Harry had spent much of the journey back up to the Hermes with her head gently resting against Will's shoulder as he held her hand within his lap, with the blonde pilot seemingly taking the opportunity to take a quick nap, though she would awaken fairly quickly once the transport had landed upon the hangar dec.

With her hands full of shopping she would descend the ramp in time to see a team of ground crew manoeuvring Raven's fighter into the flight line. Other than that the hangar was remarkably quiet as she and Will walked it's length towards the lifts only for Harry to pause when she saw Shadow by his fighter "I'll see you at our quarters baby, I just want to have a quick word with the LC" she said to Will, giving him a quick peck on the cheek before walking over to where Shadow was "Hey LC, I...um...I got you this" she said holding out the bag with the Lady model inside "Will and I found a pair of them in a toy shop and well I thought  you might like it, it's kind of a thank you for putting up with my shit present" she said as she anxiously waited to see how he would react to her gift.

It was a fairly fast flight from Uden.  The pilot was very accomplished.  Looking out Haley could note others including Roll and Gregor, Jax, Shadow, Harry, Sneak, and a lot of others.
Haley skipped about excitedly  She wanted to tell everyone what she did today, and listen to their stories as well.

    There was a bit of a smile on Will's  face  as the elevator  door closed.. others    were approaching to head to their  quarters or  Rec Dec.

 Shadow    came out  from under the   Fighter, with a Hyperspanner..a Hydro soanner in   Shade's  Hand  as Shadow showed him  where and  why the tightened  things up.

 ..Oh?.... he put  the spanner on the Wong..Shade  titled his head  between  Harry and  Shadow.

  Looking in the Bag, he  took out  the 'odd  colored Box' ( since   Delta Toys  had Blue and Green colors..this  had  Blue  and Purple)

 he  Looked at, at first, Seeing the Hammer IV..with his  Number he  smirled a Bit..until he saw the Name..and  the   face on the side of the box..

  wait?...is..is that Suppsoed to  Be   LAdy?

  Shade  Bleeped  excitedly and Pulled on Shadow  arm, he showed  him the Box, Shade  took  it  gently..an odded.. low whine  came from The  Little  Half....Udense. he hugged the box... little noises  coming from him.

 Shadow  tried to   take a deep breath, he looked up at the HAnger Dec roof  as he   controlled his  emotions...I..Think Will will let me  slide....  he gave her  a  soft  Hug.. he said  quietly  so Shade could not hear.....I never knew?.... We were lead to believe  she looked more like Evert then Lilit. seeing that picture?  there is  no doubt, Lady was her Mother.

 He stood back  a bit,  taken a deep breath.I ..dunno, harry?.. I mean, I say thank you..but it seems a poor  acknowledgement..

  Sneak patted    Role on the head, and the little guy ran towards  Haley...I was waiting for you... we went shopping.. Jax  got some creds he said  were for us..for something?..maybe  being LArg MAster?... anyway we  bought some thing, and  i gotcha  this...

 he  held out  something as big as a football, that was wrapped in purple and Gold  Udesne  wrapping paper.

  Dupe  and others  streamed through the Hanger dec..the  quiet, now become a  buzzing  as more and more people  trooper  through.

Lizzy walked out of the big Ugly holding Izzy's hand, she saw Nikki and Haley, Mitch and who could miss Meari, tall with purple hair she stood out more than Lizzy even did. She then looked and Izzy said," Do you want the both of us to talk to Captain Morris, and then you can go do your work thing?"

Zob took his sweet time getting off the transport, when he stepped off onto the deck with Melia he turned to her, "I have to handle a few things before I head back home shouldent take more then a hour or two" he smilied then headed off to the QM cage for his first stop.

Melia stepped off the shuttle, keeping an eye on Shade and Orria.  Orria, hummed and whirred something at Shade about wanting to find Beth to see if she was needed to prepare for the next day and then glanced at Melia who raised an eyebrow at the to her unintelligible language she'd walked into. By then Shade had already headed off to go check Shadow's fighter. "Can I go see if Ms Beth needs help?" Orria asked this time using a language Melia understood.  Melia smiled, "Sure don't be too late, and stick close to her. Comm me if you go anywhere else."

She nods to Zob with a smile. "Sure, I need to stop at the medlab and replace some gear. See you then." She says with another smile and a wave as she drifts in that direction. While she drifts towards the medlab.

Orria pulls out her comm and texts Beth asking if there's anything she can do to help prepare for the next day.

Harry could feel her heartbeat quickening as Shadow took the Lady model out of the bag, with her really hoping that he would like it. Seeing the stunned look on his face as he asked whether the picture on the box was Lady, Harry would nod her head in confirmation of what he already knew "Yeah, it's her...I double checked with the shopkeeper to be certain, but...she looks like Dusk, or rather Dusk looks like her" Harry quietly babbled as Shade saw a picture of his mother for the time. With the entire scene being utterly heartbreaking, Harry was beginning to feel a little choked up herself as Shadow gave her her hug as he thanked her "No, honestly Shadow after everything you've done for me and Will this is the least I could do...I mean, let's face it, with all of my issues most WC's would have packed me off to a med ship for a psyche evaluation, I'm just glad you guys like it"

Hawkeye hopped onto the flight deck, took a deep breath and checked her comm unit. There was still some hours to go before things got under way. She wanted to check Will out again after that intense surgery session. See if there was any way she could get him better faster. She hated the idea of having him go out on a jump. The kids luck on side actions and other events was... well terrible, but also she didn't want to see his depression at getting left out get the best of him.  She sighs and taps out a comm message, "CPL Call, please come to medlab for a follow up on your injuries. --LT Price"

She then heads to the medlab to grab a cup of coffee, and study Will's case file looking for anything she can do until he arrives.

Although she was a little sad to be leaving Uden after spending such an enjoyable day there, Izzy was excited to be moving on to the next stage of her relationship with Lizzy, even if it was happening far quicker than she'd ever imagined it would.

Walking hand in hand with Lizzy, she would quickly check the time as she considered her proposal that they go and see Captain Morris "Yeah that might not be a bad idea, as I'm not sure how long work will take" she replied once she was certain that she had enough to get changed into a uniform and head down to SEC before things were due to kick off.

With the heels of her red ankle boots clicking on the dec plates, they would head towards Captain Morris shed. With Izzy figuring that it was as good a place as any in which to find him, assuming of course that he'd actually returned to the ship and wasn't still in transit from Uden. All the while Izzy would keep half an eye on the time so she wouldn't miss what was due to take place in SEC.

 Shadow  chuckled softly  as he was  in control  again,..Naw? I couldn't  send you to  a Med tech hsip?  What have they ever  do to me!

 Shade  had  say on the dec, his  eyes  staring at the Box.. he pointed at it  it  made a very sad sounding Bleep..

 Shade looked up, handing the  box to Shadow,  carefully  Shadow  opened the   box, the 'new toy ' smell was there... behind the  aircraft ( wired in of  course )  was   the  Picture... a Udenese Version of  a trading card. but much nicer as it was in a plastic  sleeve.. it  show   Lady in an Udenese pilot's fight suit , with only a chest protector , rather then full armor over top...One her left hand on her    hip.. her   right hand Holding her head gear... the  found staid ( in  Udenese)  'Lady'... and  a Number on the side  was  '19'.. Shade stood up as  Shdaow  let   Harry look at the pic.

 The Back had  stats ...the notable was 15 Verian Kills...

 when  Harry was finished  looking he  handed the  pic to Shade,..don't  bend that up.. we'll see about getting a bigger one made...

 Shade  stepped  forward  after  holding the card  for a  Moment... and he have   Harry a  tight  hung he bleeped a few times ina  'wet ' kind of  way... and then bleeped again.

 ..Go headed.. don't ley anything happed to that..  he ran off towards Roy and some of the  others  Bleeping like crazy  waving the pic...

 Shadow watched  while he carefully closed the Box,..Thanks again.... I mean..people see this stuff as toys?...make jokes about them... but they all mean somethign to some one?...whether its  just   a collection..or...you have a connection to someone who they made a fig of?.... in his case?..... He  got to see his Mom..for real..not  a nose  art chick?.. The Mom he gave  up being a 'whole' Udenese is for, because he was supposed to protect his sister...

 he drifted   quiet  for a bit  as his eyes grew Glassy watching  Shade  wave the pic  at  Roy, and Captain Morris.. he  added,..I don't  believe in Karma, except thjat she is a lazy bitch.... I like to think i help her  tie up loose ends...but would it not be  funny... if Lady's Aircraft number was  '19'... and the only damn reason in The  Whole of The Black i was picked to  'buy her'.. was that my fighter  carried that number....

 ...and Imagine what the 9 hells are  bringing to Adem..with Lady's  Mom... Lady's  son and Daughter, and the schumck whose  DNA   finished  the recipe  are
 coming to knock on his damn door....

   Shade   came  Running Bleeping like  Crazy waving the plastic  covered   picture  around   as he ran up to Roy and Captain Morris.. he was  practically jumping up and down.

  Flores   came  around the flight lines, she was  wearing  off  duty unifrom, she  looked happy But  Tired... what's  up with Shade?

 Shadow  smiled,..he has the pic.... Harry  and Will found this....

 Flores looked at it her eye got   wide...all the Gods  be damned!....She ...she was a person once!.l

 Shadow    said sadly,..she always was...just wore   armor she  couldn't  ever  take off...

  ... i was glad  when you beat Blu to death.... I watch it something on the vids..just for the  9 hells of it...right now..i wish we  could dig him up and do it again...

 Lizzy and Izzy headed for Captain Morris's shed, " Awesome lets get this done real quick then, but we might have to move on our own though." Lizzy was walking over when she saw Harry and Will with LC and Shade and then Shade started bleeping and making noises and running around. Lizzy had no clue what was wrong or up, but Shade headed over to Roy and Captain Morris.

 Lizzy turns to Izzy," Oh he is over there with the SM, come on I hope he has time for this." Lizzy and Izzy will head over to Captain Morris, Lizzy will look at Shade and say," Are you okay what is up Shade?"

  Shade  bleeped to Lizzy and Izzy  as Roy and  Captain Morris studied the picture.

 frans , Mara  and  Eckles  were   coming down to see those  coming back from  shore leave  and stopped a few feet away   watching the scene

 Lizzy will try and figure out what is going on with Shade, he seemed very happy. Once it is figured out that Shade was excited to have a picture of Lady his Mother.

 Lizzy will go to Captain Morris with Izzy and say," Umm excuse me Captain Morris Sir we where not sure how to do this but Izzy and I would like to move in with each other, so you can use the other quarters for someone else, ummm Sir do you have larger quarters for Ensign couples, we just need a lot of closet space Sir." Lizzy smiles at Captain Morris.

 Captain Morris  gave   Shade  a   fatherly pat on the shoudler  and waved the two , to his shed...

 ..all quarters   are designed  to ...'fit'.. two people since out last  refit.. it would be tight, but it wouldn't be much different  had the Admiral not asked for separate  quarters.. we   left them able to double up in case we had to take on more crew or survivors and what not...

  we will look at the   map..and  you can choose  which  quarters you want to move to..yours or hers.... LT  quarters   are for one person, but designed   that 3 people might fit, and so on... you'll have to  get  your  bars  before   you get those quarters

Roy knelt down, not in a condescending way, but so that Shade didn't have to wave the picture up at him.  "Slow down...you know I can't understand anything when you start talking too fast..."  He was only half-joking...he could usually make an educated guess at what Shade was trying to say, but with as fast as he was vocalizing, and a lack of any cues beyond the picture, Roy couldn't tell where one phrase ended and the next began.  As Shade calmed down, Roy got a chance to look at the picture.

"Wow..." he breathed, as he started reading the information.  He looked back at Shade.  "Y'know...when I first came aboard the Hermes, we had no idea she was an actual living entity...we just thought she was some kind of AI package that the Verians had developed.  I didn't even know Verians existed.  It wasn't until we were upgrading fighters that Shadow learned...and then the rest of us learned...that we couldn't just disconnect her from one fighter and plug her into another."

He looked at the picture again, and then handed it back to Shade.  "It never dawned on me to wonder what she looked like before she was integrated with the fighter body...I just thought Verians had different life cycles and she'd always been some kind of machine-entity.  She was beautiful...Dusk definitely has her genetic imprint present...it's apparent in the shape of her face and her general build."

He chuckled wryly and gave Shade a bump on the shoulder.  "Looks like you took more after your dad...explains why you have challenges communicating with everyone else..."

 Meari walked out of the Big Ugly with Nikki, Haley and Mitch, she sees Shade go a little happy crazy which was good to see him so happy.  Then she saw the Verian female walking across the Hanger Dec. Meari said to Nikki, Haley and Mitch," I will see you guys later, I had a great time, but I see something I need to investigate. Good day Lady Haley."

 Meari will then move very quickly and follow the Verian towards Captain Morris's Shed, Meari will see Captain Morris coming with Lizzy and Izzy as well with him. Meari will head off the Verian put her hand on her sidearm, and say," Hello are you on the wrong ship, I am Sgt Meari, Granmod to War Lord Lilit, state who you are and why you are here before I cut you in half?" Meari moved into a combat position ready to strike the Verian if she moved in any threatening way.

They would approach Captain Morris together and wait for him to finish speaking to Roy before Lizzy went on to ask him if they could move in together and whether there were larger quarters available. Unsurprisingly the only way they would be getting larger quarters was if one of them got promoted to Lieutenant, with Izzy throwing her girlfriend an I told you so look, however there was no problem with them moving in together and all they had to do was complete the necessary paperwork within his office.

 Lizzy looked at Izzy and gave her a look , okay you where right but I had to try. Lizzy walked with Morris to his Shed.

  Magin   twirled  and when she saw the Udenese  and her the female  ..name drop.. Lilit's  Name   she snapped Back...

 ..Get away from me, you over grown hefta! I am..well I will be.. Corporal Magin, in the SEC of the Hermes.. Unlike you..io had  no family ties  to get me on board the ship!

 Magian was only  6 foot or so..but  'purebreds' were  normally  Smaller.

With a roll of her eyes and a wry shake of her head, Harry would chuckle along with Shadow as he made his quip about not inflicting her on the med tech ships as she watch them carefully open the box in order to get at the trading card inside. After taking a moment to take a closer look at the card and the stats on the back she would hand it back to Shade who would promptly wrap his arms about her legs in a tight hug. Although she couldn't understand what he was saying she could make an educated guess as she gently patted his back "hey that's alright love I'm just happy you finally got to see her" she said before watching him running excitedly up to show Roy and the others Lady's picture.

As Shadow resealed the box, Harry would smile as he thanked her again with him going on to speak about how much the models meant to some people before theorising about it being karma that he and Lady had had the same wing number "Like I said, it was the least I could do after all you've done for me, as for karma...I dunno maybe?" she said finishing with a shrug, not really knowing whether she believed in it or not considering all the things she'd done before coming here "Well LC I'd better see about spending a little more time with Will before jump off" She said before making her way to her quarters.

 Meari's eyes turned dark grey as she looked at the Verian, her muscles rippled but she would reply to the Verian," You will not speak to me like that Corporal Magin, I am a Sgt in the SEC as well, and I earned this position by killing Verians, I was given nothing on my heritage actually I had to work harder so War Lord Lilit had no choice to choose me even if I was blood related."

 Meari tried to calm down, there was a reason she was here but she would not trust her too easily, she was bred to kill Verians and it is hard to fight all those years of training. She will calm down, her eyes turn bluish. Than she says in a matter of fact tone," If you are here you might be worth saving but I will be watching you Corporal Magin, you step out of line or cause any harm to happen to any Hermes crew member you will feel my blades do we have an understanding Corporal."

  Magin was right  angry,..I  have  2  stripes, Because the SM Specner  said he was  at his capacity for SGTs... I was a SGT.. i was  going to go back to  vear, as Uden has not  been welcoming to my kind, even though i was born there!... But then again?.. I had no high hatched  blood lines   to aid me in my career!

   Shadow  gave  HArry a nod  before  he started walking to the   Ramp way, carrying the box  and  giving   Shade a whistle  as   the little fellow showed everyone and sundry   the pic..

  The LC waited    at the end of the flight  line  so they  could move on to the Rec Dec.

 Meari was trying not too loose her cool and gut this Verian bitch right in front of her. The fact that she said she was born on Uden actually made Meari think that she was the one being an asshole not giving Magin a chance.

 Meari looked at Magin in the yes and said," Well Magin I am sorry for your treatment as Uden born, and you will see when we go to Vera I have earned my place here no matter what my bloodlines." Meari looked at Magin again and then added," Very good you didn't back down and you have conviction, you will need that and welcome aboard." Meari actually felt respect for Magin and that meant so much to Meari, instead of going to Vera she wanted to fight for her birth world even if Udenese hated her.

 Meari decided to see how Magin would respond and Meari held her arm out for a typical Udenese warrior arm grab, she wanted to see how Magin would react to that.

Instinct cued him in on angry voices...after so many years as Hermes Security Chief, anything that disturbed smooth operations got his attention.

He stood up, looking around, and quickly spotted Meari and Magin (they were hard to miss...as large as almost anyone else on the Deck and the only two visibly squared of at each other...everyone else was busy getting back to business).  With a tired sigh, he started over.

"We going to have a problem here?" he asked, with an e asperated edge to his voice.  "Be a shame for both of you to miss action on Vera because you couldn't keep your fangs to yourselves in a friendly environment..."  There was a quiet warning edge to his tone...if the Felrites and Lirg could operate together, there was no excuse for these two, and he was obviously not going to put up with it.

"What's going on?" he asked, turning to Meari.  As both the ranking individual involved and the one with seniority, he expected her to answer first.
