So  we wil be flyting with them,,, and How many times in the past,  has the Furball grown, so that we must wing with some  one  from another ship, let alone , another Flight.. so, it  would be  nice to at elast know the names of the  New people.. most may not   even come back the first time...

 Lizzy wanted to know everything the fighter could do , she wanted to be an expert before she went or her first flight with her.

This isn’t a Captain Lightning vid where everyone comes home for tea and medals...pilots die on an alarmingly regular basis...many won’t even survive their first mission”

    Garrat had come up from the hold feeling pensive.  He had spent some time staring into the void.  While part of him had a lot to thhink about, his Geneticaly ingrained ADD kept him aware of the conversations behind him.  He returned "Perhaps talking to them and learning their names might make the difference between whether they come back from their first mission or not.  Can I chain munitions for Teela? she's a little busy this morning."

 Lizzy smiles and says," what you told me helped, Thank you,oh I assume my belts have been loaded,  but i need to check them myself, could you get me some new rounds please."

She then thinks of the schedule tomorrow PT in flight suit and then flying... first part not good , second part was great. She would have to check out her flight suit, she hoped she had one.

 Lizzy felt like,an idiot that she didn't know where everything was, she adds"Do know know where the pilot's locker room is I need to know if I have a flight suit for tomorrow. "

"Yeah, and maybe if we put "L" plates on their fighters it'll make the enemy go easy on them" Harry replied to Garrat's suggestion, with the blonde having not even been aware that he was on the hangar dec.

When the large Asgardian asked if could load rounds for Teela's bird Harry would visibly hesitate before cautiously replying "Um...I'd rather you didn't...It's not that I don't trust you or anything, but if you mess up it's Teela's ass that's on the line" and it would be my fault for letting you do it in the first place Harry silently added knowing that even if nobody ever found out that it would haunt her for a very long time to come.

Garrat looks at her kinda funny “um, I was addressing the deck crew, and was actually only going to sort for damaged bullets and load them into the chain.  She would inspect before the chains are loaded into the fighter.”  Kinda done it before

Harry would simply shrug her shoulders at Garrat's claim that he'd been addressing the ground crew rather than her "All the same I wouldn't be much of a wing lady if I let people mess with her ride whilst she's not here, and I would of expect her to do the same were our positions reversed" she said knowing that although it was unlikely that Will would decide to load her belts for her that she wouldn't want him doing so if only for the simple fact that she wouldn't want him to feel guilty should something go wrong out there.

  The  Fellow  she  asked looked a little embarrassed as he said.....Ma'am? Piltos have  thie r   Evirosuits  and whatever  boarding armor, if  any, they use ....in thier quarters?....when the  Bell sounds,  Pilot s are expected  to hit the  Dec  ready to fly

 He Nodded  to  the Berths,  1st  string Helmets   are  always in teh cockpit.. your back up  hemet is   on a shelf in the berth

BUt, YOu'll Forgive me SGT, if  i can't allow you to load the Belts  without the Pilot  here, or  the Flight leader  , or.. If you want   you may go ask Rivets..  Lizzy felt like an idiot but she was still nervous being on this ship, so many stories, and her Father very much approved of Admiral Hack and Commander Si.  Then her mind did slip back to the time her and Harry had. Shit she thought get to work, sex later.

 " Thank you very much." She did feel stupid she should have thought i ship like this would do it that way. Lizzy will then get everything ready and check her belt ammo.

    The  Belts   were laid   out on the   table  behind  the    fighter..  New  37MM  ammo boxes    sat  bit the nose of her  aircraft, Looking through the forest  of    aircraft  skids  and   Berth  walls, she  could  see Piltos  , there and there  loading Belts.. and some  Grounds  crew doing it for those  who didn't want to be bothered.

 There was a skinny   kid  looked ...just...old enough to have  joined up..he  was  carring  two  more   ammo  boxes to her  Flight...Hi Ma'am.. Im  Seamna  Lucky?  you want  me  to load your Belts?

 Abby   shrugged, fer me?.. I don't care who loads  them, as  long as they get it  right?

 Gia   snorted,..you see  those  there Bent ones  you tossed... image on blokign the  way and you need barrels   fired  into it... 2  37 MMs   goign off under your  Cowling..or  worse?... there is a blowback into  one of your ammo  bins?.. You become, just another pieces of   man made  stardust

 Argie  smiles  a bit,..our people know  our  jobs?....But  for every pilot  who loads  thie rown, that takes some of the pressure  off the grounds   crew

 Lizzy had to use all her willpower not to laugh when she heard the Seaman say his name was Lucky.

 Lizzy got her composure and said, " No Seaman but thank you I like doing this myself." Lizzy was not going to have anyone else load her belts, but she didnt want to seem mean but definitely not someone this new.

 Lizzy would then would load her belts carefully and how her Dad taught her to do it.

  The  Seaman nodded,..As You wish, Ma'am.... Hollar  for help if you need it...
 he  headed towards  Fitz's    Fighter with the two boxes of  ammo

 Clark  came down to the hanger    dec.. sunglasses on and a base ball  cap pulled  down over them..he winced  that the  sound of  Tools , shouts   and   Metal clangs,

 ..gods  be damned... i shouf  JUst  stick my head  out the static  field

 Lizzy would smile at the Seaman and say," Thank you I will if I need help Seaman Lucky." She had to fight the urge to laugh.

 Actually her Father would probably show up and slap her if she didn't load her own belts by herself.  As she is loading her belts she sees a Pilot she thinks acting like he had a bad hangover, she would smile and if he sees her she will wait to see what he does next.

Kira heard Clark so she made her way over to him, "Didn't think you were gonna make it down here today Clark, it was not so bad earlier when we started but it has really picked up now that the pilots are working on the aircraft's"

Kira watched as Clark went into his mech and shut it to block out all the noise, this prompted her to shake her head and sigh she cleaned her hands one last time on a clean shop rag, "Is it almost time for a lunch break?" she asked as she grew a bit hungry.

Hearing Abby’s comment Harry would give a brisk shake of her head in response ”no Gia’s right sis, if a mistake gets made your remains are going to be orbiting the nearest star, I wouldn’t want a ground pounder messing with my ride anymore than they’d want me messing with their armour” Harry responded hoping that Garrat wouldn’t push the matter any further ”anyway as soon as we’re finished here we can hit the rec dec and grab a drink and a bite to eat, sound good?”

 Lizzy will notice the man goes into a Mech and disappears, Lizzy will then just concentrate on her belts and continue until she is done loading her belts.

After leaving Sec the coldness from his eyes began to fade and humanity began to restore... it was a feeling he both loved and hated he lived his whole life that way a brutish killing machine but he couldn't let his anger control him... he was better then that.

As he walked he stopped at Lizzy's fighter and saw her loading belts, "How you holding up... Lizzy was it?" he asked keeping a neutral expression.

They would continue to work on Abby's ride, with Harry showing her how to properly calibrate the sensor suite and targeting computer once she'd finished loading her belt and had correctly loaded it into the feed for her cannon. Once they had done all that they needed to do, Harry would decide that it was time they got a drink and something to eat.

It was as she and Abby were heading off towards the rec dec that Harry would spot Lizzy working by herself on her own bird. After giving a sharp whistle in order to catch the redheads attention over the general noise of the hangar dec she would call across to her in a friendly voice "Hey Liz, Abby and I are heading up to the rec dec for a drink and a bite to eat, to join us if you like...it'd give me chance to introduce you to some of the other girls" she said, you're welcome waiting long enough to see if she wanted to join them or not before continuing on her way to the lifts.

 Lizzy smiles as she looks up almost done with her belts, it is Zob, Zobaick.
" I am doing real good thank you Zobaick, and Yes Lizzy Maris." She expertly finishes up loading that belt.

  She smiles and says," The ship is amazing the crew are great, glad I got transferred here."
 Lizzy was about to say more when Harry whistled and called to her and invited her to the Rec Dec, her heart skipped a beat and she called back," Sure I am almost done I will meet you guys there."

 Lizzy would turn back to Zob and said," It is good to see you again Zobaich, is everything alright you seem different then before?"

Zob smiles slightly, "You can just call me Zob for short, its a bit difficult to pronounce the first name correctly unless you have a very guttural voice" 

he took a deep breath before continuing, "Its good to see you're enjoying your time here i'm certain you will fit right in... took a long long time for me to be accepted for obvious reasons" he then frowned a tiny bit, "Its just been kind of a stressful day to be honest... couple of people had to take the long walk home"

 Lizzy was happy he said call him Zob she knew she was butchering his name. She will say" Yes so far so good, met some great people already, and you are one of them Zob."

 Lizzy knew what he meant her Father told her all about that, she would respond," Ahh I got you Zob, I really hope you have a better rest of your day. When I am done here I am heading to the Rec Dec to meet Harry and Abbey, you can drop by later if you need to relax or just have some fun? I will sing if it will have a better day Zob." She only sang that once but it was fun.
