Lizzy smiled when Sam came over, she hoped seeing her friend would cheer up Izzy. She did notice her playing with her hair to cover the burnt side of her face. Lizzy holds her hand and says," No Izzy they are not, they are eating and talking to others. You are still beautiful Izzy if people dont realize that, they can eat my fist."

 Izzy talked with Sam, Lizzy smiled and replied when they where done," Yes Izzy come with us and if you dont feel good you can go back to the room, but you have to come get a dress and come to the Ball my love, unless your working or are you taking time off my love?"

 Meari smiled at Can, and she said," Hello I am Meari I am Udenese, it is a pleasure to meet you and I hope you are all doing well, and I will not harm you or your friends I kill slavers, kidnappers, EDT, and all Empire scum and of course Verians." Meari was still learning how to deal with Human children she really has only been exposed to Haley and Roll and a few kids on board, but there where a lot of kids and going to the Beach with them would be wonderful, she hoped she could tag along.

"No, I've got the time off" Izzy lied, having done no such thing but really wanting to work the ball all things considered "...so I'll be your date if you'll have me" she said, suspecting that even an Angel silk dress would do very little to detract from her appearance, though no doubt Lizzy would once again find something scandalous enough to wear that would keep all eyes firmly fixed on her "...and I guess I could come to the spa with you guys, it has been a while since I last received any pampering" she shyly added clearly nervous about the whole thing but not wanting to let anyone down. Also being able to spend a little time with Lizzy and Sam was a definite bonus too.

 CE-VA got up and  was  making her way back to the   counter, she waves  at izzy, her shoudler CAM on..,,Hey,  Sakura!,,, I hear  you had  some action.. hunt me down  and I'll get an interview!

 she then  took her bowel back to the  counter and Thanked  everyone, before exiting to the Roof top.

At one point, when Can glanced his direction, Roy gave him a wave over, inviting him to join the little cluster.  If 5he kids were all going to Bura together...and it sounded like they were...the sooner the loners got integrated into some kind of group, the better it would be for them...

Unless they got broken up again once they were there.  Roy supposed that could carry it's own degree of trauma...but even then, it was one more group of friends they had made, which should make finding friends wherever they ended up that much easier.

 Can Got Up  and  walked a  bit slowly over to  sit  by Roy. he plopped  near him, he pointed to Meari....The tall lady says she  kills bad guy... I think you should  alla  the bad  guys ever!...

 Vaka  came  out of the elevator..he  had   a bright  yellow shirt on and  purple swim  trucks, and ..badly fitting, sungalsses..The Occui looked  and said,..the guy in the shop  said this is what people wear to the  beach?

 Inside  the  Cooking was  winding down..  Shadow  finally   took a bit of of a piece of  Toast, , beth and Flores  went   back  to the   room to get swim suits on.

 Shade  was  already  taking out  the  scrap s   to the larg Bin. he stopped at the  Kids  and  set  down  a  bowl that  Had  some bacon strips left for the kids to share

The kids gathered their plates and went an sat with Mitch.  Nikki followed a bit with two plates for her and Mitch.  She side stepped a few kids and other Hermes folk while getting to the table "Like back home....everybody everywhere" she beamed.  She noticed Izzy in profile.  Bits of convos here and there said she got hurt during Delta Night.  Lizzy must have gone out of her mind for a bit, she sure would have.  "So...Mitch what's on your agenda today?  Beach time?" she asked as she ate some of the eggs and followed it with some very warm orange tea.
Haley was practically dancing in her chair, excited about going to the beach again.

Billie stayed close to Arnie, wanting to enjoy her time with him until she had to go to the spa thing that the girls had planned. She had gotten herself a good portion of eggs, bacon and such. “So how is your arm?” she asked, as they found a spot to sit. “And are you going to be able to dance with me at the Ball?”

Roy chuckled at Vaka's appearance, softly.  "Well...SOME people wear stuff like that to the beach.  It'll do for today, and you can pick out some colors and styles that don't make you look like a tourist after you've had a little experience."  He waved Vaka over, remembering that he need to let the Occui JAG officer that had resolved Vaka's case know that Oggui had been among the fatalities last night.

"This is Vaka...he kills bad guys, too.  And, yeah, there's a lot of them, and it's a lot more common for the good guys to become bad guys than the other way around, so we're not gonna run out anytime soon."  He scooped up some more eggs on the toast.

"Don't think we'll ever kill 'em all...but maybe we can scare 'em so bad that they hide somewhere and stop doing so many bad things."  His words were muffled again by the bite of toast and eggs that he was chewing as he spoke.  Not proper etiquette, certainly, but he figured the kids would be more at ease if he was informal in his eating habits.

As Her Human was still concentrating on his mate, Mila wandered over to the youngsters and started to play with them.

As the three women passed them wearing their bikini's and shirts, a lazy smile would appear on Harry's face as she returned their waves clearly enjoying the sight of them as much as some of the guys "Hmm if you were in better shape and my hip wasn't banged up I'd be tempted to try my chances there" Harry whispered into Will's ear, chuckling mischievously at the thought before returning to her breakfast.

Looking around the room she would spot Nikki with Mitch and her adopted brood, and Lizzy with the tiny blonde chick that she'd flirted with on a previous shore leave and Izzy who she was shocked to see wearing a hooded sweatshirt and jeans of all things, which considering she usually went for short skirts and low cut tops was quite the change of pace. Then again perhaps she was going for an emo look today judging by the way she'd brushed hair to fall over one side of her face. Not that she was one to judge anyone's taste in fashion, after all she used to be covered in piercings and have a shaved head!

At the sight of the other reporter the colour would drain from Izzy's already pale skin as she quickly turned her face away from the shoulder cam Ce-Va was carrying "No thank you" she said in a voice that was barely above a whisper with the idea of appearing on TV looking the way she'd did to be truly horrifying. Also she was yet to tell her mother what had happened to her and didn't want her to find out this way as she would be upset enough as it was...truth be told she wasn't even sure if she wanted to tell her.

 Sam smiled at Izzy and replies," Yes I was on the screens last night Izzy, I heard everything, and made sure you got back to us, the Admiral actually wanted you back here. Yes please join us it will feel good, you need pampering, and I will send Garret a message ok Izzy."

 Sam smiled at Izzy and said quietly in her ear, and said," Izzy I know how you feel, I have many scars, they will heal if you need help dealing with the mental side I am a pro ok, just glad you are okay Izzy I thought we lost you out there. Yes come have fun with us."

 Sam looked at Ce-Va and she was nice about it but she understood why Izzy reacted the way she did.

 Lizzy smiled at Izzy and said," Oh ok that is great Izzy, I thought you where working the Ball, of course my love I would love to be your date my love." Lizzy smiled at her and wondered when she asked for the Ball off Lizzy thought to herself. " Yes my love we both need some pampering but you more Izzy,so sorry this happened to you but you will be fine and I will be with you."

 Lizzy then heard Ce-Va ask Izzy for an interview, Lizzy knew what she would say, plus Lizzy knew she hadnt call her Mom yet and wouldnt spring this on her Mom like this.

 Then Sam kissed Izzy and whispered into Izzy's ear, Lizzy was glad Izzy had a good friend who could get things done as well. Lizzy then sees Nikki, Harry, she looks for Melia, Gia, Billie and Comm.. Sarah to see if they where going to come with them for the spa day.

Lizzy smiles and then sends a comm to all of them : Group text comm message to Harry, Nikki, Melia, Gia, Billie, and Sarah: " Good morning Ladies the Spa day is on lets meet at LC Shadow's Condo meeting area and we will go from there, just so you all know Izzy was burned on her face last night hopefully she can stay with us for the entire day, thank you everyone hope to see you all."

Nikki was close enough to hear Ce-Va rather 'baiting' Izzy.  To Nikki that was in bad taste.
She waited until Ce-va continued her walking about.  Luck seemed to be on Nikkis side a bit as she was headed towards her table.  Nikki sook a sip of her tea (actually more like a swig) and still had more to go.  Raising a finger towards Mitch  she stood up indicating she was going for another round.  Turning quickly Nikki fained a slight stumble and sent her just less than half full cup of tea sloshing out all over Ce-Va.  Acting all wide eyed and 'caught off guard' Nikki cried out "Whoa!" giving Ce-Va a choice catch Nikki and get splattered with the tea or let Nikki fall (which was no big deal) still get splattered with the tea.  Yes Nikki got a bit on herself, but she didn't mind.  "Sorry about that" she said smiling as she stood back up "Seem to have two left feet today"

Meari nods and smiles at Vaka, she did think the sun glasses looked funny but she liked the outfit her wore, he had purple on.

 Arnie  smiled  as  they  ate, I'm going  down to the beach. I'll help out at the   bar stalls, but  Mainly , I'll help keep an eye on the kids  and  catch some  sun!

    Shadow  finished a  few strips of bacon and a 2nd toast, he  started  washing  dishes  along with  The two Admirals, but  a good  5 minutes into it , Captain Si and Dana  shooed them away to go get thier beach stuff.

   Beth  and  Flores   strutted  in, in thier   2  piece  suits   with  towels  around thier waists. Shortly after  Shadow  came  in  swim trunks and a towel   over his  shoulders,

   Shadow   moved to help  put  dishes and such away  as  he  Hit  the   ALL COMs..

 Now here this!..... We are going  down to the beach.. the  other   saved kids   are going to meet us there  as well as some others  from the ship.... I want all SEC folks who are going to be  'on duty'.. to try and relax, catch some rays, swim, eat.. have  fun...If you cannot  find  a fellow  SEC troopers to  mind your weapon while you play a bit,  Leave them witht he   Drink Stalls.. those will be  SEC folks   from Everest..Most of all? watch over the Kids, and make sure they have a good time...folks  can start leaving

  The  Kids  from the roof   had  gathered in the   condo after  bring in thier   bowls, a few were eating , 'left over" pizza  or sandwiches  from the tables

"Not that daft" Nikki smirked.  She turned to Haley and Roll "Okay you two...time for you guys to hit the beach" A big smile came across Haley as she grabbed her bag with her beach gear.
"Yeay!" she giggled out. and raced Roll and Gregor to the elevator"  Roll for his part gathered his pack too and Gregor.  Nikki did surprise both earlier in that they had new bathing suits.  Her explanation was they out grew the old ones.  Haleys was Green one piece with a multi colored sailing boat on it and Roll got a pair of dark blue trunks with red and white pinstripes that look like naval sailing rope.
She read her text after getting the kids off to the beach with a kiss and hug.  Even Gregor got a head skritch.  She then read her text and returned it 'Be there.  Hope CE-VA enjoys having tea stuck to her clothing'  She grabbed her second cup of tea looked at a few of the brass who seemed to chide her slightly.  she just responded with a smiling "Ooops" Then wandered back to Mitch who was gathering his things as well. "Well...whatever you have planned...be safe.  I want a tall dark good looking Lt. to night walking with me into the the lions den tonight" referring to the ball.  She cleaned up a bit as her tea cooled slightly.  Then she'd go and gather her few things for the spa day and meet the other gals.

 Meari smiled and nodded at her Granmod, she then followed her to the condo. Meari did not like the yellow one, the Lilac one she loved and tried it on then walked out to model it for Lilit and Dusk if she was still with them. " What do you think Grandmod?"

  Lilit  and one arm across her  waits, another   propped up her  chin with  the elbow resting on that are,

As much as Harry had enjoyed watching the SEC girls in their skimpy bathing suits her attention was immediately drawn to the lovely Dusk as she made an appearance with Lillit , with Harry more than appreciating her choice in swimwear...even if her father didn't.

With everyone going their separate ways Harry would read the pair of comms messages she'd received; the first from Lizzy telling her where to meet them for the spa day along with a heads up that Izzy was sporting a rather nasty set of scars, and another from Gia crying off so she could go to the beach with Machins instead. Personally Harry thought the guy was a complete arsehole but Gia was a big girl so she would leave her to figure it out for herself.

With Will getting up to head down to the beach, Harry would smile as he gently kissed her forehead, her cheeks turning a subtle shade of pink as she replied "Ok baby, you enjoy the beach, I'll see you later...oh and baby, if you pull, call me ok?" with her chuckling softly as she got up to walk over to where Lizzy and the fleet's tiniest women were currently sitting. Bad hip or not, if Will managed to sweet talk one of those lovely ladies she was more than happy to play, though she also fully realised that the chances of that happening were pretty slim. And so limping ever so slightly she would walk over to Lizzy's table and offer a friendly smile as she greeted the three of them "Morning ladies, are we all ready for today?"

With both Lizzy and Sam encouraging her to come on the spa day with them, Izzy would reluctantly agree, deciding that it would be nice to receive a little pampering even if she wasn't likely to be the life and soul of the party. That and she could really do with getting someone to sort out the singed hair she was currently sporting.

As Sam made her offer to be there for her if she ever needed someone to talk to, Izzy would give the barest nod of her head as returned the hug, squeezing her friend perhaps a little tighter than was strictly necessary "Thank you Sam...that means a lot to me" she whispered before breaking off the hug and resuming her position of hiding behind Lizzy as Harry walked up to them and said hi, with her once again reaching up to play with the hair covering her face.
