Melia entered SEC in her full kit, loaded out and ready for action. "Sorry it took so long SGT MAJ I had to drop Orria off. I saw the alert, what are we dealing with?" She asks Roy, but also the room.

  The   door  hissed again..Shade  came in with  light boarding  Armor.. behind him, was a  rather  'put out' looking LArg  who  hand on a   "light  Larg Baording  armor.... "

 Shade  had  a   Puls e  rifle  and   a verian on his  hip..He looked at   Roy  woth    Green eyes... waiting to see if he  could go.

When Shade entered Melia murmured softly, "Oh Orria isn't gonna be happy about this." Her daughter wasn't even 8. Having her best friend of a similar age that she'd grown up with go off to combat with out her was gonna make Orria upset, more so if Shade were to get hurt.

Roy chuckled grimly at Melia's muttered words.  "She must've hated Aqra, then...this should be easy, compared to Shade holding the entire right flank with a pulse rifle and a dead Aqra trooper..." he answered softly.  There was a certain pride in his gaze as he looked over at Shade, as well as a fondness in his voice that could have been for Orria.

He shrugged, and continued, more formally, "We don't know exactly what we have, yet.  Lt. Blackthorne was double-checking some intercepted Vampic comms, and recognized a coded reference to what they call a 'Hunter Squadron'...a hit-and-run raiding party, heading for Bura.  The Admiral put us on an intercept, and told me to rally the troops.  What, exactly, we're rallied for likely depends entirely on the timing of our intercept.  We catch them before Bura, we board and try to capture anything we can.  We find them AT Bura, we come down on them like a hammer burying a nail.  They get off Bura before we get there, then we're a rescue mission.  Of course, that's all just a guess...but it sounds like the Admiral's adopting a zero-tolerance policy on this one...nobody gets away.  If they surrender, that's one thing...but it sounds like he intends to smear them like a moth on a windshield."

He headed for his quarters, to grab his own gear, and paused to add, "Probably best to have everyone rally on the Hangar Deck.  Pretty much every scenario involves us needing to be there...ever the worst case scenario, where the Vampics try and board us."  He nodded to the group, then turned away to go get his own gear for whatever operation they ended up going on.

 The one armed  Vampic had he r  arm  pulled  down  so that  the opposite leg  was    cuff to that  arm.. and the other  leg  cuffed  like the  others.

 ..Think on the   next  28 hours or so..  the choice is yours... i really don't  give a damn what you chose.. i am sorta  hoping you don't want to tell us  a damn thing...

  The Commander   started to leave and  said,..I'm hoping ...you lie...

  The one armed  Vampic  said,what about  food  and drink... you have to  do that for us!

  ..I'm LT  Morrow....Some  peole call me  Beth..what do you need?

 Lizzy felt bad and then added," Sorry Lt. Morrow, we met the other day at LC Shadow's table when I showed up. Ensign Lizzy Maris fighter pilot. I hat e to ask something so personnel but Ma'am could you try and find out what happened to a Ensign Carl Mack a fighter pilot on the Apollo, we where pretty close I tried to send him a comm message and got Contact no longer on line, is there any way you could help me Ma'am?"

 Lizzy was clearly worried about her friend Carl and she really hoped Beth could help her out.

 Beth looked at  her.....i can check easy  enough... but  do you want to know the answer?...


 she  sat  down  and Looked at Lizzy

 Lizzy takes a deep breath and says," Yes Ma'am if the black has taken him I would like to know Ma'am, he is a close friend Ma'am." Lizzy wasn't sure if she really wanted know if Carl was alive or dead but yes she had to know one way or the other. She smiled and gave a strong nod to Beth.

  Beth  nodded,..yeah...been there.... never good to  worry about them..

 Lizzy wasn't sure how to react he podded out, they recovered the pod but he wasn't in it but his chip is still active. " Ma'am I guess it will have to do, where could he have gone? Ma'am can they locate his chip?" Lizzy was really thinking of going to look for him but she wouldn't get far without permission. Lizzy needed more information.

  ..not much  we  can do  right now...  the Chip is being tracked... this is one of the reason we never send out    'death notcies'  for 48 hours. she looked at   Lizzy,

Lizzy's heart sank, Carl was one of the few guys that wasn't afraid of Lizzy or her Father. They got close they where at Fuji together and both got the Apollo, then she got transferred to the Hermes. Damn the WC for getting them killed. She wished now Carl had come here, and Carl didn't mind her seeing women while they where sorta together. They where just mostly friends with benefits, Lizzy was not ready for a relationship, like she told Harry.

 Lizzy looked at Beth and said," I do appreciate this Ma'am thank you again." With that Lizzy would go to leave SEC, just one more stop before the Rec Dec Lizzy had to check on Zob.

  entering the SEC, Shadow  waved to Lyri and Nagy as he  headed  down to the   empty rooms , normaly used  for  Visting    SEC  officers  of   Ambassadors  and such.  He was on his  COM to Shade  telling him to come there when he was ready for sleep.

   He  hung up his   dress Unifrom  in the small Locker, and    settled back  down  sleep.

   The med Techs brought the  Black Bag in, setting it   down on the  Floor  and  Unzipping  it  to  the body's waist.. to reveal the Uniform, and , near headless body.. the  scraps from the   Head   had been tossed into the bag like, unwanted  Left over.

   As they left, the trailing Med Tech said,Admiral figures  you might   want to  get to know  him.... because... if  tomorrow's   questioning  doesn't go well,  you are  all going into that bag , together....

With the situation on the Officers' Deck handled, Roy returned to Security, checking in to make sure everything was well in hand before he called it a night.  The send-off wouldn't be ridiculously early, but he intended to be awake long before then.

  Shade,  and LArry  came   out from the Back.  Larry had on his   'vest'  with his   awards  and   rank on.

   Jax was  dressed in  a 'hodge podge' dress uniform.. the    pants  hand to be beklted  tight. the    tunic  was a  tad  too big.. But the  Cover  was  good  and the  weapons  belt  fit  right..

 Shoey Shrugged  at  Lyri and Roy,..The Kid  said he  can walk?... And  volunteered  for the Honor guard...  well Tuck him in between Hemsly and  Simms  , No one will care that  his uniform don't  fit.....QM will have  him  one  by  tomorrow..but..hey... I'm not turning him down.

Zob was in his dress uniform he looked quite snazzy as he walked into the office, "Morning people" he greeted them as he made his way over to the cups and got himself a coffee and drank it down rather quickly as he waited for everyone to head out.

Roy gave a crooked grin and nodded to Shoemaker.  "He earned his place out there, I don't care if he had nothing to wear but the clothes he had when he came on board.  Anyone has a problem with a slightly too-large dress uniform can take it up with me."

He did his best to not listen as Shadow presented the possibility of extensive torture to the Vampics...he wasn't above it, but it was a distasteful task to him, and he was never too trusting of information gained through torture.  It was too easy for someone to say something they thought the interrogators wanted to hear, regardless of whether or not it was true.  Generally, if he was going to give someone a gruesome death, it was more effective as a message to others who would see the results, in his mind...he didn't put much faith in the immediate results.  It was not, however, his call to make.  The enemy had set forth their rules of engagement, and Admiral Hack had responded...and despite the hard line the Admiral had set, there had been enough compromises made that Roy at least felt like they weren't totally sacrificing their humanity in the process of defending humanity.

He said nothing, his face a stoic mask, until it was time to leave, and he followed Shadow and the others out without a word.
