Question....did McNeals action figure go up in value?  I mean she is listed under the 'Scots'.  But now she is a traitor I would assume her figure would be pulled, making it 'rarer'.  Sort of like the Zartan figure in G.I.Joes.

Probably depends on who's buying...I'm the wrong guy to ask.  I don't even like my own action figure...

(On a more realistic note...where Zartan was only ever a fictional character, versus McNeil having been celebrated as a hero and then turning traitor, I'm guessing that her figure will initially plummet in value.  Yeah, it will be pulled from the shelves and therefore become harder to get a new one...but the marketplace will likely be flooded with people who decide to dump their figures, offsetting that scarcity.)

 I'm not close to being  an expert at things  as collectables go? I do have a  site i go to, to bid on football items   for  My  younger daughter and   2 oldest grand kids  ( and once in a while, myself!)

 its   a bit differant mow  I'm retired  so I have to use  my hea dmore, when bidding ect.

 anyway... You talk  Mike Vick... I never liked him at all, he was  more a Runnign back, then a QB?..anyway..he  was a  hero to many..and  then dropped  a lot after the whole  'dog fight' thing.

  On the site  I use  now?.. Jerseys  show up  for him, but they are much lower  cost.... I have  seen  stuff in  my  historic  collectors   catalogs where  enemy aces display Models  are  on par  with allied  heroes ...in in the catalog  that's   Just  called   Historic  Military.. there are even figures  for Hitler. ( my fav catalog is Historic Aviation ..they  start with  wright brothers  type  stuff..and go stroaght  thporuhg..and Beyond   with  Star Trek and Starwars  aircraft , and  BSG (  jerks  don't have  iny  'Beyond  2012   stuff  though!)

It would probably depend on the collector, some people would overlook her crimes in order to have the full set, others meanwhile would go out of their way to own the “infamous Mcneil” action figure. Most people wouldn’t want to touch it with a barge pole less they get tarred with the same brush.

Nothing wrong with loaded questions, just keeps everyone on their toes :D

Nice, just saw a trailer for a new movie coming out about the battle of Midway. If it’s even partially as good as the 70s version with modern big budget battle scenes I’ll be a very happy movie goer.

if they have  any 'combat footage' from archives. My Dad's  destroyer  might be there.. the shelled  Islands.. did  picket duty  and escorted  supplies...

 I have a book  my dad  got from the   reunion guys.. has all kinds of   news clippings … one tells the story   as they  Moved  into the shell the  Island,  they got  hung up  on a sand  bar.. the CAptain hand   the     Guns  fire..one  side. then the   other to 'rock ' the ship out of the sand , and into   deeper water..

all kinds of  stories to tell  about that little  ship, that I read or heard tell.
