Lizzy sat with Can when she was done taking care of the fish and then he told her about the faire. " We had a great time too at the faire, so glad you had a great time. Wow that was really good thinking of Roll. Wow you won a wid game that is awesome and great job Can."

 Lissy checked the algae and then asked Can, " Your doing a great job, and keep doing what yor doing, thanks for your help Can." Lizzy was all smiles she loved kids and couldn't hide it.

Henry went over to Mila's corner where the bear still sounded mighty unhappy. He sat down on the floor beside him and invited him to snuggle up.

He wasn't surprised that he was sad. He'd lost his mom and been swept off into a totally alien environment. Upsetting for anyone.

 The  Nuska  watched  Henry walk over, his head bobbing  as he pointed  his  snout at  The Doc. When henry sat down the     Nuska  peered  at him with  wet eyes.  its   moved the step or two  it need  and  laid  its head    on Henry's  legs, wet eyes staring up , as it let out a softer  Bawl.

 Can Looked  at Lizzy and said,I think the  Nuska feels  'serted. but  he is like a stem kid?..most of our  mommies  were killed or taken away... he  voice  crack a little , but he  talked  firmly, other wise,some mommies  dumped us off in the Stem. At least his Mommy wanted him...

 Lizzy smiled at Doc Henry, and then turned to Can," Yes you both lost your families Can, maybe you can help the Nuska feel at home and bring him into your pack, make him feel like a part of your family. You fund a great family Can and I know you can make the Nuska feel at home, can you do that Can. Also I think he needs a name?"

 Lizzy thought the Nuska was adorable but sad, she hoped maybe Can and the Nuska could make each other feel better.

"I was going to call him Boris, but if you have a better name I don't think he's latched onto it yet."

Henry stroked the soft baby fur gently, gradually drawing the bear onto his lap.

"Whatever, like you he is no longer serted, he has a home too now."

 The Nuska  was a bit  heave, at least double that of  Mila. all packed into a backpack sized    Body.

  it laid  against   Henry..now  and then a shiver went through it  and  its  breathing   was  in quick Breaths  as one  eye looked around the area.

  C he is  very sad, i think. Maybe   mr Shadow should have left  him there  for another Mommy Nuska?

 Val   crouched down by Henry. one hand on his  shoulder   , the  other  Petted  the   little cub.I am not  sure  how Nuska  treat  orphaned Cubs. We  must remember, the  same people that  told   the LC about  Nuskas. are the same who  beat and prod Largs?

 Lizzy added," No I think it was fate the Nuska is with us and now part of your pack, I know you will love him and never sert him, just show him that and he will be fine when he knows you are his NEW family and never sert him, lie you got a new family that will never sert you Can."

  The Nuska  laid  against  Henry , it was slowly closing his  eyes.

  The Nuska? he isn't very active, he slept  most of the time., Thor  got him to    Play a little bit..but he just seems to want to sleep and eat? Can watched the   Nuska's breather  get into a regular  rhythm

 Lizzy smiled and replied to Can," Well he is young and growing and eating and sleeping is what young animals do." She hoped she was right she was no animal expert. Lizzy added," I think in time he will want to play more, wasnt Thor always sleeping and eating right after he was born, we do not know exactly how old Boris is, if thats the name you want to go with Can."

 Before Can or anyone could answer the vid came on and it showed the kids walking into a huge loyalty feast, Lizzy began to tear up, this was so horrible humans, Angels other races eating live children she wanted to kill them all. When the children realized what was about to happen, they went nuts fighting for their lives screaming or going into shock. Lizzy wondered why this was being aired until the fireworks started and the bad guys were getting gunned down and burned alive. The children were brought into the shuttle, and they escaped and destroyed the mansion and killed a lot of children eating scumbags. She knew the name Stoly was on the Hermes before she got here but she heard of him and of course the other Stoly who was aboard.

Henry stroked Boris who indeed seemed to be going to sleep there on top of him.

"That's right, small newly-born creatures, irrespective of species, start off sleeping and eating and not much else. He'll soon start exploring his environment as well. Above all he needs to know he's safe and loved."

 Lizzy finished up taking care of their fish and spent some great time with Can. " I have to get going Can, you have done great keep up your great work and Can remember to have fun."

  Boris  fell asleep on   Henry..

 Thor was trying peek out the  Lad  Door.

 The  door  Opened as   Larry  Pushed the   door  open. The  Gave Henry a   nudge  with his snout, then continued  to  the Door that  Teddy opened for him, as he  went to   'mosey  around. the  other  Largs   , except for Thor  were  sleeping or resting.

"Hello, Thor," said Henry, managing to get a hand free to scratch Thor's head.

"This is Boris. He's young, like you, but very lonely because he's lost his pack. We need to make him welcome, become his new pack."

 Thor  titled his sideways , in his larg manner. But leaned against  Henry.
Val had a   smile as she  spoke, but it turned to a troubled look, but  faded to a soft smile as she  watched  Thor.

 Thor wasn't  much smaller then he  is now, When  SGT Shoemaker, let him out of the Lab and he saved me from the Roussian

Thors  tiny tail thumped as , henry was now buried under a  sleepign Nuska and  nuzzling  larg.

Henry smiled.

"Thor may be little but he is as brave as any larg... and saved something more precious to me than my own life."

Quite content buried in animals, Henry looked up at his darling wife.

"There's no doubt a myriad of things I ought to be doing, but getting Boris settled seems more important right now. Still, I can talk without disturbing him. What needs attending to?"

  Val shakes her ehad,we have three kinds of birds  were picked up on Bura...we are checkign to see ifthey would be good food  animals.. , if so we can send  some to the Deltas and Astra to help increase the loss of   game, or  farm animals, depending?

 Lizzy said her goodbyes to Can and everyone else and gave Boris a little kiss. Lizzy then headed out towards the Rec Dec.

Henry ushered Haley into BioTech and led her through to the briss, who all mobbed him immediately, Friday a little more sedately than the snittens. Untangling himself and draping Khan around Haley's shoulders, he started to explain what they ate and how they ought to be fed.

Nikki smiled "Well, think Shadow says...'I better arrive ready'" she shut the door behind them and began getting and preparing for her run.  Checking gear and weapons.

Haley skipped bouncing down the hall for Christies office.

Once the briss were fed and Haley well-indoctrinated in their care and feeding, Henry suggested a visit to the Rec Dec.

"Nikki will likely go there after the run and Mila will be with the largs. Val, Can, fancy something?"

He'd been getting distance flashes from Mila, seemed like she was having fun. It was odd, not having her around, but she'd been happy with the largs so he hadn't wanted to haul her off.

Thor   mad  some tiny   growl   but  Tess  picked him  up by the tail and carried him in.

Henry took the dopey Can from Val.
