 people  broke up  , heading to thier Condos  and rooms...

  with in 2hours....the smell of  bacon, eggs  and toast,filled the Condo.   Shadow didn't look too much  worse for  wear as he   cracked  eggs  and laid out  strips of  bacon.

 The    Kids  got the  first wave  of  Food, they all went out on the roof   to eat and  watch  the  star that served  as this systems 'sun' rise. Glasses of   chocolate Milk, white Milk, and what passed for ornage Juice  were set up..the kids  talked  and laughed , the new kids were feelign odd...clean, nice clothes,, The others  kids told them  about the swim suits  and that they would all be at the beach to  play and swin  and get food from the stalls for free!

  Bit  Bu  bit  crew started to show up..Flores in a two piece  and a short beach robe, while beth  frowned  and  had on a most of her dress unifrom, her  tunic  was , well away, from the food.

  Shade  buttered the toast as it  Came out, The Admiral showed up to help with the Bacon... from time to time a strip of bacon Vanished   and founds its  way to  one of the Largs who  were sitting at attention.

 they also got to  greedily eat the shells from the  eggs.

 Thor  seemed to be fond of bacon.

 they  filled the  Bowls with  Bacon and  eggs, while stacking up toast,  The Admiral would  ask...how is it  goign to go?

 Beth answered,  general Meeting.. a rehash of how the Sol System ships were divided up...as well as those volunteers  who  resigned thier status as Sol System Navy, they have been parceled out, no more then 2  per ship...

 Paradise  will make its  case for entering  the APF.... and then New Business....after the slate is clean..the vote  will come up  by show of lights....Paradise will  know, right then and there, what thier  chances , if  any of getting in...

 the thing with Vicrock? That's  gonna go badly..

 beth shrugged,As long as  its  fast, Admiral..i want to hit the beach.

 Meari would help out and then hit her room for a few hours of sleep. She would volunteer to be outside the conference as a Guard if they wanted too show the Races, If not she would set up a beach day with Frakas if he was up for it.

 She would then head too bed and get rest.

Zob was dressed in a off duty uniform nothing special as he stepped out into the kitchen area wanting to get a cup of coffee to make up for the lack of sleep, "Coffee ready?" he asked as he moved his way past Flores before stopping to take a look at her figure and gave an approving nod

 Flores   chuckled at  Zob's  look as she got her  plate. Rol and Haley went out  with the Kids on the roof.

   Admiral Richards popped in, she  had  on her dress  slacks but wore  a  Etna T-shirt, she pointed  across the way...Oliver?  You Have  Guests?  they are wondering  why you left...

 The Admiral dished out a plate of  eggs  bacon and toast  to her...I spent enough time with suits....going to have to put up  with them  for  2 hours or  so at the Conference... Nil
 and Elge  can handle them..Gresh likes to talk... I want to  be  with  my people.

  Richards  took the plate, it wasn't anything like, what was offered  at the Admiral's , or even the  dining  room...she  took a bite, and shrugged,..This  isn't terrible, LC...

  Supe leaned back his  head and  smiled  at Admiral Richards...Come  down to the Beach, Ma'am..get  some sun, free  stall food  all day...

 Eckles giggled,Just making sure  the guys  know   what's waiting for them , when you all get out of the Meeting...

  Lippen  loked at Admiral  Richards , a bit  embarrassed...some others loked as she  leaned against the counter  , eating.

 I was a Pilot, from ensign to Captain. mostly  on Mars...got  my first ship, 2nd mars  bout...until some  over generous  Commander pulled me into the Delta Fleet, to captain one  of his weapons....we had shore leaves back then, Ladies...most of us took full advantage, some  took none.....The ones  who  'stayed safe'  and died?..missed out on any good side  of  angel food longevity...Those   who did  too much? spent  too much time in the rack, and never had the  feeling of being  a real shipmate...Those who took advantage, well.. they had  fun...they had friends...and those  that died , had nothing to regret...

 She  Finished her plate, handing it  to the Admiral she reached out  and patted   Shadows   hand,  and gave the  Ladies a smile,There is  a lot more to being on the Tip of the spear, then just  staying alive, or making  Empire  things dead... you all seem to have that figured out...

  Frans  took her   'cheerleader pin' off her  top, and   pined it on Richard's T-shirt.

Zob went over and got himself a large cup of coffee and leaned up against the wall as he watched the ladies in their bathing suits, "Maybe ill go down for some beach time... i don't really sunburn though" Zob chuckled and took a drink of his coffee.

When the Stem team was recalled, Roy took his gear and dropped it off in the lockers in Shadow's room, coming back out to get a look at the prisoner they'd brought in.  He shook his head slightly at the attempted defiance, and shrugged slightly as Hack order the man bound and gagged to be turned over to Elge.  Knowing the night would be short, he found his room and laid down on the bed, not bothering to strip down.  Trying to fit a full night's sleep into the couple of hours that were left would just leave him feeling sluggish and irritable.  Instead, he treated it like a nap, just stretching out on top of the covers and relaxing, dropping off into sleep almost immediately in a way that spoke of long practice at getting any sleep, anytime it was available.

The sounds of the others rising to start prepping breakfast woke him, and he got up and started getting ready.  The uniform jacket, he would leave off until after he ate, but the rest of the dress uniform, he donned with only a minor grimace of distaste for the garment.  He had sure his weapons were present, and ready to use, before he stepped out to get his breakfast, adding nothing to the conversations.  Mentally, he was already in combat mode...every action and statement around him was weighed and calculated and settled somewhere on a threat scale in his mind, ranging (in this group) from 'totally innocuous' to 'mildly annoying'...but this was all a warm-up for the conference.

Henry woke suddenly to a strange sensatition. It took him a few moments to realise that it was Mila enjoying the bacon she'd scrounged and radiating her pleasure. He found his mouth watering. He kissed Val and got out of bed to make ready.

He'd been asked to attend the conference representing BioTech, the whole thing sounded terribly formal so he'd brought the scarlet doctoral robe.

As he dressed he asked Val if she was coming to the conference or wanted to go on ahead to see the labs. Or go to the beach with Can.

 Sam headed for her room in the Admiral's condo, she was happy how the night went and was glad to help out. Sam then got as much sleep as she could and then when she woke up she got into her Burian dress uniform and headed out too the amazing smell.

 Sam said to Shadow," Good Morning LC sir, this smells and looks delicious thank you." Sam got a plate full and took a seat and ate, she did look for Steve as well.

people came  and went, thanking  Shadow  for the hospitality , but wanting to get an early start on the beach.

   a few groups of Pilots, 2 or three  guys, two ot three  girls  did this  from time to time, mostly those who didn't have a 'steady'.

 Howe  came out  with a  towel over his shoulders  and  Bermuda trunks.. he   waited to get a  plate  and sat by Sam...You are all dressed up,  Glad i'm not important!!.. I get to see the sand sooner..

  Roy's COMs  lit up, Lippen's voice was at the end of it...SM?  This is Lippen?  we have  some  Folks   giving Lirg, Nuguest and  Vaka  a  hard time  about being on the beach.... seems the idiots  don't understand how  they could  be 'passed off  as hermes"

 Shadow   chuckled,can you imagine, if  we  would go to Earth...., I wonder if Earth treats  the Empire types  any differant

Zob sighed a bit as he walked out of the kitchen area and got changed into beach clothing which was mostly him in shorts with a tank top and towel that he would remove down at the beach, "I'm gonna go down on the sand give my portion of breakfast over to the kids" he then refilled his coffee and made his way down to the beach.

 Sam smiled at Howe as he sat down, Sam wanted too head to the beach but she was the Burian delegate for the meeting. Sam giggled at Howe's comment and replied," Well I was chosen by Commodore McKeon as the Burian delegate she said I was the one she wanted to be the delegate. Trust me I would rather be on the beach with you, will you save me a spot on the sand Steve?"

Mila was hanging around the kitchen scrounging bits of bacon. In the back of her mind she could feel Her Human bestirring Himself. She expected He'd follow the smell of bacon, however, so didn't bolt off as she otherwise might have done.

Can, though, was a different matter. She licked him awake and saw that he got some breakfast.

 Meari got up and then decided she didnt NEED to go the the conference, she had a long night, she was going too take the beach day offered to her with Frakas. Meari got dressed in the one piece her Grandmod gave her and headed out with a towel and her combat knife.

 Meari walked out got her food from the LC, and thanked him. Meari looked very good for not getting a lot of sleep, the training helped for sure. Meari took her plate and looked for Frakas or another place too sit.

 Lizzy woke up to the smell of breakfast, she kisses Izzy deeply and then gets on a skimpy bikini with a see through mesh beach covering. She then gets a bag together with suntan lotion, towels. Lizzy knew Izzy didnt have a lot of time, so they got ready quickly and headed for breakfast.

Roy rolled his eyes..."Don't you just love stupid people..." he muttered, before keying the comm to respond.  "Lippen...ask whoever it is if they think they can explain their point with my boot up their ass so far they'll be gagging on my shoelaces.  If they answer yes, comm me and I'll come down and let them prove it...make sure you tell them that part, as well."

He looked around the group, disgust evident in his expression.  "You'd think, with all the media coverage we get, someone would figure it out.  Where else in the universe are you going to find a Hyrian, and Ape-Man, and an Occui hanging out together?  Or have the toy-makers gotten lazy and not added those figures to the collections, yet?"

  Shadow chuckled,They have one in a  set  for Lirg?... haven't seen the new  additions, shouldn't be long with the battles  we were in. They try to cash  in  on  new   figures.

 The Admiral  was still  setting up bacon  as he  said, time  is running out,  we have to be  at the  ESN HQ, building, which...isn't farfrom here....and  cross the Ballroom  and up the stairs  to the conference  room... Unless Admiral Richards is off her game..the seating is goign to  come under some fire...and the Angels won't be happy.

 Well , Admiral, Sir. I am going to take the liberty  to say, i don't give too many damns about Paradise Angels.... The Moons  better  be  well represented.

 I don't see the Paradise  folks having a good  time today....and if they do have a good time, i will most likely..not have a good time.

Billie woke to the smell of breakfast, her stomach almost immediately responding with a rather loud growl. She nudged Arnie and followed it with a kiss to his temple before getting up from the bed to dress. "So what's on the agenda for today? The beach?" she asked when he finally got out of bed.

Roy gave a quiet grunt.  "The Paradise folks are gonna have a hard time today, regardless of who it ends up being a good time for.  I can't speak for any other APF forces, but I'll be damned if an ESN Marine takes orders from any Paradise Angel besides Captain Si."  He took a sip of orange juice, and added, "Especially since we found out they've recognized Lady V's hidey-hole as a legitimate system and started trading with them."

Val was still dozing, so Henry came over to the other side to get some bacon. If Mila was to be believed, it was good.

"Morning all. Good night?"

He looked round for Mila and Can, and greeted them both.

  Can had been with the  Kids  since they started to wake up, being the bearer of the news  they were getting seconds!

  Mila  went back and forth from kids, to  condo, and now found henry.

 Arnie opened his began getting  his  trunks out...Beach, I should thing? If they need me for anything , I have a COM.... Right now?  Breakfast... he grinned.

 The   admiral put fresh strips on the  griddle  after using the tings  to  stack  more  into the bowls.

  APF  folks  are weary..fighting none stop?, if there are enough  members out there who are  hoping  for peace?..they might give into the  angels, thinking that they will tip the table , to end the war. I am very interested  in how they are going to play this..

  I want to see who those  new fighters they have..what do they call them?

 Captain Si walked in, Like  Admiral  Richards, she had her  dress  pants on, but only  a  white  t-shirt..

  Seekers...they are third  gen...they were what Hammers   were based on before , before  humans  started to  make thier own tweaks.. it they are anything like the first Gen? Their armor  is  heavy, they can dive well, and turn fairly.... They climb slower...Last i heard , they have  4  heavy  pulse , 2 on each wing.. They have developed Hard Ammo over the Last  10 years or so...The Pilot  i talked to at the party, said, that some versions   have a cannon on the nose...some have  machineguns ,  a pair of  muzzles  on each side of the nose...

 In  The Black, our aircraft will be about even...in Atmo, we will have the advantage, because  of climb and  turn...I believe our  aircraft is faster.

"Have you eaten yet, Admiral? If not, I'll take over the cooking."

Should the offer be accepted, Henry dumps the scarlet robe out of the way before stepping up.

  THe Admiral smiled and Nodded to  Henry, he  foxed himself a plate  and willed into the  corner of the booth that was used for the 'war room".

People talked excitedly about the beach  and party, knowing they  would have the whole day, and maybe  some of tomorrow.

 The Iron Guard  showed up to have  some of the breakfast....We  came  down...there is a pair of  Troopers in SEC  who came up..still need a few more..

 beth spoke up,we have  6  more people going  up for SEC..

The Admiral ate, he never thought of the  meal as 'simple',  it seemed  like a ritual ...something to share.. he  gave a  shrug and  dug in...


 Those of us going to the Meeting?..we have about  30 minutes to get to the cars...

 Someof the piltos, knowing  there was a time restraint, began to help with washing dishes and such
