Tulliun had made sure LU-NM was secure in the bubble before the last crate blocked his hatch.

He was able to stay at the back as Cornelius loaded the crates. He waved as the man drove off, then scrambled over the left side crate and made his way to the cockpit.

Captain Surr, Meadowlark all loaded, requesting permission to depart and return to the Hermes. he called on the coms as he fired up the shuttle and raised the ramp.

The  Hyrian    answered,Go..and Luck of the gods go with you.... If you see Gresh, Tell him i will get my payment on Etna...

Tulliun marked the transmission acknowledged and falls in behind his escorts and opens the throttle.

 as the meadowlark   watched the conflict area  Grow larger,  the drew near.

 he saw the   weapons  fire   at the spine  dorsal Fin and the  thruster Stack.. it  appeared  that the Spade  had laned there, and were taking on a Shuttle of Largran Boarder.

  The Hermes  people  spread out.. The Larg Master Holding  the Largs , until  he was ordered to release them.  A trickly Business with Largs  and no atmo..

Zob  closed in  , Shade was  coming from the  right... a largan was charging to meet  hit...neither were slowing  down...

 Hoke  yelled  as a  round hit his  chest, Coar   jumped and   grabbed  his  arm to  pull him back to the  Hull.. Brooks grabbed  his   leag and the two   hustled  him back towards  the  spade... they would need to  fly the shuttle  to the VIP pad...2 miles   on magboots  with a bleeding shipmate was way too far to run.

 Lizzy and Nikki zoomed around the Hermes shooting at shuttles, Lizzy and Nikki both got three in a row, making a total of 6 shuttles they got together. They where about to turn and head to another group when Lizzy got hit hard, and her lights flashed, it took all her skill just to get things working again. She had flashing lights all over still, she should head to the top of the Hermes as defense, but they needed to get the shuttles.

 Lizzy looked out and saw there where some fighters and very few shuttles left, and the whole Hermes wing that was still flying where here. Lizzy decided to do the right thing, and head for the Hermes. Lizzy says on fighter Comms, " This is Lizzy I have been hit hard, stabilized now but still yellow lights. LC going to head to top of Hermes as home defense, if I can figure things out I will be back Sir." Lizzy wiould then with draw from the combat zone comm'ing Nikki," I have too head back, the bastard got me good, go hook up with someone Nikki." Lizzy then switches too fighter comms, " LC sir Nikki needs a wingman, pulling back now."

 Lizzy flew the best she could, trying to figure out exactly how bad she was hurt, Lizzy flew up to the top and comm'd , " Lizzy here where do you need me trying to figure out how badly I was hit. "

Tulliun could see that things were getting dicey on top of the Hermes. Fighters escorting Meadowlark, I'm sure you can see how things are over there, as soon as you are clear, break away and get them some help. I'll find somewhere to park it, until the smoke clears.

He immediately began looking for a ship near enough and in good enough shape to take his shuttle, waiting to see the fighters leave him behind.

  Lizzy   swings  up to the Top of The Hermes... Umbra  is more or less parked above the bridge...welocme to   the  club... The LC sent me up here..only have one good thruster...

 from the  top of the Hermes, she could see  fighters all over the black, shotting, flying and dying..some Limped off , one way or the other  trailign  white or black smoke, if one looked real hard   , they could see Pods  floating around..Just in the general area of the hermes, there were 4  Largran cap ships  with Blue or Green beacons..

there were three  shattered   Creshian vessel, broken in half ,  or had  fires  bruning   inside, showing through thier   'largran like' double  sided hnager decs..the point  was easy to see...no creshian vessels  captured.

Roy swung his weapon up and sent shots zipping over Shade's head at the Largran.  His money was on the Udenese, anyway, but a little insurance never hurt.  "Send the largs into that shuttle.  If they have anyone left in there, I'm pretty damned sure they aren't expecting largs.  We'll follow and patch them up if the Largrans get lucky enough to wing them."

He glanced at the crate as he moved.  "Those explosives should be salvageable!  If they were going to damage the engines from out here, the Largrans wouldn't have been trying to cut into the ship.  I'm guessing they haven't even had detonators set yet, much less armed...get our demo guys up there.  If we can capture it, that's a small fortune worth of C10, and the Largrans usually make pretty good stuff."

 Zob was  closing in on the  'hole' the largrans were trying to  cut through, he would reach the Hole, before the  two carrying the crate  and thier one escort would. The  escort fired at Zob Three times

....... Roys   rounds went over the  head and shoulder of Shade, the  slight 'downhill', caused two of the to sail  , and eventually  hit the  bow of the enemy shuttle. The third shot  hit   The  Largan in the  left shoulder, as it turned from the   impact, hit magboots  gripped,  and Shade  drove   into the Largrans   legs , the Largran's  arms  went Up, his weapon sailing off into the Black..  One  Bone  shoe thould the  metal-fiber the Largrans used for  enviro suits , the other  leg was  bend  sideways, in a way, most humanoids don't  bend... Shade grabbed the largran's  chest plate, so he  could get his own mageboots down, . while   puling the trigger on his SMG to shatter the  head  inside the helmet. He  Turned  and Gave Roy a thumbs up, heading towards  the  Cockpit.

 Disna  'ran' with the  Largs, none of them, 'experts' at Magboot  running,  as they neared the  Shuttle,  Disna  press the   button on his   leashes  to   let the  Largg   go... the  two  beasties   charged into the  Cargo   area,  as Globs of Fehs  Blob  and  weapons  fire  drifted out...

 will  folowed  Zob  and was trying to get a shot at the  largrans, with out hitting Zob, the closer he  got, the better his chances...

  Tulliun sees the actons on the spine  at one end, and the other...he knows he has  3 choices.... Land on the spine by the VIP pad....land in the Middle  , or try to get access the ESN CH001 New York.. that was, just now, pulling  away from a buring, creshian Vessel, ignoring any   of The  Creshian Pods that ejected.

 Lizzy acknowledged Umbra and replied,Yes I am still trying to figure out what is wrong with mine still. Lizzy would then check her systems, see what was working and what wasn't working.  Lizzy watched and if any one got close she would open fire.

Zob continued to push up taking shots as he advanced as he reached the hole area they were trying to cut, he was greeted by incoming fire, one of which pinged off his armor he was thankful the armory folks reinforced it well.

He noted Will behind him and took a 5 foot step off to Zob's right to clear his line of fire, Zob then took aim again and opened fire on those that remained.

Tulliun saw the events unfolding with the crate the Largrans were hauling from the shuttle. He knew he couldn't get a clear shot with Zob and the otherS, so he flew over head, just out of reach of the rpg blast, seconds before it went off, hopefully distracting the Largrans enough to give Zob an advantage.

He saw the two soldiers 'carrying' the other one, he figured they'd be going for the VIP pad to get him inside quick, so he landed just forward of the rearmost soldier going astern, pointing his nose down toward the stern, maybe LU-NM could give some cover fire.

  Nikki  swung about  and  Landed on the  spine, facing the  starboard side of the  Hermes...   Three shuttles  left..

   Shadow   came   up from Under the  Middle  one, firing his port side  Heavy pulse, as  his 37 MM was dry and the starboard  weapon was gone... his  starboard wing trailed   sparks from where that gun used to  be...  the  pusle pounding broke through the fading shields, , Blowing the  Shuttle up..

  Chatty  Smitty finished of  another, and   Foster the last one...-

 Delta Fleet WCs..... regroup over your  vessel,  Don't  chase  any  past the Morrow Buoys... Healthy aircraft stay in the  air, cripples  and and heavy damage  land  first...

Roy ran alongside Disna, weapon ready, toward the shuttle...to either finish off the crew of the vessel or clean up the largs, or both.  He had faith in his team to handle the situation at the site where the Largrans had been attempting to breach the hull...he was determined to cut off the flow of any additional Largrans that might try to intervene.

 Lizzy watched as the LC and the Hermes Flight wing took out the last of the shuttles, Lizzy was happy, and she hoped Izzy and all her friends on the Hermes where safe. Lizzy did hear that the Hanger Dec got hit hard, she hoped she didnt loose anyone she knew.

 When Shadow came over on comms, Lizzy listened and acknowledged, she would be one of the first in, she had no hydraulics and it was going to be fun trying to land, thats why she was flying and not landing on the spine. Lizzy would hope they got the Hanger Dec cleared soon, she wasnt sure how long she could keep her fighter flying, luckily they where in the black, if she was atmo she would be fucked a lot more.

 Hemsly  ran down to the crate  as the Largrans  were dropped, inside the largran shuttle, it was a charnel house,  trapped inside  a the  cargo area with  two rampaging  Largs.

 about  5 minutes..maybe less the shuttle is quiet... limbs and  blood Globules  floated out.. Larry and  Nok were trying to  wipe   the Gore off their  helmets, there heads turnign  leaft and right as they tried to see.

  Hemlsy   looked at the Largran crate.....Bloody nine 'ells..there must be  200 pounds of that stuff in here, it  wouldn't a blow a big bloodly 'ole, and' that's a fact...

 he  checked the Crate, and shrugged...Still wrapped up... I guess they were gonna wire it  after they set it in the hole, Whatca  thing  there  Zob?  Think ye kin carry that over to
 the Spade..

 there was a  was two Flashed of  light  , the  farside  cock pit door  opened  and the Pilot  floated  away..well..all but his head..that was gone.. Shade popped  out and gave a thumbs up.

Will checked the One   he  had shot that was   stuck  with its magboots... he took the  dead troopers  ridle, and  unsnaped the boots to let the body float away

Tulliun cast his face down, disappointed that he had missed out on the defence of the Hermes, he hoped the crates were worth quite a bit for him to have not been useful in this situation.

He decided to see if he could be of service anywhere else around the Hermes. He'd check the top of the ship, then fly around the static field to see if he could see where he could help.

When all the threats were neutralized he walked on over behind Hemsly and looked over the crate, "Yeah that could of been a big problem" he then slung the rifle on his back he would need both hands to lift the crate back to the shuttle.

With a small grunt he gripped both sides of the crate and lifted it from the ground and slowly made his way back to the Spade upon walking up the ramp he called out, "Out of the way big package coming through!" he then set it off out of the way.

 Brooks  Looked at Zob,Hey Zob..we gotta get Hoke to med tech.. we patched him and his suit..but  he needs looked at..

  Stoly  leaned back,As Soon as  everyone is   ready we'll go...even if  we can't  land   we can drop the ramp

  Tull couldn't see any more enemies, other then the Bodies  and parts  floating away from the stern shuttle the largrans once owned.

Tulliun remembered what LC had declared over the coms. So, he decided he would keep meandering around the area around the Hermes, just hang about till someone called for the crates he had in his cargo area.

Zob looked to Brooks and nodded, "Contact Med Tech and have them meet us at the VIP entrance area" he then walked over to Hoke and sat next to him, "Just a flesh wound you will be up in no time" he said trying to cheer him up.

Roy grabbed what he hoped was some kind of fabric as he verified the shuttle was clear, taking a moment to wipe the visors clean for the largs...or at least to try and squeegee enough of the Largran blood to the sides that they could see.  "That's gonna be a mess to clean up," he grunted softly.  With no atmosphere, the liquid in the blood was vaporizing rapidly, leaving a congealed crust that was more freeze-dried than anything.

"Looks like we got it intact...let's close it up and get back, we can let someone know it's here and ready to be picked up.  I'm sure Matterhorn will find a use for a shuttle, no matter whose it was in the first place.  Although..."  He hmphed softly, thinking about it.

"They'll probably have to rebuild the cockpit, anyway...not many pilots in the APF the same size as a Largran.  But it should be a simple swap procedure, rather than having to figure out what runs which controls and connect them to a new system."  He shrugged slightly.  "Not our problem.  Someone else gets paid to worry about that crap."

He looked around again.  "Give 'er a quick once-over...make sure there's not some dead-man switch or something that's gonna detonate her right here on the hull.  Then let's get back...sounds like fighting on the Hangar Deck how wound down, but I'm sure they'd like to have us all accounted for."
