Captain Morris  smiled, I don't  think beth or the SGT  MAJ would let her  go, as she spends alot of time  with  SEC. She is also  The Interpertor  for  Shade, when   his sister or the LC cannot  be there.... Doctor Christie  would not  see her put of the vessel  either, i should think?

The  little  Gril that mech rider  adopted, stayed with us, until Hunter asked to  adopt her   and  keep her  at his   holdings in Scotland, But she  knew  Hunter, and...at the time..we thought it was safer  back there., My understanding he has   a compound , more or lesst. alot  things underground, but  he also sends out  Lights out  people  to

Re: MORRIS' Shed

I will send a COM Text to General Bale, he's in hi office doing paperwork to send out  for the upcoming Jump off. he will be ready for you.

I am not a legal expert, but we have  had   more then a few 'de-bonding' writs  we had to write up.. If i undersatnd it,  You will sign your name, and General Bale  will have a Porvost on the Med tech ship havd  Kristenson sign hers., if she does not sign, she will have to contst it, but the seperation will be in effect, once the contestation is setle, You'll either be back together, or  single. It is relatively simple, becazuse  of the fragility of our lives out here. One less Burdan is important.

He looks  at the  'washout' list in the  far corner of the  shed.we have  had those who have hurt us, pleanty with their cowardice  in facing  personal problems. It speaks well of you to take this   step  for you and Orria.

<Brown>I sent the COM.. Genral Bale  will be expecting you. I shouldn't take to long seeing him, busy time, this.</Brown>

Re: MORRIS' Shed

<<<<<<<< from Hanger

as they walked In, Morris looked a bit  surprised. Is there a Problem, LC. It was unserstood, Captain Shadow  would have the  quarters that  the Warlord has, when she  comes on board.

Dusk   smiled, Yes?  this is so, but, SGT Grite wanted to stay in my quarters  as Body  guard, Father  said that cannot happen.

It is   an Insult  to me... to my Captain.

 still not happening , Sparky...

 Grite  glared  at Shadow.

Captain Morris  swiveled in his  chair, to face them.'Father' , is correct. The  Vip quarters  do have separate bedrooms, but they all must be entered through the  main doors, and travel through the Living  area. This provides, precious little privacy .

The other  Concern , is , we permitted  Captain Si's   sister and her EDT angels   to   share  two VIP  quarters.. when it becaome  known, that the EDT was a toolo for the  Empire, rather then fighting against them,  we had a  shot out there. So? No  Body guard are permitted to share  room. He is more the welcome to   stand outside you door, or? to spend  time  Inside the  quarters, for brief  persoid. Of course, those  entries  will be records, and  if  concern arises, SEC will show  up to make certain, every thing is as it should be.

his eyes look up at SGT Grite.you will be on enlisted  Dec, in the Non COM section... there is another  Undenese  SGT there. She knows the ropes, more or less.

I will send  word  for the   crew to get your quarters Ready. Captain  Shadow?  The Warlord  will leave shortly, she  said she would stay until you returned, to save   a shuttle  trip.

SGT  Grite, please take advantage of the rec Dec, your first meal  is on  The LC...

Morris Chuckled and Nodded to Endre as the Chief  saluted them and Moved off..Thought you'd be getting  food and drink  after the run?  LC pays  for a Meal anda drink after the Runs... I suppose you are interested in your Quarters.

Morris  nodded, gave him a sharp, if not easy going  salute.relax  Ensign,  You  were  reported on duty when the Chief  took and copied your disc,  at the shuttle... you performed  your first  Hermes  action by  doing the tunnel run. there are some people  who didn't  do that?

Grab a donut, and a drink... cold or  hot , over there... Now? Your  quarters  are ready, you'll  be taken  up0  that way and  pounch in your code.

he sipped his tea  and said,Officer's  Dec, don't you know..hmm? you'll be   closer  to the engine room,  New  folks are billeted   further from the elevators. Shadow is  on the stern side of the elevators  with   the rest of the LTs  and  down. so if you need to talk to him he'll there.. the Bow side of the  Officers  Dec  , are LCs and Up..again..except for Shadow

You have  an questions?

I'm sure i can find it Sir. thank you. No questions right now.
Stavros hoists his dufflebag on his shoulder again and awaits being dismissed. When given the go-ahead he moves out of the shed and back on the deck. He takes a quick tour past the fighters then, eager to finally get one under him and fullfill his life long dream.

Then he goes to find his quarters.

Morris  had  returned to his office  to set up the  film study he would  have to do, when this action was finished.

Captain Morris  took the  Disc  , slipping it  into his  the pocket with her    aircraft number. well, that is a good showing, we'll see what   gets  confirmed ..hmmm? he leaned  back  in his  chair, His right arm    reaching Up to support his   chin, as that  Arm  rested on the arm of the  squeaky  swivel chair.

Young  Haley... she  was on the bridge  , i noticed. Do we know if the Rec dec  women asked  her to help..... he  let that hang there  for a second or two,..or did  she  go AWOL from the  bunker? You know, if something happens to her out there. The ESN cannot be held responsible... Young Roll has  settled into the   role of being  the cadet Larg Master. and, in truth, the Largs  are   as likely to rally around him, as  Doctor  Christie, I do  understand, she has  no other  family here  but you, as far as Blood  lines go. If you are
alright with her being on the Hanger  dec  when we go in,  I can choose to look the other
way. But the choice is yours.

"As far as I know she was never on the dec proper.  She was on the hangar dec where the ladies from the Recdec were serving sandwiches and stayed out of the way." Nikki stated calmly "When I returned from our mission I found out what she did and why.  I have been talking with her about it and the consequences. I admit it is getting harder since she is now taller and can reach more buttons on the lift.  I also explained that being scared is no reason not to be safe.  even gave her a bit of a guilt trip in that I am supposed to keep her safe, and if she runs I cannot do my job.  what would the other pilots think of me?"
she gave Morris a bit of crooked smile.  "Plus we are going to talk more about this and about what is going on with the Hermes children versus the Hermes pack.  I hope it can be resolved where they can just be kids and not enemies"

She gestured to the tea and hot water he had going before continuing.  "May I?  your brand of orange pekoe is excellent, very aromatic and pleasing" then waited for approval or not.  "Yes, I worry about her like any good parent about her safety.  As well, I know she feels safe when she is with Roll and Sneak.  She feels more confident when with those who were 'stem rats'. You know they now call themselves 'The Hermes Pack'? from what Haley tells me." in a way Nikki felt rather proud they were part of Hermes "I've talked to Spencer and SEC about several non-Pack causing trouble on the civie side.  Haley has spoken that she is not confident with them as they are causing trouble right now.  I am tempted to agree with her.  I believe she might be safer hanging about Doctor Christies lab or with Sneak at the table helping the ladies there.  She knows she is to listen to what she is told, not to bother those doing their work, and not to be on the flight dec proper"

Re: MORRIS' Shed

Captain Morris looked   embarrassed  as he waved to Nikki  to help herself..ack... I beg your pardon,  I am used to others  helping themselves, unless they are new, please? help yourse3lf.

he listens  sipping his own tea,I have  standign orders  at  Carrier stations for a  few crates of my favorite  teas.. pay for them myself , so no one things  i am  putting hardship on the Hermes . Its  creds well spent, and  I do not have much to spend  creds on.

Then he address  the    Hermes Pack I do not believe, anyone one the vessels, out side of Beth and   The LC, understand the  'pack"... Maybe? Admiral Roles.  Admiral  HAck may have a bit of a grasp on them, as he dealt  with   the three i mentioined, in tier  younger days...

we have three kidbns of Civies  at any given time? We have those who sign up, and will transfer out, at a colony, or station they think suits them  and thier  skills....

another sip.....we have those  who signed up  to be part of the war..like the forge  folks, and some of the non-military Techs. They seem to stay  with The Hermes  , alot longer.

Then? there are the Bad Hats... they signed up to get away from some trouble, either of thier making, or that they fell into . Those  are the  peopoe who make the Civie  section , less then  happy. But we've seen it in our own ranks? Crew  who think they are  better then others, or worse? have no thoughts  about thier   shipmates...

I am sure SM  Spencer  will  meet with me, when he deems it  nessessary to the people  in the Civie section... Until then, I will give him his latitude to deal with it as he may....SEC, carries alot of authority,  Civies  may not  quite understand that......yet.

Nikki made her tea, enjoying the soft orange scent first then a dollop of honey in it "Nectar of the Gods" and enjoyed the first sip.  She listened to Morris as he talked of the civilians "Plus there are those working the farm area.  I know many are hardworking honest folk.  Just the one or two bad apples in the bunch.  I am just hoping they don't even try to pressure others to do something stupid." she took another sip, truly enjoying it "Oh, side note here... Haley and I are making roll and a few others a treat basket of cookies and muffins.  I will bring you one to enjoy.  after we are done with this battle and hopefully before the Briss are moved in"she laughed lightly "That will be interesting.  Doc Christie thinks things will be okay"

Re: MORRIS' Shed

Roy grimaced slightly as he stepped into the shed.  "No need to rush on my account, Ensign..." he answered, with a smile, before turning back to Morris.

"I'm...aware of the situation, and taking steps to address it as precisely and fairly as I can.  Part of it, I think, comes from the fact that hunkering down in a bunker runs counter to every survival instinct most of the stem kids have...for them, mobility was life, so when their new families tell them they've got to climb in a hole for safety, they feel like they're being packed up like spam in a can, Sir.  The families don't understand and feel like the kids are being rebellious, and the civvie kids think the stem kids are showboating or trying to make them look like they're afraid...and if that's the case, I don't see a good way to resolve the issues altogether."  He scowled a little at the thought.

"I'll have to think on that one a while longer, but there may be some acceptable compromises to be made.  In the meantime, I'll deal with the more blatant and egregious issues as best I can."  He shrugged...it was the best he knew how to do, especially as he could see both sides of the issue.

He cleared his throat slightly, coming back to the topic on his mind.  "I wanted to touch base with you about instructions for the troopers on the captured Angel ships.  If we had the time, for sure, then I'd say don't worry about it and I'd take a group of our own people and Stoly and go take care of it myself, but we don't know how much time we have, really, and they're already there."  While the words spoke of acceptance of the situation, his posture spoke of annoyance and resignation.

"Basically, they need to search for MedTech, and maybe some secondary areas...we didn't have time to make a full sweep of 47 to see if there were more places, so the instructions should probably go to that crew, as well.  They're looking for a locked cabinet, about so high, so wide, and so deep," he explained, using his hands to indicate the dimensions.  "The contents are fragile, so they need to be careful about it, but if they can't find keys, their best bet is to cut the hinges off the outside and just remove the doors that way.  The vials will be full of either silver or blue liquid, and need to be packed carefully for transport...we don't know what skin exposure will do, but every other kind of exposure we've documented has involved extreme physical reactions, and those have all been under controlled circumstances with experienced medical personnel standing by, so they damn well better not dick around with it."  He paused for a moment, thinking, and then said, "And feel free to quote me on that one, if you want, just so they know exactly how important it is."

He grinned, then continued, "Contents of said cabinets are to be transported DIRECTLY to the Hermes and placed in Stefi's care.  This should all be done with all due haste, since we don't know how long we have before we tangle with the Angels again and we don't want them trying to get transport shuttles through a fighter screen to the Hermes."

She smiled "I do owe you a goodie basket, for the wonderful tea" she was about to leave when Roy suggested she stay.  she decided to oblige.  She listened to what he would say, might prove enlightening.
She then listened about an angel drug.  "SM, well not sure if I should ask you or some else.  If no more can be found is there a way we can make it?  to me it sounds like it might be a derivative of those 'Angel lilies' we manage to acquire" she looked at him "Perhaps looking for recipe book on how to create it would be quite useful" she suggested.  "If possible, I would not mind going on that hunt.  If Shadow, Fitzsimmons, and Hack and our Captain would allow it." She was qualified to be part of a boarding party.

Captain Morris  gavce   Nikki a look...we lost three pilots  already. I doubt, The LC  would pelasd to  have one  do a search, when we have   alot of SEC  folks. I wager to say, he would  allow it in a moment, if we were not on stand by.. There are already toops  on the two Prison Hulks  and the #47...   I will send a message to the  84   and 63, for the  troopers on board  to search, and hope they haven't already raided  much... they have been doing Cred searched.. so we shall  see...

Tapping on the   Desk COM a Tired Beth's voice amnswered,Aye , Sir. what do you need?

Send a message to the Offcier in charge of the  #84  and #63.. they are to have a unit  go to the Main Med tech area,  and  remove  the items  in metal  cabintes , that will be locked... those  items need to be  packed carefully and sent to the   Hermes  for  Lt Simmons to deal with...

 Aye , Sir. Already Done...

beth? do  gets some rest, the  pot  will be boiling again, we need you sharp, eh?

Aye, Captain, will try to so so  , after i send the message.

Right then, Carru on...  Morris holds  his hand   out and sigsh, best we  can do , I'm afraid...at this time... maybe if things  go are way this next round, we can do some hunting on our own.
