Jesse looked in the bar as she proceeded onward.  She noticed the hidden item but made no physical acknowledgement of it.  She did give a quick glance of who the guilty parties were.

She'd walk a block more then duck into an alley and backtrack to come out near the entrance but not within sight of the "smokers".

She wanted to see if she caught any interesting coversation between them.

  The  Vid  was exciting. Shadow  seemed to like it... Shade   just  munched..shaking his head from time to time.

 Dusk watched  more closely... watchign the  action footage that  was don with some mix-matching  gun cam vids, with some of the actors in their  'fighters'

 Or Captain Lighting on the bridge.   They were fighting  Largrans Thus  far,  the Vids  haven't  added the   Beta Quad  'villains' .

 How ever, a, thinly  disguised, Ge-fi was  shown sitting at  his  console as he ate various  Angel goodies  and spouted tirades at CAptain Lighting.


 The Crowd  was  shocked as a Long  Time regular was killed  on the boarding party mission. Seaman Granvile was torn to bits  by Largrans  as he held them off  for the rest of the team to escape.

 When the  Vids ended, a lot of the folks were heart broken, even to the point of complaining about the Vid.

 Shadow sat relaxing  as he waited for the crowd to thin. A woman, whose little boy was  teary eyes  at Granvile's passing, turned to him as she  waited for the aisle to clear...Is it that bad  out there?

 There was a tilt of  Shadow's head, and he looked at the little  boy, then back to her,...every time  we  fight..there are thousands of Granviles......

  Finally making their  way out of the  Vids, Shadow checked his COM and  sighed,...well folks..time for us to head  back.... I have to check on the fighters  with Capt Morris..make sure they can all fly ...

 Looking to Dusk,..when do you have to report to your ship.

 ...some time late tomorrow? He said he would COM me... I am not going back to  Veria, until we come back from this  cruise.

 Well...we'll kill some time on the ship, or you guys can do what you want without me..its up to you... You can stay in my Quarters  again...

  reaching the street , Shadow called  for a Taxi.

    on the walkway... Jesse had to  hug the 'hull' side of the railing to  come back towards the bar.

  They were some 50 feet above the 'street' of the Stem.  Once  used  as a system to deliver building materials in the Stem, the walkway on each side of the  Stem, gave folks a safer path from the Lowers to the Uppers.

 The  people who were  smoking  we laughing a bit, , more  concerned with another group of folks  walking towards the Lowers.

 A sign, dimly lit said  'Cran's'... the smells and sounds told  Jesse it was a bar and a low-end, eatery.

Melia looks at Orria, and her side arm. Then crouches to be at eye level with her, "Do you want to go play the games?" She asks. Orria nods excitedly taking her gaze from the play area for only the briefest of  moments. "Well mommy is going to need your sidearm," Melia explains gently, giving Orria the opportunity to decide what to do.

Orria thinks for a moment, and then eagerly unclips the belt holding it out to Melia, who takes it with a smile tucking it into her bag. "I'll keep it with me, thank you" she says pleasantly, but not trusting the locker system. She takes Orria's hand and they walk into the seating area.
