10 minutes  or  so, After the meadowlark  left, the hard thumping of   heavy boarding  boots  could be heard.

 The  open door   soon had   the Blue  armor of the  ESN Marines... LT Vitas... ESN  Hersey .... we  have  troops   taking  down your  weld  barriers, looks like you did  alright.

  Shade  took the   Largrans  side arm and  belt   before  sitting  down and Bleeping , while pointing at the screens.

 Vitas  looked around , waving   His COMs  troopers to  Shade,,, Shade Bleeped  and whirled, knowing  , full well the  trooper  couldn't under stand.. but  he would point to a  toggle switrch   and a button on the touch Screen, showing the  Trooper what he was saying ( more or less)

 after a few Moments, Shade got out of the chair  and the trooper  sat   down  flicking  toggles and  pressing touch screens,Lt?   we have eyes  everywhere But the Hold..not much lighting  down there... lots  of crates  and such

 Lt Vitas got on his COMs,LT  Frogen? when you have checked what's left of the Engine  room, send  people into the  Hold.. work your  way to the Bow... I'll have  some units get  into the  Bow section and work thier  way through to you..all units... stand  by  for partition lift...

 he pointed at Shade.. Shade showed the trooper  and the   harsh whirls  of underpowered   motors  and   , heavy thuds, as the partitions   locked back into place

 I'll send The Colonel a COM to send  another drop ship into the hanger Dec, Thank you SM..when you go to leave, change the beacons to green... this one is ours...

  the  people who were  with Shadow  , already started to  fire... swearing   and pounding of  consoles  as 37 MM  ran out, and Heavy pulse was  the order of the day

 several  shuttles  Blew  up, it was a matter of time before   , what was left of the Hermes  fighter  wing  could  clean them up . as the fighter  cover  was being taken  care of by the  other ships' fighters.

Getting Lippen to the med bay was a bit tricksie with Meari helping. Where Roo had one shoulder tucked under an arm of Lippy's, Meari was too tall to make that workout well and was basically doing a standing bench press under Lippen's arms as they moved. Roo marveled at the other female's strength and made a mental note to stay on her good side.

With their charge safely between them, the trio hustled to the Med Bay and got Lippy on a bed. Roo stayed tight to Lippen's side, not sure of the procedure of the Hermes from this point forward and wanted to make sure she was available to assist.

 After the Meadowlark landed and the Hermes troopers got off, Lizzy said to Tulliun," Meadowlark you are clear, good hunting, going to kill some Demon shuttles."

 Lizzy and Nikki then came from the soine and headed for the closest Demon shuttles. Lizzy would evade and shoot the fighters only if she had a clear shot, she was going after shuttles and trying to kill them all as fast as Nikki and her can.

"Roger that, Lieutenant...the ship is yours." He gave a nod and salute, and made a gesture with one finger whirling in the air above his head.

"Let's pack it up, people, and see if Stoly can get us to the Hermes in time to do something useful."  He gave Shade a thump on the shoulder, then stepped over to the largs.  "Stick with us...they should all be our people, and they should know who you are, but I'm not entirely confident one of them wouldn't panic and shoot at you if they see you barreling down the hall at them."  His voice was lowered, slightly, not necessarily trying to keep the dropship troopers streaming onto the bridge from overhearing but definitely making it clear that the words were meant for the largs.

"Form up!  Double-time it back to the shuttle!  Stoly, we're on our way, have her ready to burn back to the Hermes."  Now that he wasn't focused on the ship here, he could start formulating some ideas for how to best aid the Hermes forces, depending on what the situation was when they got there...

Zob when given the order to head on back to the shuttle packed up his things and followed alongside Larry, "You did good Larry" he then pet him on the head and climbed aboard the shuttle.

From his position on the ramp of the Meadowlark, Tulliun could see the dog fights unfolding and watch the blue and green 'surrender' lights popping on and changing over all around the Matterhorn.

He was just about to break the ice with his gunner when a voice broke into his helmet, making him flinch slightly.

Lt Morrow  to   Meadowlark... we need you to  get to the farside of  Matterhorn..a Vessel called Aura Moon is there..you need to pick up, whatever they have for us...

He stood up, Parcel on the Aura Moon, far side of the Matterhorn. Copy that LT, on my way.

He called up the bubble hatch, Hey LU-NM! I guess I'm going to the far side of the Matterhorn for a pick up, are you staying for the trip, or do you need to disembark?

  LU-NM   called  down... well You're not  going there  with no Gunner if you have to get somehting and bring it back, it  must be  important?

 he held up a hand  with one finger , then hit his COMs,MC..this  is LU-NM, I'm going witht he Meadowlark to retrieve  something  for the Hermes...

Outstanding. Tulliun stated thankfully. Tulliun looked to check if he had packed any more mags for the nose cannon. He grabbed any he found and made his way back to the cockpit, stowing and locking his P90 in place.

He lifted off, this time able to take the time to let the ramp close properly first. After all the dust settles, I'm buying you a drink, PVT. You've more than earned it as far as I'm concerned.

He turned the shuttle toward the far side of the Matterhorn, looking for where the least traffic was to weave a safer path to the Aura Moon.

Once he had his path in mind, he took off toward his destination.

  As the meadowlark  took off, they could see Frans Flight hovering over Stoly's Spade.. Frans    sent Lina  Craft and Fig Bottoms, to escort the Shuttle.. Lina had senority and COMed  the meadolark.

  It took a  good   15 minutes to  see the Massive  station grown in thier  eyes... Capships , lookign like shuttle shuttles  Compared to the  Uppers...not to mentioned the whole of the station.

  and there it was,  the lower  port side of the  engine   room, three largrans  were    burning a  hole... it seems, That lie the largran fighters... Thier cap ships  have thinner armor then the  APF  counter  parts as thier Burners seemed to be having problems

Tulliun did as he was told, slowly and gingerly maneuvering his previously drunken shuttle into position to back into the narrow space on the Hanger Dec.

He was indeed surprised at the limited amount of space available on the Dec, but the space was more than what he'd thought he'd have, based on the Captain's order.

He eased the Meadowlark into position and set her down. He let the ramp down.LU-NM, if you want a chance to stretch your legs, it sounds like we got a while. I'll call you when we're about to leave. he pointed at his coms.

Just as you ramp was in place a large powered flatbed, loaded with three large 11'x 7'x 6' crates, motors forward. A hulking driver hops out of the cab, you read the name Shea on his overalls  Names Cornelius. he introduces, thrusting forward a large meaty hand to shake. Dis be near the oddest Load Ay've moved; that weren't bound for the black. he comments as he smacks a heavily calloused hand on the top of the three crates. You notice each is marked with LSSC, this side up, along with four arrows along the crates 8' length. You right loaden them aboard? he asks casting an assessing eye in the shuttles hold.

Zob left the heavy pulse gun on the shuttle what he needed here was mobility and accuracy so he pulled out the vampic RPG and stepped down the ramp making sure his magna boots were active he with the others advanced forward and when he got within range of the burners he took aim and fired the Vampic RPG looking to hit all three of them in the blast radius.

Regardless if he was successful or not he would then grab his assault rifle and take aim through the scope then fire controlled bursts at center mass up towards the head on any that remained.

I've learned, after more deliveries than it should have taken, not to ask about what I'm hauling. I know I'll get paid, and it ain't slaves, so, nothing else matters to me. Although, I won't be able to heft those in myself.  Is there a machine that can help us with that?

He looked in his cargo area and back to the crates, then cargo area again. If you stack them like a pyramid, I should be able to fit them all.

 LU-NM nodded  as he looked out  through the static field, The battle at the hrems was a bright spot  about  as big a Cup Coaster  from here...

 Matterhorn fleet ships  were   moving slowly, they showed alot of damage, from before the Gleet had  arrived. There are a pair of  Hermes  Piltos  egaer to get back and help?... when we do get back?  we will have to land on the spine... That hanger dec  is going to be a mess.

  as the Troops  Moved  down the  ramp, Zob's  weapon hit,  But, only affected  the  largan in the Middle, which was fine, since he was doing the Cutting.

  By the time  Zob switched over  and took  aim, he wounded a Largran, but?/... in space, that's  about all you need if the seals   can't  close the  opening.

 The other  one fired  Largran  Hard ammo, two  round   ding off  Zob's armor another One  went Over  Shades  he, The smaller  Undenese  , seemingly board to Magboots ran  down the  hull  his  SMG  firing  at the Ramp as other   largrans   began to spill out.

 One   largran  was  hit, and  floated  Off  the  ramp , trying to grab  the shuttle, but sailed off into the Black

 Then...Zob saw it..a  Crate of  what would be  Largan C-10.... they were going to Blow the Hermes  engine stack

 Fran's  Yelled,Dammit Shadow  you have red lights on!

 yeah, yeah, i know..but i gotta   finish this,  i'm close  enough to allies , that some one should pick up my POD.

Zob called out, "They have a whole crate of C10 we need to get it off this hull!" then two rounds dinged off his armor and he just snarled as he pressed forward and Zob returned the favor with full auto fire from his assault rifle as he aimed to kill the burners and any others in his goal to secure the explosives.

Cornelius slipped back onto the loader, in less than six minutes had the crates stacked and ready to go. Giving Tulliun a thumbs to indicate he should head out when ready. Rotating the flatbead 180 Cornelius made his way further into the loading area giving an over the shoulder wave as he did.
