Meari kept the carbines and walked up the stairs and out, she nodded to Vaka and they headed to the van and Howe. Meari looked at her team and said," My vote we call it a night I got payback for my Cousin. I would also like to check on Frakas. " Meari was worried about Frakas and worried about embracing her emotions might have gotten him killed. She should have just wasted those scum, but she was worried about becoming a killing machine. Now Meari had to decide which to embrace the responsible warrior or the killing machine.

 Shadow   waved to Shade and they ran to the Taxi. Lizzy..come back to the front of the coast road..Get  the Gava, we're done, we hit a hive, and i think we did  good.

 The Taxi  dropped  from the top of the building to the   ground, a bit  outside the  garden, and  let  Zob and Shade  Out, he  set the  throttle, and  let the taxi go towards the  parked boats... , but the time   they reached the spot  for lizzy's pick up, the taxi hit  a pair  of  Boats, and smoke  started to rise...

 Will, Cora  and Ellen set up. Will  rang the  door buzzer., he  stood out there, a woman answered the door, there was loud music , the smell of good  food, and laughter..with Lots  Of Black suits...

Scream and Shout.  weapons  fire answrered him, as he ran  for the  cars, for Cover.. now and then he  would send  a burst into  the   house,  The first guy died..but the second one closed the  door...

 Suddenly , as Will watched, both sides of the house light up briefly, with weapons  fire..

 rounds were being  fired  at will from upstairs  windows.... ellen answered that fire  but sending  rounds from  the first floor  side windows.

 Howe nods,good thinking..we dropped alot of  bodies the last 24 hours or so...there ones tonight?  Just big old cherries on top..

 right before he got in the  Van , Rolfe fried   two  grenades   at the  doors, sending a message  for  everyone  to stay, as Vaka said..

   Troopers looked around,they tried to see what was dropping people.. Nifty  froze, he was at the last set of  lights, before he would reach where Lyri was...Lyri was  half way  down the span, as she froze as well.

 The  2 striper  snapped  some orders into the COMs as he stood there looking around, slowly, he started to look up

It was an almost open invitation...openly shouting orders into a comm unit while under sniper fire was practically screaming 'Shoot me!' at the snipers.  Besides, if Roy shot him, from a completely different direction than the corporal was looking, it would draw attention away from his two teammates...

A nice thing about the Largran rounds, especially at this range...he didn't have to be picky about what he hit, which sped up targeting considerably.  Crosshairs on center-of-mass and squeeze the trigger...then watch the two-striper collapse like cheap yard furniture in a storm, before firing at one of the other troopers that was about to take a look around.

The weapon report reached the ears of those on the dock...well, the ones paying enough attention to recognize it as such, at least, over all the chaos...as the corporal staggered from the impact.  Roy picked a trooper in the center of the pack, just to make sure the most people noticed, and fired a second round...this time, slightly more selective about his target and aiming at the base of the man's skull...

"Stop looking up, you turd-humping morons.  The shots aren't coming from 'up'..." he muttered, as if he could further sway their reactions by sheer force of will.

 Lizzy acknowledges Shadow and says," Getting Gava now see you there LC."  Lizzy picked up the Gava, she fired at some people still running. Lizzy got the Gava and the one wounded one as well, and headed for the meeting area to pick up the rest of the team.

 Meari hits her comms, " LC building clear of Black we are heading back hope you had good hunting Sir." Meari will then get the team in the van and say," Lt. take us too the condo please." Meari was worried about Frakas but she didnt show it.

  Shadow   jogged back to where  Zob and  Shade stood, waiting  for Lizzy...

  Shade  bleeped  as he pointed at the    people who now?  didn't  know what to do...channel blocked, , a pair of  Boats  starting to smolder at the docks, the Building Burning from the first flor  up, with screaming people on the roof waving and COMing from   Hover  cars, that were too afraid to approach.

 yeah, there is a Bunch of  folks left. I am sure we didn't get them all, but  we got a bunch, ans the story will be told  about three dark suited people who killed alot of  folks, as well as  people getting gunned   down in the garden..it won't take long for  people to understand , that  Vicrock was the target...

 When Lizzy arrived, they  Shadow  would say,get us  to the  Condos, we have to get the Gava  patched up... Thank you all for  joining me  in a very satisfying night.

 Nifty used his  scope to look into the hanger,..SM?  There's like...100 guys  lining up in there..they have boarding armor on, none of these other guys have armor.

 Lyri moved  , ever so slowly , she was sure the   Dock light would help shield her from view, but fast movement  would be a bad thing.

 Lirg's  rifle  fired.. there was  shouting from inside  the  Hanger  as a forklift  spun around   , hit some of the troops being marshaled , before slamming into one of the Bulkheads that separated  the  bow-most door from the Middle  hanger door., an Angel Body Dangled from the seat, by the seat belt.

Zob covered the group as they began loading up into the Van and once everyone was inside he stepped in and closed the van doors, "Get us out of here" he would turn to Shadow once they took off, "Anytime friend" he then took a seat.

 Lizzy landed and let everyone in and said,That was fun , ok guys lets head too Condo. Lizzy then looked at the carnage they left and then took off heading to the Condo.

 There was  an earnest gunfight going on now.. Ellen was hunkered down behind   a fountain... Cora  was behinds  a car someone  parked  , haphazard  on that side of the lawn.

Will was out in front  he moved from car to car, round  hitting the  windscreens  and Hoods, he would fire back, not knowing if he  hit  anyone or not..

a round  caught  a , sideways  parked car, and some smoke   hissed out, but stopped  as the  vehicle  was  not  running... Will smiled...

 Cora  snorted,..yeah.. Shadow  got   beat up by The Warlord, because   they had to go back and help  clean it up...

 Cora   opened the  door  and  set the grenade on the  console, the Pin ready to be  Pulled...Right...when you say when, I''ll pull the  pin and set the grenade near the power cell, then  it  files into  the   Door way here...

 Will did much the  same..  his hover  car was one in the back...it  rose, , he pulled the  pin    hit the throttles  and   fell out.. of course..he forgot about the other  cars and Bounced off  one, but was no worse for wear...

  Cora's  Hit  Frist smashing into the house... screams and shouts  were heard    and the  Car  had a little explosion, then a  Bigger one. flames started  , almost immediately.  Will   car   hit   Just  above the Main doors, the grenade  went of, and two heart beats later, the car.. For good  measure, Will sent  in the most expensive one, it crashed   into the side of the Building, smoke  was rising faster..it wouldn't be   long


 Ellens SMG  was   firing  steady bursts  at her  door, and  any one trying to escape.. 7 bodies  were lying on the  ground,  at least two more inside the door.


 Cora  ran  towards Ellen's   spot  and  Will shot up some of  the parked cars... they began to  smoke  as he ran The expensive car  Blew up as the  three   ran for the fence,  the house  was   Burning  and  two more FC  trucks  rose into the  air From  EtnaSEC... they could see it all  as   two more cars blew up on the Lawn, causing other  cars to smoke, Inside  screams of  pain and fear echoed...

 Will hit the COMs....we had our  fun, Coming home now...

 the three   ran along the hull of the station to where the van had been parked...another  explosion  rocked the party house, a body or two could be seen in the orange-yellow light.

   Lirg waited , the  smoke was collecting, he fired, just to fire into the massed  troops  on the hanger Dec, he  dropped  one, as  the troops  began to look around inside the  Hanger.

   Then..it  happened, the  gate  was open to allow  FC  trucks  in, the second it opened the panicking  crowd  ran in, surging like a wave towards the   ramp ways, people   pushed and shoved, the  FC  trucks  Hand to fise  higher for  fear of  cooking  people with   thier  thrusters.

 One of the Non-Coms  on the Hanger  Dead shouted  and  waved the troops   forward,  and they all charged  out with weapons  held out like they were cross checking in hockey.

  the  two waves   met as   Troopers, and  Non come s tried to  force the  people back.The FC trucks  could not  pass over because of loading  Cranes, people were getting  trampled  as the   crowd was pushed  back...

 Nifty  tok this moment to scamble down the span to   be with Lyri and   Roy..this is  so  GREAT!!

Jug looked to the others going to the air cars. "Perhaps there are more bugs to chase." she looked at others with a big toothy grin.

Roy gave a tight-lipped grin.  "Okay.  I feel good about leaving at this point.  Whoever's in charge of the docking guard detail is gonna catch hell if there's anyone important in that crowd...IF they survive the stampede.  But someone's gonna demand to know why they weren't better protected, and how so many could have been killed so quickly...heads are gonna be on the chopping block from this one."

He jerked his head in a direction away from the docks.  "Lirg?  Get out of there.  We'll find a van or something and swing round to pick you up.  Stay out of sight...there can't be that many Hyrian snipers on the station, after all...but make sure you're somewhere that can't be seen from that docking area.  Once we've got transport, we'll set up a rendezvous."

He glanced at Lyri, and asked, with a grin, "Now the question becomes, do we steal a van, or just call for a ride?  If I knew we'd get a reliable responder, I'd just call a cab...just for the satisfaction of taking something as mundane as a cab home from something like this."  He chuckled at the thought.

    Lyri slipped down  as she said quietly, though the chance anyone  would hear them over shouts and  FC truck thrusters, was slim.

  ..Our  Van is  just down the Hull wall from the  Access door..we might have to cap the guard if he returned to his post...

 Nifty said,...the guard was ETNA SEC.....don't know  if   we shoudl cap him, or  just beat him up some?

Roy shrugged.  "Let's find out if he's there...and if he's alone...before we decide what to do with him.  Let's go..."  Keeping out of view of the beleaguered docks, Roy led the trio in the direction of the van.

   as they reached the access door, . Lyri went to open it, But  Nifty moved in  front. he shouldered his  weapon and pointed to the   top and bottom of the  large oval shaped  door.

 pressing  the levers  there, the access door popped silently opened,, they could here   shouting   , screams and pleas  as more and Move   vehicles   crowed the   area to the Docking arm.

  The Guard   stood  by, his weapon ready, but he was  facing the  crowd... the Van was  tucked away to thier  right, the guard was to the left.

 Nifty leaned back.....he's out there... but watchig the crowd..about  3 yards from the door.

Roy grimaced, and then handed his rifle to Nifty.  "I'm gonna try and do Elge a solid, here, but if it goes wrong and blows up in my face, cover me..."

As he approached, he debated...his initial inclination was to just encourage the guard to move a few meters down the way and not look at the van.  But that would rely on the guard recognizing him, and being willing to take his recommendation/instruction.  "Hey, Beth?  I think Etna's security system needs a camera glitch in this area for, say, a minute?"  He grinned to himself and added, "Or their data storage needs to have a problem, so nobody can recover the footage and replay it.  Either one works..."

Relying on Beth to handle the issue in whatever way would be most expedient, he slipped up behind the guard...and took him in a headlock chokehold for the few seconds it took for the body to stop struggling and go limp, but not long enough to actually kill the man.

 Lyri shakes her head, you think they would clean some of the moss off the wall.

Roy pointed at the van.  "Get in, before he wakes up and we have to shoot him..."

As he climbed in, he said into his comm, "Lirg, we're on our way.  Give us a homing ping with your comm, we should be 5here in a few seconds..."

 I am  40 yards  away,  i had to stay in trees, Hyrians  are much to tall and Stately to have humans not notice us!

 Lyri  looked at Roy,  Hyrians  have an ego?

 what part of the body is that? Nifty asked.  Lyri shook her head and started the Van,  seeing the 'stately' Hyrian  behind a tree, then, the van  drove  , like a sunday drive, to  the Hotel...

Roy grinned at Lyri's question.  "You ever meet anyone out here who didn't?" he asked with a soft laugh...then a snort at Nifty's follow-up.

"Your ego is the part of you that thinks you have a chance when you hit on senior NCOs, Nifty," he replied drily.  And then, as they approached Lirg's position, he added, "'Stately' is not a word I would have used.  But they do stand out in a crowd of pretty much anything besides other Hyrians..."

As Lirg hustled into the van, Roy commed, "Okay, Beth, we're on our way back..."
