Although a doctor of the mind, foremost, Alison was no stranger to injuries and scars, given that most of her patients were those deployed out in the field.  And she had seen worse than what Sam showed her, in terms of sheer damage.

But, this wasn't the result of enemy soldier's fire, or shrapnel, or a crash-landing.  This was sadism, torture, inflicted on a child who could in no way defend themselves.

"Well, they did give you hell," she said in summary, after looking.

"It seems everything healed as well as it could, and what you're left with is the visible reminder."       She paused, then asked-

"How do you feel about that reminder, is the question? Have you considered having any work done, to reduce the scars?"   

 Sam smiled, she put her duty uniform shirt back on and replied to Alison," Like I said I just remember the pain and they were trying to make as deep marks as possible not sure why except for torment."

 Sam thought about that question and replied," I am not sure Roo a med tech friend I met also brought that up. I think I am at the point where they are a part of who I am now does that make sense Doctor?"

 Stefi  entered the  Med tech, she  checked on  Frakas  who was  sleeping, but seemed to be stable.

  walking over to Harry's  rom, The Guardian saluted her... She  study the scanner, and  HArry's charts, then came  back out..moving off to her offcie.

Alison nodded. "It does make sense.  It matters really not that they're there, but rather how they affect you.  And if they don't, in any negative way, then there is nothing to fix."   

 Sam smiled and said," Then you are correct Doc, there is nothing to be fixed. Thank you again for everything." Sam then made a turn to leave and said," I will try and look through the Burian records I have access too possibly find a match maybe, thank you for this Doc." Sam smiled and headed out heading to her quarters to get ready for send-off.

Alison waved in farewell, glad to have been able to help, and then turned to finish off the final details of the sign-off procedure.

Send-off involved all personnel aboard the Hermes, in some manner, herself included. Thus she too began to turn her thoughts toward that event, as she made her way back to her own living space.

In other circumstance, Alison would've chatted with Madison, to get to know her a bit better, learn where she was from, that sort of thing.

However, given her condition, she decided to hold off on any talk, even the soft spoken kind.

Once they reached the dispensary, inside Med-Tech, she went to the metallic, silvery cabinet, and swiftly tapped the code to access what lay within.   Following two short beeps, the panel opened and she grabbed what she was looking for.

"Here you go," handing Madison a small cylinder.

"Unlike cheap civilian grade, this doesn't cause any drowsiness, or other side effects. Take one every six hours, or when you can, until your symptoms subside."

Madison followed Alison quietly. Despite the throb in her head, the churn in her gut and the ache pretty much everywhere else, she felt a little guilty for not being more talkative. They ended up in a part of the ship Madison had never been to. But there were many parts of the ship she had never been. She didn't really look around all that much and it was a good bet she wouldn't have been able to find her way back on her own.

After finally reaching what looked like a super clean storage area, Alison retrieved a small bottle from one of the locked cabinets. "Thank you" Madison looked at it, but really didn't read the label.

The instructions were simple. Madison opened the container right away, taking on of the powdery white pills. She really hoped she wouldn't need a second in six hours, but would empty the bottle if she had to.

"I'm sorry i wasn't more talkative. Thank you so much, but I'm going to go lie down and let this take effect."

 Stefi   stepped out of her Office, he had a  field case instead of a bag..Getting things  ready for the  the Tunnel  run,  We only have a couple head cases left on board... no transfers, so one case should  be  enough

 she looked at  Alison...You running?

"You know, Steffi, I thought about it, but I think I'll sit this one out. Maybe next time?"

Alison glanced at her comm, noting the incoming message.

" Hello Doctor Verault I am Ens. Lizzy O'Conner if you have time, I really need to talk to you about quite a few things, thanks you."

To which she responded back:  "Of course, ensign.  I'll send you my availability, and you can pick a time that works for you."   


With nothing else to detain her here, Alison ensured the cabinet was secure, and then made her way to her office.

 NA-CE walked into Med Tech and looked around she then asked," Hello could you point me to the way to the head of Med Tech I should check in, Corporal NA-CE Blue Angel combat med tech."

   The  woman was  on COM with a Civie. she held up a finger, when she was  done  she  said...Stefi...i mean, LT Simmons  is back that way, you truen to the right from the  recovery rooms?..her shingle is   on her door...she is in.

 NA-CE nodded then replied," Thank you very much," NA-CE then headed to the right looking for Lt. Simmons. She walked down the hall looking for the room she was in. NA-CE found the right place she looked in the open door to see if it was appropriate to go in or should she wait outside for the Lt, to be done.

 Stefi was sipping coffee   and looking at her   Screens.. she didn't notice NA-CE  yet. There was no one else in the   Office.

 Na-CE knocked on the door and said," Hello I am Corporal NA-CE combat med tech, I thought I would check in with med tech as well as SEC."

  Stefi, looked up  and pointed to her  Coffie  machine,Certainly. Have a coffee  if you wish. I have  some of those  wafer  choices in the container there.. strawberry and Vanilla..or..that's what they taste like  anyway,

 all vessels, Sations  and Outposts, have  ....what  crews call. 'Hard Luck jobs".. it seems  like  whom ever  have   those   jobs  ..'disappear' oneway or the other. That seems to be  the   Combat Med tech here..we have  three of them take  from us, as well as a doctor?... But... Med tech vessels have bigger need  for them , then a single ship..or..so they say.

 NA-CE nodded and made herself a coffee and tried an strawberry wafer, it wasnt to bad. NA-CE replied," Wow I wondered why it was so hard for me to get a posting on the Hermes they did say they wanted me on a Med Tech vessel but my experience with combat on the moons I guess they decided to put me here for now. I hope I can do my best and stay on board Lt."

  The Admiral and Captain Si havve the last word. but  they won't  short change a Med tech Vessel... its like a black hole.. they go there..and we never see them again...

 she shakes her head,that's a shame too? they work with the crew, get to know them, then 'poof' they're gone...

 NA-CE nodded and replied, " Yes, I understand ed Tech vessels need med techs, but I am not an ordinary med tech I am also Blue Monn Angel Special Forces maybe with that they will keep me on the front lines. I will do everything I can to keep from being transferred Lt. Yes I hope I can get to know the crew as well and I don't plan on puffing anytime soon Lt."

  Stefi leaned back, taking a  sip of her  coffee,There are  4  ways people leave here... They  transfer out....They get pulled out..They a sent away..or they leave in a Black bag...

 Sadly, the last group is  50-50 of people we  wanted to get rid of, and people we wished  were still here.

 NA-CE smiled and then responded," I do not plan or going 3 of those ways, that only leaves being pulled out which unfortunately I have no control over. I wish we could fight this war and lose no one but that is very foolish, I have seen alot of blood fighting for the moons now I will do my best here to save as many as I can and kill as many Empire scum I can."

 Stefi  gives a  soft chuckle,well..this is the Shoip to do that..from what i understand,  we are the only ship  that had, extra Curricular  hunting... it is Military focused, of  course, but  it leans to terrorism..we like to feed the  enemy the  same  menu they dish out..more or less..some of our people have done that literally,

NA-CE smiles and replies," Ahh yes, your Delta Nights, I have heard them called that follow the Hermes, is very much like Blue Moon Angel Special Forces who would I talk to too get invited to your next one Lt. I would be a great asset to any such endeavor Lt. " With her connections in the Blue Moon Special Forces which was the Blue Moon Angels version of Delta Nights she heard about all of their endeavors for sure. At least the after affects, she couldn't wait to be on the inside one of them though getting those Empire scum.

 she waggled a Finger at her...barkign up the wrong tree, chickie. I just put  people back together. You have to  talk to the guys who enjoy filling the Body bags.They don't just take anyone, they may ask  for a Volunteer. that's when you get your 'try out'

 NA-CE hoped she didn't offend the Lt., then she replied," Thank you Lt. I will keep that under advisement and volunteer with given the chance, thank you Lt."

 NA-CE then asked," I know I am under the SM in combat I reported to SEC already, now do I report to you officially, and do you who I report to as my next superior?"
