As she entered SEC Izzy’s temper was still fizzing as a result of Wendy’s actions and the damage it had caused both to her and the fleet knowing that footage of Shadow blowing his top and attacking a reporter would not look good no matter how justified he was in doing so ”who let that bitch on the ship!? Because she’s giving the rest of us a bad name!” Izzy vented to the room in general before taking a deep breath and counting down from ten. If only she’d had the chance to dig up the required dirt and turn the tables on her then she could have simply painted her as being the spiteful, vindictive bitch that she was and no damage would have been done.

With a single frustrated sigh Izzy would visibly calm down before asking the ranking SEC member ”where do you guys need me with this alert going off? Do you want me to suit up and join a team or...you know whatever...” in a calm if decidedly uncertain voice. Although she was a member of the press corps she was also a trained rifleman and so if they wanted her to join a team so as to be ready to repel boarders she could do. Failing that she just wanted to be seen as being willing to help unlike certain other people.

Wagstaff staff    was checking his weapon for boarding  party,..I don't  know why she had to  post that? he pointed at the Vid Screens.. right now the ESN Media..APF media and EUP  were  banging heads  as  all of the played the Vid.. some of them  trying to lake light of  it..other   chastising  the last bits.

Izzy would direct a bit of a glare in Lyri's direction in response to her biting back at her, with the master chief seemingly unaware that she was doing exactly what Izzy didn't want to happen "well it's alright for you isn't it?   Lyri looked at her like  she wanted Izzy  to give her a reason......The  media... right?.. The Admiral has  had this  thing, since  we left earth.. I mean that can’t have been Wendy’s first hack job?” Izzy asked suspecting that Wendy had built her entire career on that style of journalism, and if that was the case then why was she let anywhere near Shadow.

It was then that an evil looking Beth would announce that she wanted to watch Fuji news after commenting about Wendy’s vids. Suspect that she already knew what she would find Izzy would produce one of her vidboards and access Fuji’s news stream before holding it out so that Beth and could also watch whatever was about to take place.

  There was a  bit of   time , a  good  10 minutes, Ellen, but this time, had    Dallas   news on  a Vidscreen. while  Lyri  was scanning teh Fuji news links waiting to see something  that  was 'new".

 Beth   watched  botht eht eVid board and the screens, as she  talked , half  focused on what she was saying,..EUP is  independant..which means  they looks  for  stuff to make everyone  happy, whether its attackign a hero of the Fleet, or  shopping Vids of  Lady  V naked on a beach...The APF  netwroks, feed the Whole of the Balck, though i will bet heavy creds there isn't much of thier feeds reaching Earth... The ESN news ship...

 she looked  at Izzy then back to the screens,..is supposed to be on our side....and by that..I mean  doing what the Admiral  wanted..pure  footage...upfront voice overs  and narratives ... Let's  say   that Kase  guy would have been brought up on charges  for helping  Besserman escape the  hearing  he was supposed to have had?..Anyone   beating up on him for
 his war  records, would have been reaching, unless you  count  he  resigning and goign EVOL?...That would have  made things very rough for the LT and he would have had to been sent to  Aqra, or  Astra... heck..maybe even the colonies..all because some one with a mic would have  wanted to make a name for themselves.

 A young  male  reporter  came up,..this is   Andy Jinns..of  ESN  news!... following a  report , not  long  ago, Earth SEC   has  sent  troopers to this  building in Dallas Texas... an Anti-War protest was  being held  by armed  civis  as they   chant..'bring them home'.. and  'home first'... this excitement  was caused  when one of the  civies  raised   thier  weapon  and a Black uniformed man shot him.. the protesters broke and ran.. as the Earth Sec  troops  arrived...

  A Earth SEC Captain stood Next to the   Reporter and said,..Thanks to the Tip from an unknown source , we   have the   EDT  cell trapped in the  apartment Building   7th  floor... we do have a Name of  of  a person who was willing to sign off on the  report, her  name is  Kendall Maxie... a sister of  Wendy Maxie... however.. reports have come through, that the brave woman is  either dead, or  in the hands of EDT, because of her involement with the raid...

 shots where being Fired  as an Earth SEC trooper  got the little  gril to cover, several of the protesters    were dead in the streets, other  where  running  , some of them throwing away thier  weapons.

That Cell was taken with most of the terrorists killed....According to one of the surving members,  the Maxie Family had dealing with the EDT, and sold out the Cells they knew about , here on Fuji... we can only assume, this attack on the house  is payment for them turning away from the EDT.... This is a hard cold lesson..you can join the EDT, but you may never leave.... Now.. there is another  situation we have  involing   a friend of the Maxie  Family?.. I believe  he is the   mate..or will be the mate of  Ms Wendy Maxie?.. there have been shots  fired  at his  home in the lowers... we  can only assume there is more   attacks because of the outing of the EDT..

As the news feeds announced a wave of violence first in Dallas and then on Fuji station as EDT agents clashed with SEC troopers as a result the supposed denunciation of EDT assets by members of Wendy Maxie's family and the resulting retribution attacks, it didn't take a genius to figure out what exactly had happened "you know...it's at times like these that I'm glad my family consists of just my mother and my aunt and we're all dirt poor...well...at least my part of the family anyway, my father's side of the family completely disowned us so who gives a fuck about them" Izzy said with just a hint of bitterness in her voice as she mentioned the Japanese half of her family "so Wendy and her family were EDT? I guess I shouldn't be too surprised...have you considered looking into the rest of the EUP? They did hire her after all" Izzy suggested curious as to how deep the rot had set in within the corporation and whether it was too late to cut it out.

Upon hearing Beth’s reply concerning Wendy’s family, Izzy would carefully school her face to that of complete indifference in order to hide the horror she was feeling, with her already picturing herself many years from now once the war was over, testifying in war crimes tribunal. It as much as she didn’t like it however she knew it would be foolish to try and do anything about it, after all she only an Ensign Reporter ”Well if I’m not needed I’ll see about speaking to Captain Morris about reassigning my old quarters, and maybe the SM in case he has anything for me” Izzy said with a before turning to head out of the door just as Shadow and Shade were coming in.

”They wouldn’t let me even if I wanted to” Izzy quietly responded knowing that not only were her scores most likely too low to qualify as a marine that the SEC that had turned on her the moment she’d set foot on the ship wouldn’t welcome her in amongst their ranks just because she no longer carried a camera. To this end she was unsurprised when the trooper painted the altercation between Shadow and Wendy in an entirely different light and she was once again accused of making the ESN look bad, which was something she was still yet to do with her having dropped her only attempt a story and reporting on nothing but the balls and combat footage. In short if the ESN looked bad then it was it’s own fault and not by her own hand.

With so much turmoil taking place back in the states including her home city of LA, it was a bit of a relief to know that her mom was visiting aunt Rosie out of state. Though with that many dead as a result of the fighting it was starting to better resemble a civil war than a handful of riots.

With her being cleared to leave along with the comment that no further reporters would be coming aboard she would give him a bit of look as if to say that he would be lucky to get any wanting to join after today, especially if she got to speak to them first. Either way she would make her way out of SEC and head back to her quarters in order to change into her armour and collect her carbine. She wouldn’t bother with the rest of her gear as most likely all the spots on the shuttles were now taken, but at least she could do hangar defence.

Roy was nearly to his quarters when he got the comm call from General Bale.  "Protocol violations?"  There was a sharp bark of laughter.  "That's rich...when did it become protocol for him to start fishing for patients on another ship?  And I'm pretty sure it's not protocol to cast aspersions about ambassadors, to their face.  His service record is dubious, General, and I was not about to allow him to even start in on one of my people, so I gave him a directive, as a member of the Corps Command Staff, which he disobeyed.  So I resorted to some minor physical encouragement for him to obey...bumped him with my chest and told him he should pack in preparation for a transfer.  Shadow, being Shadow, may have spoken out of turn...but I'm pretty sure a Fleet WC should be allowed to express his opinion on his own ship, even to a Colonel.  So if there was any violation, it was mine...and Fike's, for swooping in on one of Stefi's patients without her permission.  He wants to make a case out of it, I'll stand at the mast and stack my record up against his, any day."

He was inside his quarters at that point, and added, as he closed the door, "Considering the distressing tendency for his patients to wind up dead within six months of release, I'm sure he would prefer that we not start digging into specifics of his service and methods.  But there's no way in any Hell you want to reference that I'm letting him take Corporal Call."

He shrugged, and added, "And if the Demons and Vampics despise each other as much as they claim to, it's gonna be a shipload of very motivated Demons against whatever military might the Vampics care to muster out against them.  Which sounds like a good time for us to attack, while the Vampics think they're beating down some Demon invaders."

He checked the positions of his sidearms and knives, back in casual uniform.  "But even if he opts to send them to Delta, that just tells the Demons there...plus these...that he actually DOES put some value on Demon lives.  And that's gonna have an impact once the war ends and we have to try and keep a peaceful status in place.  But, yeah...if he sends them to Delta, it better be with a shipload of reinforcements for the guards, as well.  I can think of a couple of volunteers I'd like to send for that duty..."

  Beth   just heads to the door,well?  They got good guy Ape folk in the delta's..and they sorta let the   ones who go through  'schooling' take over..so  the demons will have  ESN Ape folk, and wild ape folk..whuih ones  do you want to fight?

  Lyri chuckles as her  dog tags   jiggle against her shirt as  she  slips  on a Buttoned    shirt that is missing its sleeves,..one day that girl is gonna find some rich guy who thinks  he found the  perfect bubble head... and  She'll be rich  he'll be gone, and he'll wander what happened!

 and she heads for the Rec dec.

 he  and Madsen   got the Prisoners out..  The demon did not fuss,  Maris   did  asking   questions and  what was goign to happen. his rewards  were  hard thrusts through  door way..sometimes the doorways were even open!

   at the SEC  One of the guards out side the door, went with them....

  when the elevator reached the Officers  dec.. both Door  opened.. Max and stiff  followed..on of the  guards  from the Engine  room strode up to stand in the Middle of the dec while the other  stood by the engine room doors.

 From the Bridge   one guard  came  down towards them  while the other  stood in the Middle of the   passage way  Two Guards  stood outside  the Admirals's Quarters, and  two across the Hall.

  reaching the door,  the guards  hit the button, the doors hissed open and the Smell of food  filled the air.. Te   general and  Maris   were taken  to   the left  end ot the table,, Maris  was cuffed by his ankle to the chair..  The General was not cuffed..  Nagy  walked across the room   while Madsen  stood  on the other  side.. the other guards  left to return to thier posts

  Kad  Da Kal sat in his  cell..he was  watchign Vids...sometimes  a show.. sometimes  Vids of the battle...he even watched  some of the Live  Stream, the APF  was putting up.

  Maris  say on his  cot, curled up  his  reddened  eyes  watchign every move. Nagy checked on them Kal just waved.... Maris   shouted..

 what are they going to do to me!!!

 Nagy stopped  and Looked  in, hit the  COM button and said,Doesn't much matter?..You can't  stop it..none of us want to stop it...by this time tomorrow?  you won't be around..just and  after thought..but you didn't  Just cross the line?..you  tried to rub it out... people  died because of what you did...

 ..I'll tell you this  up front... traitors have always suffered... I can only imagine what you will be put through...
