grenade...

  the troopers  fired  at the  PAir  In teh  Hall way.. Melia  talkign a slight   hit to her  upper   left shoudler..  Joe Mac  taking  a  Hit  to his lower  right  leg.

     Melia's  weapons fired   and   tore  apart the trooper on the elf...   Joe MAc managed   apair of  rounds  in the Chest that brought  the other one  down...

 below, they heard  the   slam of the  remain , upper part of the main doors.. and the shouts  of at elast two troopers.

 Roy could see the  shuttle  comign  back,, have  the   co-pilot opened up on Shadow with  an SMG..but the LC's  dive and shaking  shuttle  saved him.

   Roy did notcie  another pair  of   troopers running to the  door, while the Driver of the last  shuttle   was   about to land on the   south west coner of the  Building.

 the   Kitchen help we  just about to the gate.

Melia ignored the glancing blow to her shoulder cursing under her breath. She picked up her hard ammo .45 and swapped mags quickly jamming the firearm into its holster across from her pulse .45, grabbing a dermaplast bandage from a pouch she tosses it to Mac, "I'd love to stay and work on you myself but sounds like we are about to have company from below. So you'll have to play medic for yourself. Once we are secure I'll take a better look" She says grabbing her carbine and switching it to burst fire, and take a position at the top of the stairs looking down for any sign of the troopers coming in response. Over her comms she called out, "We got at least two troopers down stairs from us, they just breached the doors. Pintsize and I both took a hit when we came across a few guards that had been left behind. Once Pintsize gets his wound wrapped, I'll let him take our six and check on the last of the  rooms

   From below Melia hears,..FUJI SEC...drop your weapons   and we will take yhou in alive

 There is a giggle through the COMs,..nope..not  FUJI SEC... Gresh  has ordered  all  Station SEC to stand  down from the area... that  means no help for   either side, from SEC

 Shadow  slipped the   tape  back into his  pouch, and held  the   twin Power cells in his right hand.

 The  woman was screaming  in pain and fear.. the    Heavy shuttle lAnding close  to the  woman.. the  skid s  crushing   the   dead  dog  and one of the  guard's bodies.

 The driver  of the   fake  SEC  van ws making his  way along the east edge of the  roof, keeping low  and heading towards   the Stair shelter.

Melia slips back to Joe and indicates for him to stay quiet, and grabs a pulse weapon off one of the dead guards slipping one of her spares off her belt and rigging the charging points to the top of her power cell, in a varient of the Shadow makeshift grenade and sliding up to the edge of the stairs. "I give up, I'll send my weapon down the stairs. I need help I'm hurt." giving her voice a hint of pain and urgency. Once the bomb is set and started she throws the pulse weapon down the stairs lofting it so it lands near where the fake SEC are at, ducking back behind the wall and preparing to open fire with her carbine if any make it up the stairs.

 They    ran closer.. the smoke is getting thicker from the COM/SEC rom.

 One   trooper  came up the HAll, the other  came out from the dining are , they were both by the Pulse rilfe.

  Joseph caught the Derma plast mid air and ripped off the Velcro allowing him to access the wound on his leg "Sonuvabitch" He growled, as he wrapped up the injury.  Slapping the damaged armor back into place he see's Melia com back to him and bites his lip as she hushes him.

There was never truly a guarantee on how long the packs would last before going off, but there was an average and as she hit the last 5 seconds on her mental count she turned her head away and closed her eyes hoping the damn rig wouldn't malfunction and fail safe on her.

    Joseph wordlessly hands her a shock grenade.  It looks like a kitchen egg timer but she heard him mention it before.

  There  is  a  Bright  white    light  and  a Hush-like  roar..and two  shortens screams of  surprise.. the  steps  were burning  as  well  as the torsos of the  late guards...

  Shadow  watched the   shuttle  settle  down.. he shook his head,

   Overwatch?  You tell  big blue..NOW..that  he has a  damn heavy  infestation of EDT somewhere ..theres  a   damn landing shuttle on the  roof..

 Just as he finished talking  he heard  a  Grrrrr.. and  the Driver  from the    other shuttle  slammed  into  him   dumping them  Both  down the   steps   The  Fellow   stabbed Shadow twiace.. the first  one was   truned   By light   chest  plate..but the second  one  slammed into   his  Side..

  then they  Hit  the  Bottom...

   Shadow looked at the Blood,..that was real stupid... you son of a bitch... do you know  who I am!

 the Guy    Grinned.. he limped  a bit  as he  got up....you're the   guy that's Gonna  MAke  Me Ri....

 the throwing   dagger   came from behind  his back  in into the  MAn's  throat.

 falling to his knees.. Shadow   grabbed the    angel steel weapon.........Thanks for the COM.. I Needed an extra one.. he twisted the    dagger  as he pulled it out and search the man while he gagged , drowning in his own Blood... adding creds to his  pocket  and  the   guy's side arm.. then  took the   COM..

 ..Took a Blade..  one of the fake  FUJI guys  got  me... he's having his last drink now..... I'm goign back up the stairs... Patchwork..  I don't have a Med Tech   kit.. if you have  some  foam..i could use it...

  he   grunted  as he went up the stairs,  found his  COM-Bomb and   set the   thing around  the   dying man's  COM.. he copied the Number into His  COM.. then waited  to see  what  was going to Come out of the   shuttle.

 He used the lst of his  Tape, to   tape shut the   stab  wound.

Roy had been watching the heavy shuttle coming in...pretty sure it was trouble, since Beth hadn't mentioned anything about Gresh sending reinforcements, so he was waiting for the hatch to open, to start shooting whoever came out...until he heard Shadow's comm call, which elicited some low profanity from him.  He noticed Shadow leave the stairway again, heading for the shuttle that had landed...and covered the LC's six.


"Word to the wise...there's another shuttle on the roof...be real careful coming back out of there..." he mentioned in a low mutter.  Crosshairs rested on the shuttle hatch, just below neck height, waiting for the first target to present itself.

 he   took out his    half used  power cell, replaced it with a fresh  on, and  jammed  the half used one into his  COM-Bomb

  after the explosions..  Two more    troopers ran towards  the   door.. leaving one guard  by the van.. the Kitchen  folk were running like the beasts  of the 9 hells were after them

  the shuttle 's    loading ramp  started to come down... troops  rushed  Out   spreading out , trying to  find   cover witht eh shuttle  or the  Duct work and  such on the   roof. at least   10 trooper s  spread out  over the   roof.. The   guy that shot  at   Shadow with teh SNG     dropped out of the   shuttle  door.. the pitot   loked around.. it  appeared he   looked  straight  at   Roy..but it was  hard to tell.

 The fellow   was out of  Sanri  blaster  range ..red  and  green  dots  danced   around  Shadow's  little Pill Box.

 ..OK  Dumbass... its over... don't know how you thought you'd  oul this off ..but..hey?.. you're   wrong... his  arms  went out  wide  his  SMG  in the   right hand.

 ..But?..  we gotta  take   care of the Bosse's  lady here.. so?..  toss out those     briefcases ...  and go down stairs. like a Good  little ESN  boot licker.. and  we might even let yu live

 The   Guy Looked at   the stair well.. tilting his head.. he saw  a   object  fly out . end over  end  an hit     just   Under the    Shuttle  port side    Skids.

   the   3  1/2  Power Cells  went Up     Blowing the talker    to the  north  and     almost vaporizing    the   trooper   behind him..   the  Roof   Fell in from the weight of the  Massive  shuttle     as the     hold     Kept  Getting  wider..

 Shadow  grabbed the brie cases  and     ran down the steps      as the Shuttle    began to  sing.. the  Pilto  hit the  thrusters  to  fly out.. and inside   Dove  down into the Building    crashing..

    Shadow yelled to     Melia  and  Joe Mac.. RUN RUN RUN.....  screams  from whatever peopel where still in rooms   could be heard... .. Koffels     wife   fell into the  opening  maw ...

   SHOOTER.. heading to the Main doors!

The shuttle troopers disembarked from a hatch Roy hadn't seen...by the time he had any sort of clear shot at them, they were scattered on the far side of the shuttle...and, as Roy started lining up a shot on their apparent leader, he saw Shadow's makeshift grenade fly out and land by the shuttle's skids...

Instinctively, he removed his eye from the scope...the blast was still brilliant, but a lot less shocking than if it had been magnified through the scope.  The roof began to buckle, and Roy realized what was happening.

As the shuttle plunged through the collapsing roof, Roy put his scope on the main doors.  He didn't see anything, initially...then one of the fake FujiSEC troopers stepped into the doorway. He'd been waiting for a target, and smoothly, he adjusted his aim, putting the crosshairs centered between the man's shoulderblades.  He squeezed the trigger methodically, sending another round racing downrange.  He watched the doorway, more to see if any more troopers stepped into his line of fire, even while thinking he should deal with anyone still by the van...that van was a quick departure for them.

   Joseph paused long enough to send a number of bullets at the guards, aiming at each with one of his two guns.  He couldn't run and shoot with his injury, but he couldn't run at all with those two at the door.
