Once again the  Largs  were rounding the  Beg,  before  Shadow  even reach Amidships.. the  people who  stayed  and  ran..were trying to pace themselves....Tne mercs  Knew they had a   alot more Laps  coming... Zia...wasn't going to  make it. She   was  stumbling  and Falling.. Cora   Picked  her   up and  said,

 look? Honey?.you been with us  a while, you trying to tell me the only Heimdall who's worth  anything is  Oscar?... get it together,or die .. you hitched   your self to  the wrong  Pony.. You should have  know better.... I'm not helping you up no more.. I have a run to do...

 Cora took off to catch back up to Will and Gile..

 Zia  was  struggling , looking like she was almost drunk.

 The LC was  running Easy his strides were long and  quick..eatign up yards at a time.....

 Flores   was in the Middle of the mercs...see the LC?.. if you have   an pounce of a brain in your head.. you  catch up...and stay with him... you guys have no idea  what you're in for....

Roy's snort of disgust was clearly audible.  "Did you ever actually get any legitimate military training, Gunny?" he asked...and he managed to make the rank sound like a mocking insult.  "You ever see a drill instructor smoke a new boot?  Yeah, you're gonna run laps.  You're going to run laps until you collapse, or puke...probably both.  If Stefi takes pity on you, she can dose you with something that will have you somewhere close to normal in a day or two.  If she listens to my advice, she'll leave you to recover on your own, which means closer to a week before you stop stiff-legging it around because your muscles are fried."

He shook his head, the disgust on his face deepening.  "No fuckin' wonder you joined the EMS.  Your bullshit attitude would get you washed out before the first day was over.  And you sure as shit would never make it through any sort of 'special operations' training course.  But, hey, sign up as a merc and you can call yourself whatever the hell you like, right?  Fuckin' wannabes..."

With that, he pushed his pace up a notch, not anywhere close to chasing down Shadow but noticeably faster than he'd been running.  "Put up or shut up, Gunny!" he called out, effectively daring the man to keep pace with him.

As soon as the starting pistol went off and Tulliun started his second lap, he knew he wouldn't be able to make a third. He struggled and had to force himself to keep from falling on his face, he was counting on his weight to drag him along. He didn't pay any attention to anyone else running, except to not run into them.

As soon as the light changed, TI-JO had a second wind, he kept his position in the pack as best as he could, jockeying around with those still in the condition to run. After about half way, he'd intentionally take it easy, maintaining his spot, then, at the end, he downshifted and ended up crossing towards the back of the main group. He still had to save himself for the last lap.

Nikki listened to Margo complain and whine looking over as she tossed her bottle of water to Haley, who surprisingly caught it.  "Maybe she's pregnant" she made as an off the cuff remark.  suddenly she saw Harry.  She smiled in surprise and waved, glad to see her back.  Finally, there was a countdown and the start pistol. Nikki started running with the others.  Whatever her problem she'd let The Brass and Shadow deal with it.  As she ran she clapped to get a steady rhythm going, she was gonna need it.

Zob hung out near the back of the group for the most part as he *casually* ran, this one for him was more for fun then anything also it allowed him to keep a eye on things in case anybody tried anything but he stayed his hand until such a moment came, "Keep running!" he shouted to Zia as he saw her begin to stumble.

 The others   were packed pretty  tight in the Middle... Zia  fell on her face again,,she   was having trouble  getting  up.. Gia   stopped for  , just a second..You frenchies?  you are getting fried!  Gia laughed at her own   joke as she opened up her  stride on the outside to try and pass folks.

  The LArgs  had  passed   Roll  who was having trouble with a Obstinate, tired, spoiled Larg...

  Tess  turned around  to  Lift Thor Up to carry him...

 No Ms Tess!... He will want  you to carry him all the time..he has to learn to  run on his own..or he  can't be a SEC larg...

 Tells  Looked at  Roll, dropped  a ...very surprised..Thor and  she took off to catch the other Largs... Thor    moaned   as Roll gently   whapped his rear..Come on  Thor..I was little once too.. i know  running can save you...

Zob slowed his pace and reached down and pulled Zia to her feet and gave her a *gentle* push forward, "No laying down on the job" this was punishment for them and if Shadow and Roy told them to run by all the gods they were gonna run.

From where he was slowly pulling ahead of the mercs, Roy called back, in a clear, strong voice that betrayed no sign of having run much more than a few hundred meters, "Gunny?  If your people can't make it, YOU get to carry them!  You were all about saddling me with the burden of your half-assed clown troupe when we go down to E1...leave me stuck with having to drag your asses back to safety when you fall flat on your faces.  So maybe we give you a little taste of what kind of bullshit move that is, and make you carry your people to safety.  But frankly, Gunny, I don't think you can even get your own ass to safety...and you sure as shit have no business leading ANYONE into combat!"

His voice shifted, taking on a taunting note.  "Come on, Gunny!  Prove me wrong!  I dare you!"

After being told she was alright to join the next group of runners, Harry would give Roy a respectful nod as she replied "Likewise" before going to line up with the others whilst he dealt with the commotion currently taking place. She would use the time it took them to bring the squad into line to check her weapons and armour so they wouldn't cause her any issues whilst running and although she would glance in Nikki's direction she wouldn't react to her making it unclear as to whether she hadn't seen her waving or was blanking her.

When the run got under way Harry would make a strong start in an attempt to break away from the pack and run by herself so as to avoid being jostled by anyone else. It would be clear that she wasn't looking to win on this occasion, after all there was no glory in beating a group of people that were already winded.

 Lizzy didnt have a lot left in the tank but she gave it all on the second lap never falling never giving up just a good steady pace. Again Lizzy died off at the end, she just pushed herself not willing to give up ever.

 Meari ran as strong as last time, she stayed with the Mercs but saw Zia falling and Zob helped her up. Meari moved close to Zia and said," You can do this I know you can, dig deep and also why did you join this group, you are better than them, show them and run with me Zia. "

Sam watched closer during these runs she knew some of these Mercs might pull something now. She watched and kept her eyes peeled.

Henry decided to do the second lap after all, but that would be it, however much Mila was enjoying bouncing around with the largs.

He was disappointed to find out that Margo had been playing fast and loose, rather than being nervous about doing something that, to be honest, he didn't enjoy either.

  The Brass stayed together.. they  talked  while they ran, they set a decent pace ( trying to keep up with Captain Si)

  Heimdall folks were having mixed  results. Oscar was pushing hard, but fading  fast...he  knew he would be done, and  wouldn't  run further  to day.

Flora Moss was trying to regain some measure of  herself after siding  with the Mercs..she gritted her teeth, her sides labored, and she knew  that this was  going to be  the worse punishment of her  Career.

 Zia,  couldn't run  more then a  few  yards before  stumbling, she  was starting to Cry, most to the SEC  and Pilots    just ran past her...she would have to prove herself  One of them again....

 Tenya Unbute ran, her long legs  , ate the Dec plates up, but she  was laboring,, her mind wrestled   with  trying to finish  hard..or just to finish, Knowing  they had drawn the ire  of folks who  had better been left alone.

  Aideen Carter, ran  , she was running well... she   tried to smile  at  Roy, but the pian of  excursion was easy to see...So....SM.... how..how  many Laps  ya think yer   Fly boy can makes us  run...ya know..with him  runnin'  wit  us? Think, he  can make a ,,,,a,,, bleedin'  3rd  lap?

 The ESN  transfers  , more  or less ran  as a group,  the rear runners    moving up to  lead, and the others   dropping back to draft... It might work on a track, especially out doors..but they were in a  humid   , metal tunnel..and no breeze.with no let up....

The rookie  Pilots weren't much Better off  then the Mercs, and they carrier  less  Gear.

 Howe, who just wanted to stay   and watch, decided to   jog with them, Naturaly  Fritz  followed as  well as Steele..Foster  had  went   out ran lined up along  with Ariv, and Hela..Frans  and her friends never  hesitated to line up again.

 Howe  talked to the  Piltos  who had  brows  furrowed in pain and pressure...Hey there.....  welocme to The Hermes...Bit different then the Magazines..and Vids  huh? Yeah.lots of glamor and all that... until you see   that the officers and   rew are hard core bastards, who are out here to Kil as many of those  Empire sons of bitches  as we  can, be fore out light gets  snuffed out..now?.. Most new pilots don't make it past thier  first 2  Jumps off...after that? well..chances get better and all that.... this here running?.. you crash, POD out on a planet, or into a station..this might get you back to  be able to fly again....'cause, no one...no one at all..wants to be an Empire prisoner...

Justin kept up a steady pace designed to cover distance with a measured gait. He heard the pounding of the Larg pack approaching; who would be followed by the lead runners.

 Meari stayed with Zia for a bit, she then said," I had high hopes for you, can you prove to all of us and mostly yourself you can do this, run from the heart and soul to do the right thing Zia. I hope you can make it back to us." Meari then continued her strong run still holding her 30-cal.as she ran.

Unsurprisingly considering that she started had the run fresh Harry pretty soon found herself at the head of the pack with only Shadow and the Largs ahead of her by a fairly comfortable margin, and quick glance over her shoulder telling her that Nikki was on her heels. Although she had trained as a long distance runner and had up until recently rather enjoyed the experience Harry was still unused to the heavier armour and equipment of a trooper, not to mention the fact that after spending so long on the corvette she was somewhat out of practice. But all the same she was rather happy with her current position.

Zob stayed next to Zia the whole time to keep her moving but it looked like she didn't have much left in her which was disappointing, "Come on girl don't give up!" if she collapsed again he would contemplate just picking her up and carrying her on his shoulder which in the end would only make the situation worse for her but at the same token you never leave someone behind if you can help it.

 at the  Bow of the ship, beth watched   the screens.  Weeding out process out here was harsh.
 None of it bothered her. she had  seen alot  of pee come  and go..alot of them  had  to  walk home.

 Th  Pack    saw the Kid  and  the wee Larg  and Moved to the Inside of the Tunnel..Lots of   room for them  to   Run....  Gunny getting tired, frustrated, and worried   as to how he was going to end   the LC's  'punsihment'.. He saw the LArg..he   could  Have Move as  the Wee  Larg looked at Him and  Thumped  his tail.

   Gunny  shouted..his throat horse from ragged  breaths, Get the fuck outta me  way!...

 The Boot   Kicked the   happy and un suspecting  pup. Sending  Him  into the  outter  wall with  A Yelp...

 Roll's crazed  Cry  came  as  he  ran  at  Gunny from Behind  and   tackled, Him, Bouncing the  Gunny's  face of the Dec,   Roll was  almost cryign in anger   as she shouted...YOU ATTACKED MY LARG!  the   Kids'  Fisted     pounded Gunny on the back of the head, each hit  driving  the face into  the plates...Until  Fred   White  came from Behind   ,   Pickign  Rolls off  Gunny   and  tossing the kid   down towards   Sam's table.. Roll  Hit and Bounced  Twiace  and stopped at Amidships...


 Shadow Stopped  as he  hear the  kids, Voice, when he turned  He  saw  Roll Hit, and Just Likje that, Shadoe  was  runnign  at  Fread  and  Gunny...

 The  confused, and  Hurt Larg..( probably more hurt feelings) Let  out  a   sad  Yowel as he saw  Roll  bounce and slide.

 from the other side of the  ship...the roars of   Largs   answered the Yowel.... Disna Yelled into the COMs...The  LArgs  are  charging down the  port side.... beth said  you are at Amidships... you might have   5  Minutes to clear people  away , that you do not want killed...

Zob was ready to reach for his weapon then he heard the howl of the Larg pack, "Oh no..." he then made a split second decision and grabbed Zia and hoisted her over his shoulder not carrying if she protested if she continued at the pace she was setting she was gonna die he then took off running as fast as he could manage to get out of the way.

Hearding the howl from the Larg pack; Justin looked about anxiously That's not good, not good at all... he cursed his hands going for his MP's, as the Larg Pack thundered back along the tunnel towards him. Quickly moving to one side of the structure he braced himself against the bulkhead ready to react to whatever was happening.
