    Three things to remember in this game
1.  Mixing it up might not be good for your character, but it makes the story line awesome.
2.  The only time the GM is wrong is when he admits he's wrong. [that's really all games]
3.  The more you do, the more you get done. [Hacks got your back, chase your chr's story]

  As  I have  often stated...IC  and OOC.. I have  a  few years on some of you..lots of  years on others.... I remember  shows .. One like  Garrat  ha stated..'Starship troopers' with  embedded    Reporters..

 My 'Media  news" is based on that  and   sports  shows with the talking  heads reading  news  and adding  thier own  two creds  worth'

 Old ( you can find them on YouTube)  WWII shows  , like' Combat ' and  'Gallant Men'  had  at least one episode with reporters ( not  called 'embedded ' back then)

  Watching the News  in the late 60's  and   early 70's , seeing   correspondents  with   artillery to tents  behind them, telling  us how 'well' the war was going.

 the first desert war, brought the  term ' embedded journalist ' to mainstream  with   , sometimes, live fire  blurbs.

 I think? ( could be  wrong) one of th star treks  had   such a thing.

 If you play Vid GAmes  MAsseffect had a pain-in-the -butt  reporter, whom  Shepard   Punched out ( well..My shepard did..can't  see how you don't punch her out)..and there  was a reporter that  was in MAss Effect Andromeda .

 Body line?.. Not   a bad character... rolled the dice  with accepting   it...but?..as with any other character  death  could come.

 There   will be issues  , I am sure.. protests..battlefield   head Bumping, and  , perhaps rants  from  other  characters, NPCs   and  even 'fans'

 We  shall see.

In the UK, we have one legendary 'embedded reporter' called Brian Hanrahan who was on a carrier in the Falklands War (1982). Not allowed to mention just how many 'planes were launched for obvious reasons, he came up with "I counted them all out, and I counted them all back in again".

She’s not really an embeddened reporter though. She’s Combat Camera and a Lt. so she’s military.

well?  its  the term I am  using, in my limited  Military Mind .

 what Henry said.. is a standard in all WWI  Movies... where the Adjudant...Commander.. Grounds crew or love interest watched the plane s take off... then   count them as they come back..some trailing smoke.. some...missing.

 One of the best scenes  for that. the Planes  are comign it..engine's burping from  damage.. Smoke  traing  from some.. fabric  fluttering      as they get closer... The Adjutant  counts them..looking concerned...

 The  greounds  crews  run out to thier PIlots  with Chocks   and such.. and  One  crew  runs to the  end of  the   field.. seeing no more planes,, the crew  chief  waves the rest towards the planes  that came  in, throwing down his   chocks in disgust

You can always learn new things from others and expand on the character its what i do for Zob even though hes mostly combat oriented it helps with understanding his human side a lot better.

  How close is the last guard?

  about half  way between the  Iron wrough  fence  and the MAin doors..so.. say  about  20 yards... not more then 25...he would have taken a few steps towards the 'kid'..

I guess I miscounted...

In the  front.. 2  guards  by the main doors...1 guard   and dog walking.. One Guard  that JOe MAc  Gunned down..after your shots..no guards  at the doort.. no Dog..one guard lookign at Joe Mac.

   Melia  and Shadow took  care of thiers.

 body count...

 4 guards   tw  dogs in North west corner..

2 guards   1  dog , roof

2  dead  guards  main doors..

 one dead  dog and  Guard  in the front of the yard

2  dead guards  1 dog  By  Gate, Joe Mac  got at the start.

 leaving..

 1 live guard   with a weapon pointed at Joe MAc.

any place to hide?

 more  Joe Mac?.. not unless he runs  acvross the street..Shadow  and Melai   are making thier  way  down the shrubs on the  west side of the building

Its really not a big deal ultimately, but if you had to put it in earth age he would be around 34 give or take.

That's just a rough estimate don't quote me on that.
