Despite the absolute hell raging on around them outside Zob was surprisingly comfortable he glanced up to Jax that sat across from him, "You alright Jax?" he asked casually looking over the demon heavy pulse and nodding slightly pleased with the results.

She listened intently.  That was the big key she knew.  not listening might get her killed.  No...she wanted to be a pain in the ass to someone in her old age.  "Fitz's squad, got it.  No heroics unless absolutely needed" she didn't say it sarcasticly, but as she understood what was to be needed.
When he spoke of the dusters and mercs she realized what it meant.  She nodded.  about that time she heard Lizzy.  Turning she gave a thumbs up.  She turned back to Shadow "I'll do my best" as she mounted up in Justin rig.  Waiting for the call to begin she began making any last moment adjustments.  She was fully loaded and armed for war.

 Lizzy launched her fighter and Followed Fitz, with Nikki right with her hopefully. She headed to the lake and then up the river to the Valley, she entered the Valley and then began firing her pulse cannons at any troops or armor, or anything that looked like a bad guy.

 She will keep her eyes open for any major targets as she flies through the Valley. She will keep her eyes open for AA emplacements.  When they get to the end of the valley Lizzy will follow Fitz's lead.

FLEX

Having received the direction from Beth, Hawkeye turns and heads to the other hanger after signalling one of the handful of Hermes techs to keep an eye on things.

Once she enters with out a word she breaks into a run, once closer she calls out. "ROLF!!!" racing up to him, but pulling a bit but hugging him all the same. "I didn't think you were going to be here."

Melia showed up to the hangers decked out in her gear, with her weapons in duffle bag. Once set she moves efficiently loading and checking each piece one last time jamming side arms into holsters, slinging weapons clipping mags where they belong once they'd been checked. Once the last of everything had been jammed home she gives Zob a small, grim, shy smile.  Then the briefing starts, she listens patiently until it ends and joins in grabbing the emergency signal grenades.

Melia heads to the hanger grabbing her standard assortment of grenades. Before loading in an APV, she smiles behind her goggles and face paint as she checks her carbine glancing over at Zob. She chides herself not to get too caught up in her feelings, its game time, and time to lock in.

Orria quickly punches the keys watching Beth following her fingers over the keys as best she is able. Once she's figured out generally how Beth was routing the music into the sniffers she also sets to work. She's nowhere as near as quick as Beth or even Sam, but she quickly develops an uncanny instinct to anticipate where the sniffers are coming in next. As she works she starts to build an algorithm that does more than flood the sniffer, adapting the lessons from Henry she tries to make it to flip the sniffers in their favor.

Finally in the battle mindset emotion tucked into a corner of her mind Melia sits back calmly bouncing along seemingly unconcerned by the vehicle moving under fire. The only sign of any stress her trigger finger smoothly and slowly tracing the trigger guard.

Sarah had spent her time wandering the command outpost. Perhaps she should have been taking notes on places to improve things, instead she simply took note of who was responding to the delta tempo and standard and who was resisting.

Once the units departed she quickly heads over to the TOC watching the units move. She finds satisfaction in Sam's efforts working with Beth. As she watches the various ground forces move to their respective flanking positions.

Hawkeye breaks the hug looking at him more closely. "Dont go getting yourself killed out there, or push yourself too hard." she gently admonishes with a happy smile.

look I gotta get back to kicking asses in the field hospital. they insist on putting the clamps in an odd order and sorting surgical trays any which way. Gods I never thought I'd sound like my old general practice professor. You better come see me when you get back. she says. The louder at Mullins, Hear that Mullins! Dont you let him over work himself and every extra hole in his skin that he comes back with I'm taking off of you to patch him back up!!!

Switching back to Rolf, look I think we both got places to be right now.... after well catch up. Have a drink, or something she says heading back towards the medical area.

En-Route, Garrat makes his suggestion to Spencer that Jax be pared with the video journalist.

Henry helped Mila into her harness, and checked his own armour and shotgun. Then he stood ready to be sent wherever the pair of them were needed.

After hearing the latest instalment in her sisters comically disastrous bid to get in Shadows bed, Harry couldn’t help but laugh ”oh Abby I can’t believe I’m saying this but we really need to get you laid, if only to take your horny little mind off the LC” she said with a teasing smile. She also suspected that getting her sister a man would calm her down a little though there were no guarantees on that one.

Hearing Abby’s comment concerning the knot of flight leaders and their potential to get them all killed should they make the wrong decision Harry would look her sister in the eyes as said in a firm voice ”Abby you need to trust them! You must do what they tell you there’s no other way...besides most of them have been here from the start, and anyone that has lived that long doing what we do is worth listening to” hoping that her sister wouldn’t slip back into old ways considering the circumstances in which she’d become an ace.

With the call to scramble being made Harry would once again throw her arms about her sister in a tight hug whispering ” I love you little fish, see you on the other side” directly into her ear before dashing over to her fighter and firing up the engines. It was time to rock’n’roll!

”I was only asking, I’m not paparazzi you know” Izzy said in a hurt voice as she was warned off of speaking to Zob or his mystery girl by Garrat, disappointed that people were already assuming that she would plaster people’s personal lives all over the net without a care to the damage it would cause.

With her briefing with Beth completed, Isobel would retrieve a pair of smoke grenades and add them to her kit, which in comparison to the rest of the team was decidedly sparse. As well as her desert cam combat armour she carried a pair of vid boards, a 9mm pistol, kabar, and the carbine version of the new smart rifles being used by the US army back home. She saw no need to load herself down with any additional equipment because when all was said and done she was the reporter. It was her job to film other people doing courageous things, not to do them herself.

Boarding the APC she would take the seat next to the nervous young man, listening to his explanation that he simply wasn’t used to waiting in a transport that was taking him somewhere to be shot at ”Trust me you get used to it... I threw up during my  first time going into a hot zone so you’re one up on me” she kindly said offering him a pretty smile as she idly wondered if he was single ”why don’t we see if we can’t take your mind off of things for a little while...why don’t we start with your name?” she asked as Tali unobtrusively moved into position.

  Jax  Looked at  Izzy,..my  Name's  Jax, Ma'am.. came to the ship..um.. through  Etna. Been in lots of  things like this..not as big..but folks died.. I just  don't  like being Locked in this   tincan...least..if it was a shuttle.. the Pilot   coud fly around a bit?..

 The fighter  broke off now air cover   Goping Up and Over the   north Wall, Frans  leading half  of them to the east... Shadow  taking Half to the west, as  Demon and Largran  fighters   tried to make sense of  what was happening

 Brivet got the first kill of the  day, chewing the Belly out of  Demon who  dipped down  as he saw , still more   fighters  circling   the Valley  chewing up the   sides of the Cliff...

 Fitz  showed his  experience, by recognizing     the 'doors'   AA guns  popped out  from, Blwoing  two up  , sending   showers of metal and  Rock to the Ground Below...

 In the VAlley,  the  fighters   seemed to have eliminated all the armor..sparse as it was  ..Fitz here to CP?   it looks like all the armor is dead...least.. all we can see...  transports   are LAnding troops   now....

 The Ape  Folk  were   tossing   down Lines, they began to crawl  down, hand over  fist  with  boots   slowing thier  descent .. Naragrans  were     dropping like  massive spiders,  with 10 m to 15  'armored  Gava on thier  backs,..with legs   hooked into   webbing on the  sides.. The little  creatures wore  helmets.. or  cut down chest plates a few wore captured   Demon   shoulder  guards   as   Back plates.. they were  armed  with little bows... spears..and   at least half  had some kind or  weapon...thier theory was " we'll get more"

 from the west side  ,  Burian  Archer   sent  clouds  of  arrows  into the UES that were pouring  out of the  holes  along the  North  face.. the  heavy shafts  , aided by gravity  struck  the  carapaces.. some Pinning the creatures  to the  ground

 the forest was  being chewed  up  by the   strafing fighters...fires  started  and Burned..some buring  from the first   sweep...

 ..alright?...  keep off the cliffs on either side..target the North  face..and forest..try and   take out  as many of the  UES   as we  cam.. get some 37 MM  rounds in those holes..

 Orria  Giggled at Shadow's  'offer' to the Empire.....Mr Shadow is funny!

  Then..the  screens lit up.. two screens  showed    static pics  of    Nina and Henry..the other  two    head CAMs  for   Mila and Gorgo

 Val  said into her head set.....alright Doctor ..i have you all on  the CAMs.. will be   checking  vitals on the partners... stay safe...

 SAm saw the 4 screens  light up that Beth had spoken of.. there  were  3  women and one  man..all pilots...

 South Group here..encountering    light resistance..  They had  no idea, we were ready for them...

west group here.. we  found the power source..light resistance  as well.. heavy troop  Movement, but they are going 'into ' the mpoutnain here..

..North Group...armor   is  heading into the Mountains here..looks like ..maybe  10,000  troops.. they haven't  detected us   yet...

.East group... nothing here?...  Teh Bruians seemed to  have  cleaned this part up rather well...

Isobel would continue to smile as Jax spoke, with her casually brushing aside a lock of shiny black hair as she does so ” well may I say Jax seeing as this is your first major action you are handling it remarkably well, and I can’t say I’m fond of bugs either” she said pulling a bit of a face at the idea of facing giant creepy crawlies ”so tell me Jax is there a special someone waiting for you back at the ship?” she asked hoping that the question would keep his mind off of giant bugs and being trapped in a tin can. She also thought that he was kind of cute so wanted to know if he was available before she started flirting with him ”also no more of this Ma’am business you’re making me sound like an old lady, call me Isobel, or Izzy if you like” she added with a giggle, inviting him to drop the formality of her rank.

 Shadow  didn't  wait, he started  The Screw, Right into the ehart of the  formation.. sending one    down without  a Wing, the one that  Dove  down   trailed  fire  and Smoke..., as per his 'move, He   climbed to meet  the   one that tried to climb away.. While  KAt pounced on the   aircraft that  Veered  to the  east...

 Flores, Nosed up..hitting the underbelly of a Demonic   fighter..., white Vapor  and Black smoke  poured  from the  rends and tears..ending  with  it slamming into the wester  Cliff FAce.

 Shadow  forced a laugh into the COMs,  Look?..  not saying  anyhting   is the same  as  saying No... Beth?.. Put on record..they ha thier chance...

    Garrat chuckles at Jax “I don’t think girlfriend  is enough describe Sneaks relationship to you Jax.  You’ve been through the same hell together since you two were barely old enough to see above a table top.  Where I come from that would be a life companion.”   Garrat thinks a bit “.com me the next time you have target practice scheduled.  Sneak needs to practice shooting but she’s really not into using weapons now that she doesn’t have to...she will work with you.  She has too much raw potential to stay on the rec dec forever.”

After what felt like an age Harry would finally be allowed to take off and form up with the rest the disguised ESN fighters as they screamed across the sky towards the valley. After breaking off from the other flights to her designated sector, Harry would follow Shadow up after the Demon fighters in order to perform a screw of her own, trusting Teela to pick off the remaining enemy aircraft.

When the red light came on in the APC Zob casually stood up and put down the face shield and readied his weapon as he counted down 60 secs in his head he glanced a look at Melia and gave a small smile then looked forward, "Alright 60 secs, lets give these bastards hell!"

Kira and her team were in the lead APV, "60 secs you two, we pile out and provide cover fire for the ground troops as they get out of there APVS" Kira opted to go with a dual heavy pulse gun set up wanting to save the hard ammo until they were a bit further in.

”Is that so?” Izzy said as it was revealed by Garrat that Jax had what amounted to a childhood sweetheart even if they weren’t aware of it themselves. Sure she was a little disappointed to learn that he wasn’t available but she was still happy that he had such a close relationship with someone ”well Jax have you ever told her how you feel about her? She probably doesn’t realise that you want to be more than just friends” she suggested before pulling on her helmet as the one minute mark was called. After making a few quick adjustments to the chin guard and mic she would turn to Garrat and Jax and ask ”ok guys how do I look? Is everything on straight with nothing twisted?” she asked knowing that combat gear and pink lipstick made for an interesting look. She also didn’t want to find her gear wasn’t on properly in the middle of a hot zone. Meanwhile Tali would continue to take footage of those within the APC so as to capture the atmosphere and camaraderie as the ESN went into battle.

 Lizzy follows Fitz down into the Valley, she will keep her eyes open for AA guns, she sees Fitzsimmons take one out. Lizzy will keep taking out enemy troops and use hard ammo on the big stuff.

 Lizzy will also watch to see if any fighters come down to take them out or hit our ground troops. If she,sees any she will be on them in a heart beat.

 Sam's 4 screens light up and come on and Sam activates her headset and links them up, she then gets to work on keeping these four pilots alive and get the job done.

Beth my screens are up, I am on it. Sam then gets to work telling them where to go and where the bad guys are.
She is goid at this, she thinks fast and looks,faster.
