With Roy not due to return to the office until after his run, Izzy would once again hesitate before replying "I ought to give this to him in person, could you let me know when he gets back please?" she said as she returned the packaging and picked the box back up, figuring that if she was there when she showed it to him then she'd be able to field any questions he may have not to mention stress the sensitive nature of the technology within the battered drone. That and she didn't want it to be, quite understandably, mistaken for junk and tossed out.

Smiling politely she'd thank the pair of women for their time before heading back to quarters so as to return the drone to the bottom of her locker for the time being, not to mention find a suitably attractive outfit for tonight's date with her wondering what exactly she should wear. Would Lizzy like her in a dress? Or would she prefer her in jeans and a t-shirt? With no way of knowing for sure what Lizzy was into she supposed she would just have to play it by ear, after all if she'd found her attractive whilst in uniform then she couldn't go far wrong...could she?

 Lyri  points  to a small  screen   that they just installed  above her head,..you want some  fun? Look  at the screen here... its showing   Vids  activated by the Buoys  that were Launched off the Last  Transport.. so  far.. almost 20 vessels that the Cams  caught, have been destroyed.. don't  know if they are getting  any loose on the  other side of that  field.. but we have intercepted  calls  for Help from LAdy V to the EDT..thus  far,  we haven't seen any answers, but doesn't mean  any thing.

Zob nodded and pulled up to a empty desk with the stack of papers Beth pointed out and started looking through them carefully 1 by 1, "Yeah shes not having a good time right now" he took another sip of coffee and went back to work on the papers.

Zob was sitting there sifting through the mountain of paperwork it seemed like he wouldn't find anything until he got to the last piece of paper and something caught his eye, "It lists here multiple references to the dusters working for and with the EDT to help slip into civie groups... its dated from last month" he would then give the paper over to Beth.

Zob returned the paper stack back to where he got it before, it was quite likely he overlooked something in the pile and would leave it to somebody else that had a sharper eye to look through them, "That's all i can find, I'm gonna step out for a while COM me if you need something" He needed a more proper place to work so his next destination was the Black Hanger to finish working on the last of the demon steel armor.

 Lizzy went to the empty computer and scanned her wrist, then she said," Yeah that sounds good, it will be Elizabeth O'Conner my mother's maiden name, I look more like her so I want her name and not that asshole's name. Thank you."

 Lizzy will then sit there waiting checking her comms, for any messages.

  Beth works on the  Name  sending it into the  database to   pull  any other names like that from the  sources in the Black ( mostly through the Mull's Chip records)

I was awarded  command of the  ESN 1B  Neutron .. a destroyer  meant to  Hunt  Aliens   past the Kiper Belt..Lt   Nil Si, was to have  had  Command.. . My Husband, JAck…'wombat'..MAris dug up detail   about   The Angel LT and had her  removed  from command.. giving me.. the  2nd  in line for command.. the ship... Nil and I were both upset...she is one of my dearest friends, despite her being an Angel...There was something wrong... I could tell... LT HAck, who was rumored to be   romantically envolved with the Angel.. He protested  the Removal... But I hear JAck talking to Ge-Fi..he said  its better to  keep  Nil on earth...I assumed he just wanted his daughter close?   Nil   was supportive..  though it hurt her  to be denied  a command , because of her   tryst with   LT HAck.

 ... 3  months  later..i understood  ....It was   a set up.. the Neutron was  supposed to follow a prescribed path, layed out to catch  any alien  vessels that might try to  sneak into the  Sol System.. we  suffered  a minor   hit to the engines  from a  stray   asteroid.. I  broke our    path  to cut through the Outside fringe of the  Kieper belt.. it also   helped shield  us   ..what we thought are Demon scanners... that's when we  found them.. 4  Demonic  cap ships hiding in the Kiper belt...monster ships... we were on them before either side  knew  … we  fired into the   stern of  the first two... damaging the   Engines.. causing   a lot of damage  to the  2nd  one.. the   4th one    shot off towards  Jupiter .. the  third  one  came about   and send  broadsides  at  us  as  we tried to  escape the belt.. we  took a lucky hit to the Bridge.. I lost 4  crew members  and was   wounded.. pretty bad..it would seem..  The  ship that  hit us   came out of the Belt to chase us... we saw the two  damaged  ships leaving.. thier  heading should  put them in the Delta Quad..one was different...Lizard ship? I don't know never  saw one before... Who knows where the   one that escape went...

 in the Back  round ..Commander?.. I'm sorry..its now or never...

I am on the hanger Deck.. our other  two pilots  took off to  Cover Mara... one of them  RAmmed  the CAp ship in the thrusters.. crippling it .. the other one..turned to debris  by the CAp ship's   fighters.. Ugly looking   things...Its a fair  fight now.. as long  as we  don't trade  Broadsides...they are slower then  us   I think the Commander wants to cross the T?.. I dunno..

 Lizzy listened to the messages, she didn't know what to say, she was hearing her Mom's voice really for the first time. When she told the whole story Lizzy was so pissed, everyone could see the fire and the tears in her eyes.

 Lizzy tried to compose herself but hearing her Mom talk her way through her birth and her Mom's death hit Lizzy hard, she sat there for who knows how long, holding the picture of her Mom in her hand. She finally says, tears flowing heavily," Thank you Mom, you where more of a hero than I ever thought you where.' She took a second and said," Umm we need to tell everyone get that Mother Fucking Father of mine here so I can kill him myself."

 Lizzy went from tears to anger in a millisecond, she was a bundle of emotion, Lizzy calmed down and tried to get a hold of her emotions, she then looks at Beth, " I am sorry I lost it Beth but we need to inform the Admiral, the Captain , the Board everyone, and Stefi, and Mara. They need to hear this as well, I am so glad I decided to change my name."

 She will just sit there going over the transmission in her head of everything her Mom said. Her emotions where all over the place she just sat there waiting for others to react.
Then she remembers Izzy and says," I know a reporter who could get this out."

 Lyri  clears he  throat and looks at Beth.  Beth  bit her  lip for a moment,  the transmission is yours, Lizzy.  Who your share it  with.. is  up to you...... I could COM  the  Admiral..or the Captain... its your call?

 Lizzy listens to Beth and takes a deep breath, then she types her new name, Elizabeth "Lizzy" O'Conner. She then scans her chip.  Lizzy was so happy to have her Mom's name now and after what she just heard she was so happy she did.

 Lizzy still looked stunned, then she said," Yes please Comm everyone, Can I take the message to them,  I want all of them to hear this, and know my own Father sacrificed my Mom and almost me for a promotion, I am sorry this has hit me hard , I am so sorry." Lizzy couldn't take any more she bent over put her face into her hands and started really crying, Lizzy just lost it, the information she just got just totally rocked her world, and she wished her Mom was here right now so much.

  Beth awkwardly reached  across and  pated her  hand.... Maria  came over   and hugged her a  bit  whisper  some  soft spanish  words to her.

  Lyri  replaced he r #2   rifle  and  took out he r   Sub machine gun.. and began to  take it  apart.......Shadow never liked him..instructor ...whatever.. and if  Shadow don't like you..there has  to be a reason..he's like some kind of ..Hungarian blood hound.

 beth snorts and shakes head...I have the whole  thing..including   the Med Tech's   ending.... its on this  disc....the  file is unsealed now... any one who goes into your file  will be able to open it, if they know what they are looking for,

 Lizzy just cried it hit her hearing her Mom and then listening to her die, but finding out her Father actually killed her and almost killed her. She would have to know more about Captain Mara, she wondered if that was Lt. Mara's father. Then was the Stefi mentioned in the message was their Stefi then she lost her Mom that day as well. She was lost in her thoughts until Beth patted her hand and Maria hugged her.

 Lizzy came back to everyone, she took a breathe and said," Sorry that was a lot too take in, and yes LC knows bad people when he sees them, oh the 9 Hells my Father really did that. Thank you Beth yes please Comm Captain Si I think she should hear this first and then we can go from there okay Beth. I just don't believe this Beth he would dot hat to his wife and daughter."

Lizzy held her tears and just sat there, shew as basically completely oblivious of who was around her at that moment, she was waiting for Captain Si too come hear her Mom's message.

 Lizzy tried to calm down and added, " You will understand after you hear this Captain Si."

  Si looked Concerned.. she gave   Lizzy a bit of  a Hug, then  turned  and fixed    two cups of  coffee.. sliding one to Lizzy.

 she sat  and listened to it  , he read  shook when the  the report said  one   went towards  Jupiter. … whe it  was over,  Si's   face  was a  cold  mask.. she sipped  slowly from her  Cup...

  Captain Mara  was  killed on Moon Base...... he handed you off   to Med Techs    with him telling    them  whose  daughter  was yours.... then.. he was going to leave  after  a bit  of sleep... he was shot in his  room.. they said it was a Thief..and  shot another man... we never saw  the disc... That  might have been when   Oliver  was on MArs  fighting the   demons... that  cap ship?... is most  likely the  one   we  captured  during a battle at  Jupiter..... the  other   two ships..may have been  part of the  fleet we destroyed at the Battle of the Black.. Stefi shoudl hear this.. as  much  as it will hurt..I think she would be  proud

 Lizzy listened to it again, but she was more prepared this time. " Why was I never told the truth about this, Captain what do we do know, my Father needs to pay for what he has done,"

 Lizzy will drink her coffee, and try to relax, when the Captain asked for others to be called she knew she would be hearing this over again but she was so proud of her Mother and what she did. Lizzy was still a wreck, " Captain Si Ma'am I have a date tonight with Izzy Sakura, she is a reporter she could get this out so everyone knows what happened to the ESN1B Neutron Ma'am?"

 Lizzy will slowly gain control of her emotions and then wait for everyone else to show up.

   As they waited , Captain Si made a bit of a frown at the mention of  'the reporter'.  we  have to  be careful, who we let Know this information... The destruction  of  one CAp ship, and crippling of two others, left one  ship in Soil space, at that time..By the Time the Hermes and Hades  launched..  there were at least two.. we fought and  captured one.. we are assuming the other fled

  Before she  could go on, The Admiral  Came in  with a concerned look, followed  By Mara who looked tired  and   Stefi, who had her bag with her..her eyes checking everyone  to see who might  need a Med Tech, and settled on  Lizzy.

 Maria  Brought  2 chairs over   for the ladies, Hack stood, shifting his  eyes  from  Si to Beth.

  Listen....

 Beth started up the   replay once more.... Mara's  eyes water  as she looked to Hack  and  Si.. Stefi's breath caught at the mention of the Med Tech's name.

 Mara  asked ..that was.. They  said   his ship went  down..pirates or  something? I looked  up  the ship's logs  at the Academy....they were sparse?  only 3 months of cruise time...before...before...But my Dad?.. they said  he was  killed in a robbery on Moonbase?

 Stefi spoke up...My father  died  in  Brazil?... My Mom  became a Med tech  and was assigned to the Neutron..... I don't think anyone knows this was first Contact... They think  The HAdes..  and The Hermes  had the first encounter..

 His eyes  shifted to Si, as  Hack asked, what did  Maris  say about all this?

 ..You were on Mars..which.. hearing this.. they must have had   ships  stationed  in the Kiper Belt, to send that many troops .. the   loss of  3 of those cap ships  would have made  a big difference... one of them   could have ended Moonbase... we had nothing to stop them.. just 10 or so Transport/bases  and   the ESN 1A Electron  and the   1C Atom.. they  weren't even fully finished..

 Hack   went   and  fixed two cups of  coffee handing one  each to Stefi and Mara, then fixing his own..Lyri  watched    The Admiral  as  Hennings  came in the door, a  sweated up  Hermes T-shirt and shorts    with a towel around his   neck... Beth?   Call BAle...

  HAck hands  a coffee to   Hennings  who takes  a  seat  behind the LAdies.. Bale   comes  in, he looks  Mildly put off...This better be good? I was  talking  to the Uden Law-Wright..Bad  Form  having to   leave him like that...

This make s more sense  now, about  The Hades...Thier Admiral wasn't  a very brave man... but..as  we have seen with EDT, they made it look like  they couldn't stand  against the  lone demon vessel.. even with the Athena  coming on line...

 ..we changed alot of  outlooks  when we captured the  Demon ship by ourselves... Imagine  what Earth would have been like, when they heard a Lone  destroyer sent a   Demon squadron packing?

There has been records of   salvage ships  pulling Demon Debris from  The Kiper Belt..people will ask questions... new light  will be shown on Captain Mara's  Death and Lizzy's  life?... Maris   is on Fuji.. he'll be called to answer questions every  damn day.. and Ge-Fi  will have to  either   address the message.. or leave it   go?...If he address it.. it spreads the news  more.. if  he ignores it.. the message continues  to flow... Just like when  we hit  the Villages in The Oil Lords..
