Shadow   shrugged  as Dixie  sang,SEC  was  Voluntary..... Roll and Orria   were there.. Roll made it  the whole  way around.. even beat   Higgins..the Pilto in his hover  chair...

 Roll was eating  a  forkful of pie... and smiled.

 That pilot asleep with  the two Angel Piltos.. he  just barely beat Orria.. too much for him it looks like.. I made him run again... LArry and Gregor  made sure  he didn't jake on the  run..

Zob glanced over to Roll and smiled, "That Higgins guy never stood a chance" he then listened for a bit at Dixie sing before addressing Shadow, "I was busy getting new boarding armor fitted after having my last suit get destroyed on Bura"

Zob gave a small hmph noise as he heard the statement from Shadow, "If that's what we have to look forward to in the upcoming fight then I'm not at all impressed..." he then looked at Shade, "No offense intended buddy" then gave a thumbs up.

  Shade returned the thunbs up  and  whirled a bit.

  ..he said he considers himself   Udenese  Shadow shrugs,if it is  true, that  Lilit and  Adem were Ladies  parents.. , he's  right... and that would expalin why they wanted to 'fix them'..because the skin phasing  is  of Udenese design, not  'pureblood ' verian...

 what i don't understand, nor have been told, Why was General  Higgins here.. if you are going over things   with  the Dropships..why wouldn't you talk to Cummings?..unless there were  some talks   with Cunmmings  when he was here  for the Big meeting...but hey?  I'm just  the LC..right?.. ”Maybe” Isobel coyly replied as Lizzy came to join her before taking a sip of her coffee in an attempt to hide the flush of colour creeping up her cheeks. Although she hadn’t missed her, so to speak, she was certainly very happy to see Lizzy, her heart speeding up just at the mere sight of her. She would chuckle softly as Lizzy said she was going to get changed out of her flight gear in order to paint her nose art, with her leaning in to quietly whisper ”that’s a shame...I kind of have a thing for uniforms” a flirtatious smile on her lips as she leaned back and considered their date tonight ”Well we don’t want to go too early or it will be empty...maybe we could grab a bite to eat before we go? I could cook us something if you like?”

 Lizzy smiled and said, Oh only maybe huh, well I hope you are at least happy to see me. Lizzy smiled as she could tell Izzy was glad to see her.

 When Izzy mentioned she had a thing for uniforms. Oh you do now,  you like my flight suit better or my duty uniform you dear Izzy? Lizzy smiled and she also liked seeing Izzy in her uniform but Harry would probably joke Izzy was too young to be in the military.  Well Izzy you look amazing in your uniform. Then Lizzy thought she would look even better in nothing.

 When Izzy brought up their date she replied,Oh wow I would love to have dinner with you in your quarters. Lizzy smiled she was looking forward to a nice home made dinner alone with Izzy, Lizzy was very excited about it actually.


 Then she took a drink of her juice and then said,Well when should I show up to your quarters for dinner and what should I wear Izzy?

It was then his root beer and slice of pizza showed up he thanked the waitress and took a sip of the root beer, "Honestly at this point i expect every stupid person they send this way to be a EDT plant... hard to trust anybody these days"

  Shadow  eyes  shifted  to the Table the  Reporter  sat,,That, My friend.. is as  true as any words i have her  spoken to day...

 Gregor  was  Gobbling Up  met and bones in his   dish, The waitress 'slipped' Larry  some have eaten porkchops to go with his  scraps.

 Sneak got up,..I have to work... If you  have Duity, make sure Roll gets back to his home with Gregor.

 She  Kissed   Jax on the eha d and  went to the stalls.

 Roll  was munching his  pie  and said,..when can we go and see Miss  Beth  about  my  Vidboard?

 In a BIt.. don't you worry... you're not going home until tis  fixed, or you have a New One...

 Shade  shook his head,bleeping as he did.

 ..Shade  says the screen is melted...  we might  have to crack it open to see if we can get , whatever info you have on the inside.

Zob decided to ask seeing as they kept bringing up the broken vid board, "What happened to the vid board that caused it to break?" he asked obviously missing a lot of key information.

"Hmm...I might be" Izzy quietly giggled as she continued the charade with it plain to anyone that cared to look that she was more than a little happy to see Lizzy, with her cheeks turning a brighter shade of pink as Lizzy questioned her about her taste in uniforms "Definitely the flight suit" she whispered back, with her hoping that no one was currently listening in on them as it could make life rather embarrassing for her.

With Lizzy agreeing to her suggestion of a meal at her place Izzy would smile as she replied to the questions of when Lizzy should arrive and what she should wear "Well I was thinking that maybe you could come over to mine around six-ish, we have some wine and something to eat and then maybe watch a film together before hitting the Pulse" she softly spoke, waiting to see what Lizzy thought of the idea before continuing "...As to what to wear, I was planning on going to go out in a dress and heels...though...um...maybe we should tone it down a little? I felt we probably attracted a little too much attention" as much as she'd enjoyed getting all dressed up and seeing Lizzy in that beautiful red dress and makeup it had kind of drawn a cross hair on their backs and as much as she like Lizzy she'd didn't want to spend the rest of her days being made fun of because of it.

With Lizzy unsurprisingly making a beeline for the cute reporter Harry would simply roll her eyes as she headed towards her usual table with Will. After placing her flight helmet and machine pistol on the seat beside her she would lean across to give Will a quick kiss on the cheek "well...that was fun, it's not everyday I get third place" she said as she attracted the attention of one of the waitresses on duty "What would you like to drink baby? I'm on fruit juice...also I seem to recall someone mentioning something about real food"

  Will nods,..Order what you  want, my treat. Since  all i got to do was  watch a Vidboard  and see who is going to have  some 'extra ' to do, ebcause they decided it was  a smart thing to make the LC  mad.

 I'll have some of that stew?  and a Cola... Dana  Nodded as she looked around  the Dec,

 You guys have been pretty busy/..lots of  big wheele  rolling in and out..

 When Izzy said she liked her better in her flight suit Lizzy was not surprised it fit her like a second skin and showed off all of her very nice curves. She whispered in her ear," Oh so you like the skin tight uniform I see, well thank you I am glad you like me in it."

 Heather listened to what Izzy wanted to do tonight, she smiled an replied," That sounds amazing and I would love to do that, I will really like that Izzy."  When Izzy said they brought to much attention to themselves on last night date Lizzy smiled, chuckled a bit and said," Yeah we did do that didn't we, hey I am good with jeans and a t-shirt to chill with you and I can dance that way at the pulse as well Izzy, how does that sound?"

 Lizzy was very happy she was going to have a quiet night with Izzy for a while and then go dancing after, but Lizzy wasn't sure if Izzy really wanted to go dancing or maybe just stay in for the night and Lizzy wouldn't mind either that is for sure.

 Lizzy will finish her juice and say," Well if you are looking for more interviews, try Gia and Harry's sister Abby, I have to store my gear and change. If you get done with your interviews you can come see me do my nose art if you would like?"

"That sounds good to me" Izzy responded with a smile, almost certain that Lizzy could make even a pair of jeans and a T-shirt look glamorous with very little effort on her part "I'll even let you pick the film...unless you like Chinese martial arts films" she added with a giggle suspecting that they wouldn't be to Lizzy's taste somehow, that and they weren't exactly what she would call an ideal date night film.

With the subject moving away from tonight to that of her piece on the fighter wing, Izzy would blink in surprise as Lizzy mentioned that Harry and Abby were sisters "wait, Harry and Abby are sisters?" she said in a surprised voice, wondering why neither of them had thought to mention that they had a sibling on the ship Damn it if I'd realised that I'd have interviewed them together! she silently curse at the missed opportunity. oh well it couldn't be helped now "Yeah Abby would probably be a decent choice, I've spoken to her before...and maybe find a male pilot to talk to, it's a little girl heavy at the moment"

"It's not exactly your fault you had to sit today out...it's not like you chose to get shot" Harry kindly said before adding with a laugh "also I really should learn to keep my gob shut before it gets me into serious trouble" she said, just a little surprised that she hadn't been made to run any extra laps for giving the LC some attitude.

When it came time for Harry to place her order she would offer Dana a friendly smile as she spoke "I'd like the Biryani please, also could you do me a favour please Dana? You see I'm going to ask you for a Rum and Coke but what I need you to do is accidentally forget to put any rum in it, Do you think you could do that for me?"

 Lizzy smiled and said," Great I will find a tight pair of jeans and a sexy t-shirt for you then." She laughs and chuckles as she stands and puts her hand on her shoulder. When Izzy brought up Chinese martial arts films, she gives her a funny look as says," Well I have actually never seen one, I also don't understand Chinese, but i would love to learn. I was thinking more of a romantic comedy, or maybe even a movie about Fighter pilots or two people falling in love?" Lizzy said that last part quietly so others wouldn't hear just Izzy.

 When Izzy reacted to Abby and Harry being sisters, Lizzy would say," Yes they are sisters I didn't think that was a secret, but maybe she didn't want umm a reporter knowing they where sisters, shit I might have said too much Izzy. Please don't get me in trouble with Harry if she didn't want you to know that, maybe you can talk to Abby and get it out of her using your amazing skills as a reporter Izzy." Lizzy was now confused Harry had told others Abby was her sister, but she didn't want Harry to get mad at her. Lizzy will look very confused as she just said something bad.

 When Izzy brought up she has talked to Abby before she smiled and when she asked about male pilots she had a weird look on her face and she said," That is great you have talked to Abby before, as for Male pilots all the ones I know have been here awhile, but maybe talking to Lt. Howe, Sam's friend she met on Bura, he is a squad leader he could help you out and you know him as well."

 With that Lizzy smiled and got close to Izzy, she held her hand and very quietly said, " I really want to kiss you but I wont here maybe later Izzy?"

  Jax  Grinned  at  Zobs  question... Roll was  engrossed in his  icecream soda.

  Well, SGT Zob? The SEC used to make sweeps into the stem..if they saw  gangs they would rbeak them up, or send  them running..sometimes.. the meaner  SEC  would just shoot, or  try to  run us  down on thier Hover  Bikes..... One of the oplder Gangers  pointed out, that  , when hover  things  were in the air, everything  was ok..the thrusts   kep them going..but when they were  close to the  bround , the  Thrusters  pushe doff the surfaces of   roads..walls  Buildings , stuff like that.... He was pretty smark for a Ganger?

 ..Any way, he had this set up.. that if you were  runnign from a Biker.. you  would  Go down an alley  way..there were  boards  scattered about.. when the Biker   got  close you    Grabbed a Board  and   put it under the Bike  and lifted.. the  Thrusters  Pushed off, sideways  and the Bike  would  wreck most times  , because of the walls.... then you could beat up  or kill the SEC  guy, and  get his weapons  and creds...

 The guy in the hover chair, had to  go around the  tunnels...and the LC  said he better  beat Roll.. Roll worked real hard to get ahead..but..well..he's not much for running. Then when i saw the  guy in the chair   trying to knock Roll down..i saw his backpack and yelled  for him.. Roll  put it  Under the   Chair and Lifted and the chair  wreacked.. burned up his Vidbaord and cookies  though..Back pack isn't  too happy either!

  Shadow  stood,..let's go see  about that Vid Board Roll,,  Shade you coming?

 Thumbs up.

 ....Larry , you come too...um?..Roll? carry Gregor..he ate himself to sleep again...

 Larry, wanting to help..finishe the food  in Gregor's  bowl. Shadow  left  a 20 cred  tip on the table, picked up the Bowls  to drop off  at the stalls.

 Jax  waved to Zob and  followed   along.

 The odd parade of the LC.. Jax.. Roll, Shade  and LArry   along with a zonged out  Gregor...who seemed to be  getting a bit bigger then last Time Roll had to carry him.

After grabbing that free drink for both herself and Haley (Haleys was a chocolate milk and hers an iced tea), Nikki got them both a grilled ham and cheese sandwich with veggie chips for lunch.  After eating and chatting with Mitch all 3 cleaned up and headed for the hangar bay and Mitch to his craft and Nikki and Haley would go finish up the nose art on her Mantis.  Haley waved at Lizzy and the other lady, then to Harry and Will.  She just had a big grin on her face...slightly covered with chocolate milk.

Unsurprisingly Lizzy didn’t speak Chinese, though she didn’t say that she didn’t like martial arts films so perhaps Izzy could introduce her to that particular passion of hers another time, but tonight was a night for cuddling up together with a romantic film on the TV and the lights turned down low ”hmmm yes something a little more romantic would be nice” she softly replied.

On the subject of Harry and Abby being sisters, Izzy would find herself feeling rather confused as to whether or not she should actually know that particular piece of information, though suggesting she talk to Lt Howe about potential male interviewees was a good call ”that’s not a bad idea, I just don’t want to be accused of being biased by only interviewing female pilots” especially if people learn we’re dating

As Lizzy gently took her hand and whispered that she wanted to kiss her, Izzy would feel her cheeks heating up ” I...I want you to kiss me too, just...not here please...I’m just not ready for other people to know that I’m...” with the sentence cut short, Izzy would nervously look up at Lizzy, certain that she would know what she had been about to say out loud with her hoping that she would keep it to herself  for the time at least ”I should let you get back to work...I’m really looking forward to tonight”

 Lizzy smiled when Izzy brought up watching something more romantic she just smiled at her.

 When Izzy said talking to Howe was a good idea Lizzy smiled again and said, Hey you do know him and he can suggest male pilots. Yeah you don't want both male and female pilots, and honestly doing a piece on pilots you should do a formal interview with the LC. Lizzy knew Izzy would not like this but honestly doing a piece on Hermes pilots without him would be a slap in the face Izzy had too at least ask him.

 When Izzy talked about the kiss she knew she was nervous and Lizzy said,Oh don't worry I understand, I will keep myself under control in public. but then whispering she said ,But in private I will not hold back Izzy She gave Izzy a wonderful, seductive smile.

 Lizzy smiled and said, Yeah I should finish my nose art I have a feeling something big will happen soon, a big battle I think,  comm me later or drop by the Hanger bay. Lizzy really smiled when Izzy said she was looking forward to tonight Lizzy whispered, Me too Izzy i cant wait either. With that Lizzy again smiled and walked very happily towards her quarters to get changed.

 She saw Haley and waved at her, Lizzy loved kids so much. She also waved to Harry, and Harry could tell Lizzy was very happy, and calm, except she looked very excited about something as well.

Melia and Orria entered the RECDEC, Orria had changed into so not sweaty clothes. Melia had stuck with the fatigues she'd been wearing, but left the blouse off on top leaving the moisture wicking undershirt exposed to the air to help her cool off.

Orria immediately scooted off for the promised ice-cream/desert that Shadow had promised her. She parks herself next to Shade and when he's not talking she talks with him about her vidboard work. She munches on a slice of pizza for a while as well.

Melia also joined the table giving Zob a smile and a nod. She'd stayed at her place that night, mostly out of responsibility for Orria, and Zob had been busy. Plus the aggravating call from the school teacher. She ordered for herself a large omelet with extra meat and veggies as well as a cup of coffee.

Zob finished off his slice of pizza and sipped his root beer looking up at Melia, "So how was your morning?" he asked her starting up some casual conversation.

Melia shrugs a little, "Did the morning run, and wound up beating Shadow again. Orria ran for the first time. For a number of reasons not one of which being as punishment for misbehavior. She did okay, but will need to start getting into better shape if she's going to be allowed to continue to help Beth during ops. Currently working on an overloaded omelet. What about you what'd you wind up doing?"

Orria had started to work on a lesson on her vidoboard, as despite her suspension she would be in worse trouble if she got behind.
